Recent Advances in the Use of Enzymes for Environment-Friendly Swine Diets (환경친화성양돈사료를 위한 효소제 사용의 최근 경향)

  • Exogenous enzymes which, for the purpose of this paper, include phytase, $\beta$-glucanase, pentosanase and $\alpha$-galactosidase, are now extensively used throughout the world as aditives in swine diets. The chemical effects of these enzymes are well understand. However, the manner in which their benefits to the swine are brought about is still under debate. Phytase was to increase the availability of plant phytate phosphorus, which reduces phosphorus pollution and allows reductions in the amount of inorganic phosphate used. Also, enzymes have been discovered which have the potential to break down deleterious compounds commonly found in swine rations such as $\beta$-glucanase contained in barley and oats and the soluble pentosans found in rye and wheat thus increasing the digestibility of these non-starch polysaccharides. Future research in these area will allow for more efficient use of the current enzymes, development of more efficient future products and development of more thermotolerant enzymes.

  • 대한인쇄정보기술협회와 월간 인쇄계가 주최한 제4회 국제인쇄기술컨퍼런스가 지난 7월 11일 서울 소피텔앰배서더호텔에서 인쇄 및 관련업계 관계자 300여명이 참석한 가운데 열렸다. 이날 컨퍼런스는 오성상 신구대학 교수의 진행으로 이어졌다. '드루파 2008을 통해 본 인쇄산업시장의 전망'을 주제로 열린 이번 컨퍼런스에서 김진배 대한 인쇄기술협회 회장은 인사말을 통해 "4회째를 맞은 국제인쇄기술컨퍼런스는 인쇄 각 분야 전문가들의 경험과 노하우를 공유하고 전 세계 인쇄산업의 최신 기술과 정보를 교류하는 기회의 장으로 인쇄기술의 발전에 기여해 왔다"며, "지금 인쇄산업은 미디어와의 융합을 통해 새로운 가치를 창조해내고 있어 이제 더 이상 인쇄가 고전적인 가치에만 머물러 있지 않다는 것을 의미 한다"고 말했다. 김 회장은 이어 "인쇄산업은 기존의 수준에만 머물러 있어서는 안 되며 전 세계적인 변화의 추세에 발맞춰 철저한 준비와 노력이 필요할 뿐 아니라 새로운 비전을 찾을 수 있도록 인쇄산업인 모두의 지혜를 모으는 데 힘을 쏟아야 할 것"이라고 말했다. 이어진 인사말에서 안정웅 월간인쇄계 발행인은 "이번 제4회 국제인쇄기술컨퍼런스는 각 인쇄분야에 있어 더욱 깊은 기술동향 정보를 제공할 것이며 드루파 이후 향후 4년 동안 인쇄산업을 이끌어 나갈 제품과 그 기술들을 만나보고 향방을 점쳐보는 기회가 될 것"이라고 말했다. 홍우동 대한인쇄문화협회 회장은 축사를 통해 "대내외적인 어려움에 직면해 있는 인쇄업계가 어려움을 극복하기 위해 인쇄인은 물론 기자재 공급업체와 언론계, 인쇄단체가 하나 된 마음으로 난관 극복을 위한 지혜를 발휘해야 할 때"라며 "올해부터 발효되고 있는 인쇄문화산업진흥법에 근거해 인쇄문화산업진흥위원회가 활동하는 한편으로 대한인쇄문화협회를 중심으로 정부와 국회가 머리를 맞대고 인쇄업계 발전을 위한 대책을 마련하고 있으며 특히 인쇄종주국으로써 세계적으로 빛나는 우리나라의 인쇄문화 유산과 세계인쇄 사료를 한 그릇에 담을 수 있는 가칭 '세계인쇄문화박물관'건립을 추진하고 있다"고 말했다.

Science and Technology Innovation Policy for Solving Social Problems in Korea: Transformative Innovation Policy Perspective ('전환적 혁신정책'의 관점에서 본 사회문제 해결형 R&D정책: '제2차 과학기술기반 사회문제 해결 종합계획'을 중심으로)

  • This research examines the characteristics of the newly emerging 'transformative innovation policy' and discusses the current status and issues of the Korean social problem solving R & D policy. Transformative innovation policy is a new paradigm that aims to transform socio-technical systems to address societal challenges. In this study, we analyzed 'the policy plan for solving social problems based on science and technology'. In the "Policy Plan", efforts are being made to establish new direction of science and technological innovation activities such as emphasis on social values, network formation of innovation actors, and spreading of social impact. But in this "Policy Plan", the perspective of transformative innovation policy is weakly reflected. The Policy Plan refers to system improvement that adds new elements to existing system, but it is not discussing system transformation. In order to develop social problem solving R & D policy from the viewpoint of the transformative innovation policy, it is necessary to construct the innovation platform deliberating vision and prospect for the socio-technical transformation.

  • Korean automobile industry has been slow down since 2016. The most fundamental solution for solving this problem is to develop competitive parts. There are two important factors for developing competitive parts. The most important is product design technology, and the second most important is production technology. Production technology is important because it requires lowering the production cost except for the material cost and continuously maintaining the quality. In this paper, an intelligent smart inspection system is proposed and designed to inspect automobile parts of company C. At present, the basic and detailed design of this system has been completed and it is in the development progress stage. If the system is successfully developed, it is expected that the quality inspection stage of company C will be automated and the defect rate will be reduced.

