Research on the Method of a Composite Navigation Algorithm Using Aircraft Recorder Data (비행기록자료를 이용한 복합항법 알고리즘 구성)

  • Flight recoder is used to analyze the accident factors and prevent the accident. In the analysis of the flight recorder, the most important factor is how to estimate the precise location of the flight. Traditional aviation navigation is based on stable sensors such as DME and VOR. In order to enhance the precision of the location estimation, the integrated navigation algorithm is designed to incorporate DME, Air data sensors and INS(Inertial Navigation System). The results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm can achieve better accuracy, comparing with the traditional navigation schemes, in flight location estimation.

  • 본 연구는 GPS와 노트북 PC를 이용하여 비행경로정보를 얻기 위한 것으로, 이들을 실제 비행기에 장착하여 위치(동경, 북위, 고도), 방위, 속도등의 비행경로정보를 기록하였다. 기록된 자료를 분석한 결과 실제 비행시의 자료들과 일치함을 보였다. GPS와 노트북 PC를 이용한 비행기록장치는 조종훈련생들의 항법교육 및 항법 능력 측정 자료로 이용 될 수 있을 것이다.

  • A pilot logbook is an essential data for proving pilot's flight experience. the reason for maintaining this information is to fulfill the requirement for pilot certificates, manage internationally shared career placement. this study focuses on the instrument flight related items among other flight time items which are included in a pilot logbook. By comparing the way of flight time logging among Korean Aviation Law, Federal Aviation Regulation and Joint Aviation Requirements, this study concludes intensively how to define items for flight time, to amend the definition and to apply the policy in Korea with respect to the pilot logbook.

  • Flight data recorder (FDR) for accident investigation is required to comply with EUROCAE(ED-112) standard so that flight data can be restored when exposed to extreme conditions due to aircraft crash. Since the ED-112 standard defines the general requirements for all aircraft, it is essential to analyze detailed requirements for FDR software to apply appropriate requirements selectively according to the configuration and operation concept of a specific aircraft. In this paper, the software requirements applicable to unmanned aircraft will be analyzed and the FDR software design will be proposed. Also, a software verification method for each requirement will be presented to verify that the implemented software is designed to satisfy all requirements.

  • This study is performed to analyze the turbulence distribution of Fev. & Mar. in 2000 by the analysis of the parameters related with flight data of FDR(Flight Data Recorder). In the analysis, we selected the Solid State Flight Data Recorder(SSFDR) & Universal Flight Data Recorder(UFDR) flight data of the exact same aircraft(capacity 120 persons). Through this study, we verified that turbulence is concerned with configuration of the ground and flight situation of aircraft.

  • 본 논문에서는 임베디드 기반의 다양한 센서를 활용한 드론의 비행기록장치 시스템 개발에 대한 새로운 아이디어를 제시한다. 이 시스템은 오픈소스 기반의 개발 보드인 라즈베리파이를 중심으로, 온도, 습도, 조도, 미세먼지 센서, 이산화탄소, 일산화탄소, 산소, 이산화질소, 아황산가스, 메탄가스, GPS, 고도 측정, IR 카메라, 카메라 모듈 센서 등 다양한 센서를 탑재하여 구성한다. 기존 드론은 주로 방역 및 방제 활동에 활용되었으나, 그 활동의 효과를 정밀하게 측정하고 분석하는 데에는 한계가 있었다. 그러나 이 논문에서 제안하는 임베디드 기반의 센서 구성은 이러한 한계를 극복할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

  • 'UAS flight recording system' is a system that is mounted on an unmanned aircraft system consisting of various components and records flight-related data. The data recorded by this system should be used for aviation accident and incident investigations to prevent similar accidents. In particular, for the category of UAS with high operating risk, safety devices close to that of manned aircraft are required, and it is urgent to develop flight recording systems reflecting the characteristics of the UAS to secure airworthiness. This paper highlights the need for UAS flight recording systems for aviation accident and incident investigations and seek a method to derive flight recording system parameters for 'Certified Category' with high operational risk. To this end, Inter-City UAM was used as a concrete use case, and the process of approaching system parameters was devised by assuming accident occurrences and hazards from mission profiles and scenarios. As a result of the study, it was confirmed that parameters could be derived through this process.

  • Flight data recorder is a equipment that records data required for investigation of aircraft accidents and should be developed in compliance with the ED-112A standard. Unlike general data storage device, flight data recorder must be able to recover data after an aircraft accident, requiring a housing and a memory board to protect data in extreme environments. To attain this performance, we designed a housing that can withstand the test by analyzing the physical environment of the impact, shear/tensile, penetration resistance and static crush test of the crash survival test and minimized the size and weight compared to the existing one in consideration of the installation of the aircraft in this paper. Insulation material and thermal block material were applied to endure high and low temperature fire so that the internal temperature does not rise above 150℃ even in 260℃, 10 hour environment. In addition, the memory board is designed to minimize the size and we devise a hoping programming method to prevent continuous data loss of more than 16 seconds. Through this, Crash protected memory module that satisfies ED-112A was completed.

  • 2010년 06월 09일 소형위성발사체의 비행시험을 준비 하던 중 화재확산방지 장치가 오작동 하는 사고가 발생 하였다. 이 사고로 소화수 100톤과 소화약제 3톤이 분출 되었고, 소형위성발사체의 비행시험은 하루 지연 되었다. 오작동의 직접적 원인은 제어기 부분의 오작동으로 판단되어, 관련 제어기 및 통신라인 부품들을 모두 교체하고, 발사통제동과 발사대간의 통신선로도 이중화 하였다. 아울러 제어기의 입출력 신호를 실시간으로 기록하기 위한 장비도 추가로 설치하여 전반적인 설비의 신뢰도를 높였다.
