  • This study explains how to solve engineering problems easily and efficiently by using cloud based big data platform. To do this, we propose a cloud based big data analysis platform. The application helps users easily create models for data analysis using cloud based big data analysis platform. Analytical models modeled using components are analyzed through an analysis engine. Our platform include pre-processing, analysis, and visualization algorithms required for data analysis. Finally, we show an application of effluent concentration in a sewage treatment process.

  • 본 논문은 병원과 지역사회에서 제공하는 재활 서비스를 연계하여 재활 단계별 개인 맞춤 재활서비스를 제공하기 위한 재활운동 빅데이터 플랫폼과 재활 서비스를 지원하는 재활 운동 기기간의 데이터 수집을 위한 인터페이스의 설계에 관한 것이다. 재활 운동 빅데이터 플랫폼은 병원과 지역사회에서 생성되는 재활 관련 데이터를 수집하고 이를 가공, 유통하기 위한 데이터 서비스와 수집된 데이터를 예측, 분석하여 개인 맞춤형의 단계별 재활을 지원하기 위한 다양한 서비스를 제공한다. 본 논문에서는 재활 운동을 보조하는 재활 운동 기기에서 생성되는 다양한 유형의 데이터를 재활 운동 빅데이터 플랫폼으로 전송하고, 수집된 데이터를 플랫폼 내외부에서 활용 가능하도록 제공할 수 있는 인터페이스에 대하여 설명한다.

  • The topic of big data has gained attention from the industry and the academics, because of the revitalization of social network services. The purpose of this study is to analyze the application cases of big data according to the categories of U-City services. The result from this study is that inside and unstructured information is more applied than outside and structured information in order to generate big data.

  • By reviewing preceding studies of big data and spatial big data, spatial big data was defined as one part of big data, which spatialize location information and systematize time series data. Spatial big data, as one part of big data, should not be separated with big data and application methods within the system is to be examined. Therefore in this study, services that spatial big data is required to provide were suggested. Spatial big data must be available of various spatial analysis and is in need of services that considers present and future spatial information. Not only should spatial big data be able to detect time series changes in location, but also analyze various type of big data using attribute information of spatial data. To successfully provide the requirements of spatial big data and link various type of big data with spatial big data, methods of forming sample points and extracting attribute information were proposed in this study. The increasing application of spatial information related to big data is expected to attribute to the development of spatial data industry and technological advancement.

  • 빅데이터 시대로 변화함에 따라 도서관 및 정보서비스 분야에서도 데이터 분석에 대한 중요성이 점차적으로 증대되고 있다. 본 연구는 도서관 분야에서의 데이터 분석활용 현황 및 분석서비스에 대한 인식수준을 파악하고, 이를 바탕으로 데이터 분석 기반의 도서관 운영을 지원할 수 있는 빅데이터 분석 서비스 개선방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 먼저, 도서관 분야 데이터 분석 교육 전후 인식조사를 토대로 현재 데이터 분석현황 및 인식변화를 분석하였다. 또한 개인적 특성과 분석서비스 인식과의 관계를 분석하였고, 추가적으로 인식수준이 교육 및 분석서비스 만족도에 미치는 영향에 대해 살펴보았다. 분석결과를 기반으로 향후 데이터 분석 교육 및 분석서비스의 발전방향을 제시하였다.

  • 다양한 센서를 내장한 스마트기기가 보급되면서 개인의 활동부터 환경 상태까지 광범위한 미시 데이터의 수집이 가능해졌고, 또한 데이터 저장매체의 가격과 통신비용이 급격히 하락하고 있으며, 컴퓨터의 연산능력과 데이터 분석 방법론도 눈부시게 성장하는 중이다. 이러한 데이터 처리 기술의 발전과 함께 빅데이터에 대한 사회적 인식의 제고가 맞물리며 빅데이터 시장이 빠르게 성숙하고 있다. 이에 따라 국내 외 대다수의 기업들이 빅데이터 기술을 도입 검토 중에 있으며, 특히 글로벌 콘텐츠(방송, 음악, 도서 등) 기업들의 맞춤형 추천 서비스 성공 사례들로 인해 빅데이터 기술이 콘텐츠 산업 업계의 차세대 먹거리로 주목을 받고 있다. 이에 본 논문은 국내 케이블 방송 사업자들이 빅데이터 기술을 접목한 차별화된 서비스 제공을 통해 고객에게 새롭고 차별화된 가치를 제공할 수 있는 서비스 방안에 대해서 연구하였다.

  • Big data is an emerging issue as large data which was impossible to be processed in the past is possible to be handled with the development of information and communication technology. Manufacturing is the most promising field that big data is applied such that there are abundant data available. It is important to improve an efficiency of manufacturing process for quality control and production efficiency because the processes from production design, sales, productions and so on are mixed intricately. This study proposes big data cloud service for manufacturing analysis using a big data technology and a process mining technique. It is expected for manufacturing corporations to improve a manufacturing process and reduced the cost by applying the proposed service. The service provides various analyses including manufacturing analysis and manufacturing duration analysis. Big data cloud service has been implemented and it has been validated by conducting a case study.

A Study on Characteristics of Female Consumers Using Big Data (Big Data를 활용한 여성소비자의 특성연구)

  • We are living in big data. Specially, female consumers are the hottest issue. Female consumers have a great effected on consumer culture as comparing male consumers. Therefore, this study analysis characteristics of female consumers through case study and literature review. The summarized results of research are as follows. First, percentage of economically active population of unmarried female of 20s is high, so they actively spend lots of money on buying goods and so on. Second, they are ahead of the curve and follow entertainers. Third, domestic case studies(SD online buz marketing, C.S.I. Shinsegaemall project, Service center only for female consumers of Shinhan Card, Travel Service of Lotte Tour) and international case studies(Big data service of Target, ZARA, and Walmart) show that if we utilize big data, we can raise re-purchasing desire and analysis needs of female consumers and create new female consumers.

  • This study revisits issues for Big data. Three research questions, understanding the concept of Big data, important issues of Big data research and utilization methods for library information services, are explored by the literature and practice reviews. Study results revealed several important issues of Big data including the concept in the context of real world situation, the problems with the accuracy and reliability of the data, privacy and ethical issues, and issues of intellectual property rights. With understanding these issues, a few utilization methods were introduced for Library and Information services. It was included using its analysis for developing vision, adopting Library management, supporting community services, and providing customized information services for various users. The study concluded Big data analysis would effectively provide valid evidences for all those services.

  • The proportion of micro-enterprises and self-employed in Korea is excessively high compared to that of major developed countries, and frequent start-ups and business closures are repeated, causing enormous damage to the national economy. In order to solve this problem, various studies are underway for micro-enterprises, and the government provides commercial district information analysis services using big data for micro-enterprises. Among the commercial district information analysis services, the commercial district information analysis of our village store operated by the Seoul Metropolitan Government is continuously improving its service to provide the big data analysis service related to micro-enterprises. Since the service was built by integrating big data provided by various organizations, however, there are limitations in data reliability, data analysis, and service composition. In order to overcome these limitations, this paper proposes a location-based survey system that can be analyzed in conjunction with big data-based commercial district services. The proposed questionnaire survey system established the basis for expending the big data commercial district analysis service by linking the survey information and commercial district information.
