An Exploratory Study on Institutional Commitment of C-University Students (C대학교 대학생의 대학 몰입에 관한 탐색적 논의)

  • The purpose of this study is to pave the way to promote the institutional commitment of the students enrolled by identifying the factors that affects on their institutional commitment. The data collection was conducted starting from November 19, 2020 until November 26, 2020 by using online questionnaires and 220 participants were from C-university students in Chang-won, Kyung-nam Province. As a result of analysis, the average score for institutional commitment was 3.30, the average level of satisfaction of university life was 3.62, the cultural climate was 3.39 and the level of satisfaction for extracurricular program was 3.48, which was in high range. Institutional commitment has a positive correlation between the level of satisfaction of university life, the level of satisfaction for extracurricular programs(p<.001). The most critical factor that affects the institutional commitment was the level of satisfaction of university life and the level of satisfaction for extracurricular programs, the cultural climate in order. The result can be interpreted that institutional commitment is influenced by students' major and the level of satisfaction of university life and the level of satisfaction for extracurricular programs, and the level of satisfaction of university life has relatively high level of influence out of other factors, indicating that the effort to improve the institutional commitment of the students is needed at the collegiate level.

Comparison of Visitor Characteristics in Recreational Forests and Arboretums (자연휴양림과 수목원 방문객의 이용특성 비교 연구)

  • This study was conducted with the aim of comparing and analyzing the relationship between visitors' characteristics and service satisfaction, overall satisfaction and loyalty (revisit intention, recommendation intention) of recreational forests and arboretums. The main results are as follows. First, the scores given for service satisfaction, overall satisfaction, and loyalty of the users of the recreational forests were all higher than those given by the visitors to arboretums, and the service satisfaction level was relatively different from that of the overall satisfaction level or loyalty of the users. Second, the service satisfaction level of the recreational forests did not affect the overall satisfaction level and visitor loyalty, whereas the service satisfaction level of the arboretum was found to be positively correlated with the overall satisfaction level and visitor loyalty. The results are meaningful given that the visitors to recreational forests and arboretums are distributed throughout the country; thus, we confirmed that there are differences in visitor characteristics between the two types of forest recreation areas. In order to differentiate operation strategies for each type of forest recreation areas, the development of common survey items covering the entire set of services provided by forest recreation areas is needed. In addition, it would be advantageous to further develop and modularize the relevant items and conduct surveys in parallel with common survey items, as the service contents are operated selectively to function in accordance with the purpose of creating each forest recreation area.

The Impact of College Students' Self-directedness, College Immersion, and Satisfaction with Extracurricular Activities on Career Preparation (대학생의 자기주도성, 대학몰입, 비교과 만족이 진로준비에 미치는 영향)

  • This study aims to discuss ways needed to prepare their careers through relations between the personal internal factors perceived by college students in the process of career preparation and the external factors they experience during college life. To this end, the study conducted not only a questionnaire survey of 927 students at K University in Seoul but also hierarchical multiple regression analysis, independent two sample t-test, and one-way ANOVA (analysis of variance). The study set career preparation as a dependent variable, presented research models in four steps, and the explanatory power of each model was statistically significant. According to the findings of the study, both Model 1 and Model 2, gender had a significant impact on career preparation. Also, when self-directedness was added to Model 2, self-directedness had a greater impact on career preparation than gender did. When satisfaction with extracurricular activities was added to Model 3, this factor turned out to be helpful for career preparation. When college immersion, or a sense of belonging to college, was added to Model 4, the higher the sense of belonging students perceived, the more helpful they felt it for their career preparations. This study is expected to be helpful in preparing a policy to support college students' career preparation by grasping the relations between the personal characteristics of college students and career-related activities and college immersion they experience during college life.

