웹서비스 기술이 발전함에 따라 분산환경의 웹기반 서비스들을 조합한 복잡한 비즈니스 프로세스를 구현할 수 있게 되었다. 이러한 비즈니스 프로세스는 일반적으로 비즈니스 활동(activity)들의 순서와 로직을 포함딴 이벤트 기반 모델(event-driven model)로 표현되고 있다. 하지만 비즈니스 활동을 수행하기 위해서는 불특정 다수의 대안 서비스들 중 하나를 런타임-바인딩(runtime binding)하여 해당 비즈니스 활동을 수행해야 하는 경우가 빈번히 일어나는데. 이는 기존의 이벤트 기반 모델링 기법만을 이용해서 해결하기 어렵다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 비즈니스 프로세스를 동적으로 통합할 수 있도록 상태 기반 협상 모델링(state-,driven brokering modeling SDBM)을 기존 모델링 기법에 확장한 아키텍쳐를 제안한다. SDBM은 이벤트 기반 모델링에서 표현하기 힘든 대안 서비스들의 동적 런타임-바인딩을 가능하게 하는데. 이는 대화 정잭(conversation policy)을 구현함으로써 가능해 진다. 본 논문에서는 핵심 비즈니스 프로세스에 독립적이며 웹기반의 분산 비즈니스 프로세스 간의 유연한 통합과 자동화된 협업을 수행랄 수 있는 확장된 메커니즘을 웹서비스 기술로 구현하였다.

BPEL4WS는 이기종의 시스템을 사용하는 사내 조직뿐만 아니라 협력 업체 및 고객 전반에 걸쳐 비즈니스 프로세스를 통합해준다 통합된 비즈니스 프로세스 관리는 이질적인 수행환경 극복, 기업 간 프로세스 자동화, 프로세스에 대한 모니터링 및 관리, 비즈니스 트랜잭션 관리, 파트너 상태에 대한 관리가 필요하다. 하지만 비즈니스 프로세스, 비즈니스 트랜잭션, 파트너 상태에 대한 관리에 대한 연구가 미흡하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 통합 프로세스 모니터링 시스템을 제안함으로서, 프로세스 관리자에게 비즈니스 진행상태에 대한 가시성을 제공하고, 신뢰성 있는 웹 서비스를 위한 트랜잭션을 관리해 주며, 예외 처리를 위한 파트너들의 모니터링 기능을 제공한다.

비즈니스 프로세스 관리(BPM)는 프로세스의 모델링, 분석, 실행에 이르는 비즈니스 프로세스 전 라이프 사이클을 지원하고자 하는 개념으로, 급변하는 경영 환경의 변화에서 기업의 경쟁력을 재고하기 위하여 필요로 되는 새로운 기업 컴퓨팅 패러다임이다. 비즈니스 프로세스 관리의 개념을 도입함으로써 기업들은 조직의 프로세스를 능동적이고 빠르게 (재)설계하고 수행할 수 있으며, 기업간 M&A 및 전략적 제휴를 효율적으로 수행할 수 있다. 기업간 협업이 이루어지기 위해서는 그들 간의 프로세스의 교류 및 통합이 필수적이다. 통합의 한 수단으로 여러 프로세스에 관련된 Data들을 Rule의 형태로 표현하여 관리할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 워크플로, BPMS 등의 환경에서 비즈니스 Rule을 포함하는 비즈니스 프로세스 수행시에 관리해야 할 제약조건을 통합 관리할 수 있는 방법론을 제시한다. 비즈니스 프로세스를 수행하면서 체크해야 할 제약조건들을 규명한후 이들을 표현할 수 있는 프로세스 기반의 트리거 모델을 제시한다. 또한 본 방법론의 실현 가능성을 보여주기 위해 예제와 함께 프로토타입 시스템을 구현하였고 Performance 측면에서는 제한적이기는 하지만 DB에 기반한 제약조건 관리방법과의 비교를 통해서 본 연구에서 제안하고 있는 방법의 우수성을 보여준다. 본 연구에서 제안하는 방법론은 Workflow 및 BPMS와 같은 프로세스 관리 시스템에서 통합의 수단으로 사용되고 있는 EAI 등을 보완해 줄수 있는 툴로써 활용가능하리라 기대된다.

프로세스 통합을 사용하면 이질적인 시스템과 조직에서 비즈니스 프로세스를 모델링하고 자동화할 수 있다. 프로세스 통합은 흔히 B2B 거래소 연결, 제품과 서비스의 온라인 구매, 고객 정보의 표준화, 또는 새로 구입한 애플리케이션 통합 따위의 많은 비즈니스와 기술 정처의 핵심이다. 통합 프로세스는 비즈니스 전략의 구현을 보다 용이하게 한다는 것이다. 현재에는 기업 내부의 프로세스 통합은 많이 이루어지고 있으며, 기업과 기업간의 데이터 전송을 위한 방법들이 많이 연구되고 있다. 피러나 기업과 기업간의 통합을 이루기 위해서는 데이터 통합뿐만 아니라 프로세스 통합을 이루어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 기업간 프로세스 통합을 위하여 BPML과 XPDL 상호간의 운용성을 연구하였으며, 차후에 이를 구현할 프로그램을 개발할 것이다.

To survive in rapidly changing business environment, the enterprise should adapt its business process to the changing environment. The system integration is an important issue to tackle this challenge. It is unavoidable direction that SOA(Service Oriented Architecture) is accepted as an upcoming IT standard to support flexible business processes and integration. In particular, the integration of business processes and interfaces are important. Therefore, intuitive and easy to implement business process modeling is required. In this paper analyzes business process between enterprises, modeling the service-oriented business process with BPEL to realization level. Also, In this paper suggests that UML is used from high-level business problems to the process of low-level problem for Visual and effectively.

