A Study on ESP Skating English Education Based on Job Analysis (직무분석 기반 특수목적 빙상 영어 교육에 대한 연구)

This study aims to provide skating ESP(English for Specific Purposes) education model for skating instructors in Korea. For this purpose, a total of twenty-seven professional skating instructors were surveyed according to a questionnaire, which asked about their English skills and perspective of the importance of English study and English skating class. The main results are as follows: most skating instructors' confidence in their English is low; majority of them answered that English study is needed for skating instructors; a majority of them want English teaching that focused on speaking and teaching activities. After that, skating instructors' jobs were analyzed using the DACUM(Developing A Curriculum Method). A DACUM committee extracted the duties and tasks which require English education and conducted a survey that targeted skating instructors. When interpreting the study on ESP Skating English Education based on job analysis, it was evident that the English language would be essential for enabling effective communication with judges during national sports competitions, information exchange with foreign skaters, and for technical skating instructions.   • 건축, 설비, 생산 등의 공학기술의 진보, 경제력의 성장, 관람 스포츠의 대중화, 생활기반의 여유 등으로 실내체육관의 보급이 증가하고 있으며 빙상 경기장도 이와 같은 추세에 따라 건립이 증가하고 있다. 빙상 경기장은 얼음이 기본조건으로 대부분 천연 또는 인공얼음을 사용하지만 특수한 플라스틱 판을 얼음 대신 이용하는 경우도 있다. 빙상경기를 기사조건이나 계절에 관계없이 4계절 운동으로 할 수 있는 실내 빙상경기장의 종류, 구조, 냉각관 재질 및 설계 시 유의사항 등을 기술하고자 한다.

설비기술 - 평창올림픽 빙상장에 해양심층수 활용한 냉난방 시스템 적용

  • 평창올림픽 빙상장에 해양심층수를 이용한 냉난방시스템 가동 방안이 추진된다. 국토해양부는 태양광이 도달하지 않는 수심 200m 아래의 해양심층수가 연중 $2^{\circ}C$ 정도를 유지하는 점을 이용해 세계 최초로 올림픽 빙상장에 한국해양연구원의 '해수냉난방시스템' 및 '해수온도차 발전' 연구개발 사업 성과를 적용한다고 밝혔다. 이번 기술이 전기에어컨이나 흡수식 냉동기 등에 적용되면 기존 시스템에 비해 에너지는 60%, 비용은 82%, 이산화탄소 배출량은 64% 줄어들게 된다.

Recovery of Mass Changes in Antarctic Ice-Sheet based on the Regional Climate Model, RACMO (RACMO 기후 모델에 기반한 남극 빙상 질량 변동의 재현)

  • Mass change in the Antarctic Ice Sheet(AIS) is the most important indicator of changes in Earth's climate system including global mean sea level rise that are largely affected by ongoing global warming. In this study, AIS mass variations are examined with satellite gravity data and outputs from a regional climate model. The analysis of gravity data shows that along the coastal region the Western AIS has experienced a continuous and significant ice loss while a slight increasing in the Eastern AIS during the study period (2002.08-2016.08). The temporal and spatial variations in ice mass changes are recovered by a regional climate model, but the recovered amplitudes are much smaller than those of observations. This under-estimation is remarkably resolved by modifying a base flow field for the ice discharge. The recovered estimates based on the ice-flow field can explain about 97% of the rate of mass change in observations before 2009. This implies that changes in ice flow dynamics along the coast line plays a pivotal role in regulating long-term budget of ice mass in AIS.

  • Recently, increasing demand for 'Digital Elevation Model(DEM)' to climate change research and various development by global warming in the Arctic region. So we need to verify the accuracy to utilize DEM. In this research, we verified 'ASTER GDEM' and 'GIMP DEM' in several DEM which constructed in the Greenland that most of the area is covered ice sheet. We divided greenland into two part, ice sheet area and non ice sheet area by using the ESA globcover. Then, comparing a difference between 'ASTER DEM', 'GIMP DEM' and ICESat elevation data to verify the accuracy. As a result, GIMP DEM has higher accuracy in ice sheet area and ASTER GDEM has higher accuracy in non-ice sheet area.

Structural relationships among achievement goal orientation, self-leadership and sport motivation of skating athletes (빙상선수의 성취목표성향과 셀프리더십 및 스포츠 동기의 구조적 관계)

  • This study was to verify the structural relationships among achievement goal orientation, self-leadership and sport motivation of skating athletes. The data were collected out of skating athletes in Seoul and Gyonggi area, and total 369 copies of data were utilized in this study. To verify the relationships among achievement goal orientation, self-leadership and sport motivation, the construct validity and reliability for each factor were analyzed using SPSS18.0 and AMOS18.0 program. And the relationships among three factors were analyzed using covariance structural analysis. The results were as follows. First, the achievement goal orientation of skating athletes had positive effects on self-leadership. Second, the achievement goal orientation of skating athletes had positive effects on sport motivation. Third, the self-leadership of skating athletes had positive effects on sport motivation.