A Phenomenological Study on the Meaning of College Life of Extracurricular Activities Engagement of Students Majoring in Aviation Service (항공서비스학과 비교과 참여 학생의 대학 생활 의미에 관한 현상학적 연구)

  • This study aims to investigate the essential meaning of college life based on understanding the lived experiences while participating in the extracurricular programs. This study was designed according to Giorgi's phenomenological research method to comprehend and grasp the meaning of the essential experience of each individual. Data collection for this study was conducted by a semi-structured in-depth interview with 6 participants who had engaged in the extracurricular program delivered by the department of Aviation Services. This study suggests that the experiential attributes of engaging in extracurricular classes and the meaning of involving extracurricular activities were derived into four themes each. The finding discovers that the meaning of college life including, 'improve in satisfaction of college life', 'various college life', 'memories of college life', and 'motivation for college life'. The conclusion to be drawn here is that the experience of participating in various extracurricular programs was shown to be a path of transitional process of personal growth. The significance of this study is that it revealed the extracurricular activities added a new meaning to their college life based on the interviewee's lived experience.

Cross-sector Job Mobility and Job Satisfaction Change among College Graduates (신규대졸자의 비영리영역과 영리영역 간 직업이동과 직무만족 변화)

  • Little research has empirically examined cross-sector job mobility between non-profit and for-profit sector despite the rise and increased importance of this phenomenon in Korea. Using the panel data of Graduates Occupational Mobility Survey(GOMS) by the Korea Employment Information Service, this study attempts to examine changes in job satisfaction(overall score and 10 facet scores) associated with four types(retention at non-profits, turnover from non-profits to for-profits, turnover from for-profits to non-profits, and retention at for-profits) of cross-sector job mobility among college graduates by employing a first difference model. Major results reveal that (1) in the group of retention at non-profits, 'overall job satisfaction' is consistently higher; (2) in the group of retention at non-profits, negative change in 'overall job satisfaction' is the largest; (3) in the group of 'for-profits to non-profits,' negative change in 'stability of employment' is the smallest; (3) in the group of 'non-profits to for-profits,' negative change in 'job contents' is the smallest; (4) in the group of 'non-profits to for-profits,' negative change in 'weekly work hours' is the largest; (5) in the group of retention at non-profits, negative change in 'potential growth & development' is the largest; and (6) in the group of retention at non-profits, negative change in 'social reputation' is the smallest;. This study has made a start in a new area of inquiring attempting to explain cross-sector job mobility and raises implications for future research.

Differences in Factors of Subjective Well-Being between Children who are raised at their own homes and those raised at the residential institutions (시설아동과 일반아동의 행복요인 차이)

  • This study focused on differences in factors of subjective well-being between children who are raised at their own homes and those raised at the residential institutions. This study used two kinds of data sets, one from survey on subjective well-being of children in residential care supported by National Research Foundation of Korea, the other from survey on children's subjective well-being in Korea conducted by Social welfare research center in Seoul National University and Save the Children Korea. The results are as follows; There are no significant difference statistically between children raised at their own homes and children raised at residential institutions in children's subjective well-being, satisfaction with him/herself, and satisfaction with school. However, there is higher satisfaction with family in children raised at their own homes. On the other hand, there is higher satisfaction with community in children raised at residential institutions. There are difference factors effect on children's subjective well-being between the two groups. Most of all, satisfaction with him/herself is very important factor to improve children's subjective well-being in residential care.

  • 최근 전자상거래를 위해 개발되는 대부분의 쇼핑에이전트들은 고객의 선호도를 고려하지 않은 일차원적인 비교, 예를 들어 가격비교 기능만을 가지고 있다. 이러한 일차원적 비교는 다양한 상품 특성을 고려할 수가 없다. 고객이 상품을 구매할 때 만족을 얻지 못하는 것은 그들이 서로 다른 성향을 가지고 있기 때문이다. 따라서 고객에게 가치 있는 상품 정보를 제공할 수 있는 지능형 쇼핑에이전트의 개발이 전자상거래에서 요구된다. 본 논문에서 우리는 다차원 비교쇼핑을 지원하는 지능형 쇼핑에이전트를 제안한다. 이것은 다양한 고객 선호도에 따른 고객의 요구에 부합되도록 한다. 고객의 선호도를 예측하기 위해서 쇼핑에이전트는 고객으로부터의 피드백과 트랜잭션 정보를 분석한다. 그리고 다음 구매를 위해 고객 선호도를 재 산정한다. 이러한 지능형 쇼핑에이전트는 고객 선호도의 변화에 능동적으로 적응해야 한다. 본 연구의 대상 상품은 책이다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 쇼핑에이전트는 서로 다른 선호도를 가진 각각의 고객에 대해서 유용한 결과를 보인다. 이러한 실험을 통해 우리는 고객 선호도의 변화를 확인할 수 있다.