  • Recently, the distribution of drones is being activated by saving farmers' working time and protecting them from harmful human bodies from pesticides due to the mission of spraying pesticides using drones. It is possible to compensate for various shortcomings derived from the existing pesticide spraying method, wide-area control and helicopter control. Recently, the smart farm expansion policy has actively used it to generate profits for farmers by increasing harvests by monitoring growth information of various crops based on IoT in real time and collecting big data on key variables, and related drone industry technologies are also being developed. In this study, drones were applied to the work of shading greenhouses to secure diversity in agricultural application fields, and basic research on the greenhouse environment was conducted to materialize the technology related to shading. In order to provide high-quality light in consideration of the internal and external environment of the green house, basic research was conducted to enable light-shielding missions using drones through nozzle design for uniform spraying of nozzles of drones, light-transmitting rate analysis of green houses, and light-shielding agent application experiments.

  • Oxo molybdenum (V) complexes of substituted 8-quinolinols were synthesized and characterized by means of the investigation of elemental analysis, infrared spectra, electron spectra, electric conductivity and mass spectrometry compared with oxo molybdenum (VI) complexes. Oxo molybdenum(V) complexes were nonelectrolyte and one strong band of stretching mode of molybdenum and terminal oxygen appeared approximately $940cm^{-1}$. Oxo molybdenum(VI) complexes gave two peaks corresponding molybdenum containing ions, a molecular ion (I) of a 2 : 1 (ligand : metal) chelate and a fragment ion (II) of a 1:1 chelate due to the loss of ligand radical from ion (I). Molybdenum(V) complexes were observed the fragment ion(II) of a 1 : 1 chelate partly. The electronic spectra corresponding to d-d transition and charge transfer transition were observed and interpreted.

  • 일반적으로 통신 산업에서 기술혁신은 매우 활발하게 이루어지는 반면 조직혁신은 상대적으로 미진하게 진행된다. 왜냐하면 조직혁신은 사업전략의 변화와 달리 변화의 도입과정을 거쳐 정착단계에 이르기까지 많은 비용과 시간이 소요되는 과정이기 때문이다. 그러나 조직혁신 과정이 많은 비용과 시간이 소요된다고 할지라고 급변하는 환경 변화 하에서 기업의 비전을 효율적으로 달성하기 위해서는 기업의 사업목표에 적합한 조직구조와 문화의 정착이 선결되어야 한다. 따라서 본 연구는 조직혁신에 관한 이론 및 모형 고찰을 통하여 통신사업자의 바람직한 조직혁신 방안을 도출하고자 하는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다. 이를 위해 조직혁신 분석 모형을 개발하고, 이 모형을 통해 통신사업자의 조직${\cdot}$구성원 ${\cdot}$기업문화 등의 혁신을 위한 방안을 도출하였다는 점에서 그 의의가 있다고 하겠다. 그러나 통신 사업자들을 위한 성공적 조직혁신 방안이 다른 산업 분야의 조직혁신 방안과 뚜렷한 차별화를 보이지 못하고 있다는 점과 통신 사업자들을 대상으로 하는 실증적 분석이 제대로 이루어지지 못했다는 점에서 그 한계점이 있다고 하겠다. 향후 본 연구를 기반으로 하는 연구에서는 좀 더 구체적인 통신 사업자들을 위한 차별화된 전략적 대안 및 구체적 실행 방안 도출이 요구되며, 주요 통신 사업자들을 대상으로 하는 내부설문 등을 통해 사업자의 구성원들이 필요로 하는 조직혁신 방안을 도출할 필요가 있다.

  • Image segmentation is one of the important processes in the image information extraction for computer vision systems. The fuzzy clustering methods have been extensively used in the image segmentation because it extracts feature information of the region. Most of fuzzy clustering methods have used the Fuzzy C-means(FCM) algorithm. This algorithm can be misclassified about the different size of cluster because the degree of membership depends on highly the distance between data and the centroids of the clusters. This paper proposes a fuzzy clustering algorithm using the Average Intracluster Distance that classifies data uniformly without regard to the size of data sets. The Average Intracluster Distance takes an average of the vector set belong to each cluster and increases in exact proportion to its size and density.   • Heat transfer equation is first reviewed and then governing equation of moisture diffusion. Analogy scheme is applied to analysis the moisture absorption problem of polymers. It make possible to numerically analyze the diffusion problem for single medium by using commercial finite element code if it is under the isothermal loading condition. It is extended to special multimaterial system by introducing pressure ratio function, whose moisture characteristics of materials are proportional to temperature only. The weight changes of silicon-nonconductive-polymer joint model due to moisture absorption is measured and been very close to the numerical results as for single media with boundary condition with zero concentration, but yields numerical errors as for multisystem media.

  • Eosinophilic lung diseases are heterogenous disorder which are characterized by the presence of pulmonary symptoms or an abnormal chest radiograph accompanied by inflammatory cellular infiltrates in the airways and lung parenchyma which contain large numbers of eosinophils. The incidence of drug-induced pulmonary disorder is increasing, with at least 40 drug entities having been reported to cause this pulmonary disease. However, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are rarely mentioned in the lists of drugs in published articles describing drug induced eosinophilic pneumonia. The following is a case of eosinophilic pneumonia that we believe was related to ibuprofen therapy.