BPEL4WS와 같은 웹 서비스 프로세스 설계 언어의 사용은 기업으로 하여금 자동 실행되는 비즈니스 프로세스를 설계, 실행할 수 있게 하였으나, 종전의 워크플로우와 자동 실행 프로세스를 동시에 지원하지 못하는 한계를 가진다. 또한 B2B 협업에 있어서 각 기업에서 제공하는 웹 서비스들의 입력과 출력, 행동 단위가 다를 수밖에 없기 때문에 동일한 목적을 지닌 프로세스라 하더라도 파트너에 따라 상이하게 설계될 수밖에 없는 문제를 지니고 있다. 본 연구에서는 위와 같은 문제들을 해결하기 위해, 비즈니스 프로세스를 기업내 워크플로우 프로세스와 자동 실행가능한 프로세스, 기업간 협업 프로세스의 세 가지로 분류하고, 이들을 통합적으로 설계하는 비즈니스 프로세스 모델링 방법론을 제안한다. 본 연구를 통해 비즈니스 프로세스 설계자는 기업내 워크플로우와 자동 실행 가능한 프로세스를 통합적으로 설계할 수 있으며, 각 파트너에 대해 동일하게 사용되는 협업 프로세스를 설계할 수 있게 될것으로 기대된다.

분산 정보 통합 시스템(DIIS) 프로젝트는 기업집합환경 하에서 운영되고 있는 분산된 이기종의 비즈니스 정보 시스템들을 물리적 통합이 아닌 논리적으로 통합함으로써 사용자 의사 결정을 지원하는데 필요한 통합정보를 웹 기반으로 제고하는데 목표를 두고 있다. 이 프로젝트는 하나의 중앙 집중적인 데이터베이스를 구축하는 것이 아니기 때문에 , 분산된 이기종의 각 시스템의 데이터 모델이나 데이터베이스 스키마 구조를 전혀 변경할 필요가 없다. 우리는 소프트웨어 시스템을 개발할 때 하나의 비즈니스 표준인 UML을 확장한 방법론인 EPEM을 DIIS에 적용함으로써, DIIS의 핵심 관리자인 Query Mediation Manager 프로세스와Query Processing Manager 프로세스에 대해 비즈니스 프로세스 모델링하였고, 또한 디자인된 프로세스와 추출된 패키지 사이에 상호작용을 전체적으로 표현하기 위해 어셈블리 라인 다이어그램을 모델링하였다.

인터넷의 발달로 인해 조직 안의 마케팅, 광고, 조달, 판매, 서비스 제품 기획 등의 각 부분들간의 전자상거래와 조직간의 전자상거래, 그리고 빠르게 변화하는 기회를 잡기 위해 모인 기업의 컨소시엄의 형태인 가상기업에 대한 관심이 고조되고 있다. 이러한 조직내/조직간의 전자상거래와 가상기업에서 수행되어야 하는 비즈니스 프로세스를 통합, 향상시키기 위한 활동이 웍플로우 시스템이다. 웍플로우 관리 시스템은 기업의 비즈니스 프로세스를 정의하고 수행하며, 이를 추적하고 리엔지리어링한다. 하지만, 비즈니스 프로세스는 오랜 수행 기간과 복잡한 비즈니스 규칙등으로 인해 정확하고 신뢰적으로 수행하는 데에 많은 어려움을 가지며, 따라서 웍플로우 관리시스템은 비즈니스 프로세스의 자동화 및 개선을 위해서 작업 수행의 정확성과 신뢰성을 제공할 수 있어야 한다. 본 논문은 Event-Condition-Action(ECA) 규칙을 사용하여 비즈니스 프로세스를 올바르고 신뢰도 있게 정의ㆍ수행ㆍ분석ㆍ개선할 수 있는 트랜잭션의 지원을 위한 통합적이고 체계적인 프레임워크를 제시하고자 한다. 또한 웍플로우 모델과 그에 수반되는 오류 모델을 함께 제시하고 Petri Net으로 비즈니스 프로세스를 분석하는 방법론을 제시하고자 한다.

The advance of information technology has changed the business environment, and the business process between the trading partners has been evolved with these changes. However, the business process between trading partners requires human interface for interchanging information or making a decision even though they collaborate each other or are coupled tightly, and this interrupts seamless business processes between them. To overcome this limitations, a new concept of self-integration has been emerged. The self-integration means a true integration among enterprise applications without human interface, and it might be the future direction of integrations. In this study, we introduced the concept of self-integration environment and business process model for supply chain planning. And, we analyzed the negotiation processes and classified the negotiation patterns for integrated supply chain planning in self-integration environment, and then we proposed a generic business process model for negotiation of extended and integrated supply chain planning by integrating the suggested negotiation pattern with business scenarios.

E-business automates overall activities in a company and allows distributed systems to communicate their information. The automation and information sharing improves its productivity and responsiveness. B2B workflow systems progress their business processes electronically and help the companies to monitor their execution and administrate the processes. This research analyzes the technologies and standards for B2B workflow integration, and proposes three approaches to implement effectively workflow integration. We analyze several existing workflow standards and business process definition languages, and compare their structures and features. And we examine the messaging technologies and architectures to implement business integration. Finally we extract a reference model for B2B workflow integration, and propose three types of workflow integration and implementation designs. This research helps companies to understand the workflow standards and the messaging technologies for B2B workflow integration, and to implement workflow integration systems that are suitable for their e-business environments.