Comparative Analysis of Economic Life Satisfaction of Wife and Hosband -Concentrated on Subjective Evaluation of Economic Level and Household Managerial behaviors- (부부의 경제생활 만족도 비교분석 -주관적 경제수준 평가와 가계관리행동을 중심으 로-)

  • 본연구는 부부의 경제생활 만족도를 파악하기 위하여 가정의 사회인구학적 변인과 가정의 경제환경에 대한 지각정된 주관적 경제수준 평가 및 부부가 참여하는 가계관리 행동 변인들이 부부의 가정의 경제생활 만족도에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 검증하여 비교 분석 하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 조사대상자는 서울시 거주의 1자녀 이상을 둔 부부로서 500쌍의 설문지 중 367쌍이 본 연구자료로 사용되었다. 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과같다. 남편의 경 제생활 만족도에 여향을 미치는 변인은 소득 적정감 자원 지각도, 상대적 비교감, 자원기여 평가도 경제소준 향상감, 가계관리 참여도, 월평균 가계속득이었으며 부인의 경우에는 소득 적정감 상대적 비교감 자원기여 평가도 자가주택 소유여부 남편의 직업으로 나타났다 남편 과 부인 모두의 경제생활 만족도에 대한 예측력이 가장 큰 변인은 소득 적정감으로 나타났 다 부부의 경제생활 만족도는 주관적 경제수준 평가의 영향력이 사회인구학적 변인의 영향 력보다 상대적으로 큰 것으로 나타났다.

  • 문서 표절이 사회적으로 이슈가 됨에 따라 표절 문서를 판별할 수 있는 시스템의 필요성이 대두되었다. 문서 표절 검사 시스템에서 가장 중요한 이슈는 성능과 속도인데 이 두 가지를 모두 만족시키기 위해서는 표절을 상세하게 검사하기 전에 표절 의심 문서에 대한 비교 문서군이 크기를 최적화하여 표절 검사 범위를 최대한 작게 만들어야 한다. 비교 문서군의 크기를 최적화하기 위해서는 표절 의심 문서와 상관이 없는 문서를 필터링 하는 작업이 필요하다. 이 논문에서는 문서를 빠르게 필터링 하기 위해서 웹 문서 검색에 사용되는 Inverted Index을 이용하여 적당한 시간 안에 비교 문서군의 크기를 최적화 하는 방법들을 알아보고 각각의 방법들의 성능을 비교 분석하는 방법을 제시하며 그 방법들을 바탕으로 성능을 분석하여 최적화된 문서 필터링 방법을 알아본다.

  • 본 논문에서는 퍼지숫자를 정렬하는 새로운 방법을 제안한다. 제안하는 방법은 사용자의 관심도나 선호도를 반영할 수 있는 방법을 제공하며, 퍼지숫자의 전체적인 가능성분포를 고려하는 평가함수를 방법은 사용자가 제사한 퍼지 집합과 만족도 함수(satisfaction fuction)를 이용하여 정렬 대상이 되는 퍼지숫자를 평가한 후 그 평가값에 따라서 순위를 정하게 된다. 만족도 함수는 두 퍼지숫자의 비교를 위해서 이전에 제안된 방법으로 퍼지숫자의 전체적인 가능성을 고려하는 특징이 있다. 본 논문에서는 제안하는 방법을 퍼지숫자 정렬에 적용한 예와 기존의 방법과 비교한 결과를 보이며, 응용 예로서 의사결정의 문제에 적용한 결과를 제시한다.
