An Expanded Small Diamond Search Algorithm for Fast Block Motion Estimation (확장된 작은 다이아몬드 패턴을 이용한 고효율의 움직임 추정 알고리즘)

  • 본 논문에서는 다이아몬드 탐색(diamond search, DS)과 효율적인 3 단계 탐색(efficient three-step search, E3SS) 등의 블록 정합 기법(block matching algorithm, BMA)들에서 이용된 작은 다이아몬드(small diamond) 패턴을 광역 탐색에 적합하도록 확장시킨 고속의 움직임 추정 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안된 알고리즘에서는 탐색 윈도우(search window)의 중앙으로부터 설치된 정사각형 패턴의 크기가 내부에서 대수적으로 감소되며 작은 다이아몬드 탐색(small diamond search, SDS) 기법에 의해 탐색이 완료된다. 실험 결과는 제안된 알고리즘이 DS 보다 평균 3개의 탐색 점을 더 적게 사용하고 E3SS에 비하여 약 5개 정도의 탐색 점 수에 대한 이득을 보이지만 움직임 추정상의 정확도는 다른 고속 BMA들과 거의 동일한 수준을 유지하는 것으로 확인된다.

Real-Time Stereoscopic Image Conversion Using Motion Detection and Region Segmentation (움직임 검출과 영역 분할을 이용한 실시간 입체 영상 변환)

  • In this paper we propose real-time cocersion methods that can convert into stereoscopic image using depth map that is formed by motion detection extracted from 2-D moving image and region segmentation separated from image. Depth map which represents depth information of image and the proposed absolute parallax image are used as the measure of qualitative evaluation. We have compared depth information, parallax processing, and segmentation between objects with different depth for proposed and conventional method. As a result, we have confirmed the proposed method can offer realistic stereoscopic effect regardless of direction and velocity of moving object for a moving image.

  • This paper suggests the system for searching and application is to be in combination between existing hair art area and Image/Video processing area. This proposed system usually saves various hair types into a database, then, users send images of their face over the internet by using WebCam. Finally, they can find the hair types for users. Hair cutting is technology that form draft to make hair style. Man cut must decide how in image of sinciput, image of side bean curd, after lower image must operate. Silhouette is produced as is different by change of this three places. Customer increases in the beauty salon and beauty salon chain being changed, research about beauty art is necessary point of time. In this treatise, our country of when swim and operate haircut about problem that happen sample survey and analysis.

A Full- Search Block-Matching Algorithm With Early Retirement of Processing Elements (단위 처리기를 조기 은퇴시키는 완전탐색 블록정합 알고리듬)

  • In this paper, we propose a full-search block-matching algorithm with early retirement, which can be applied to a 1-D systolic array of processing elements (PE's) for fast motion estimation. In the proposed algorithm, a PE is retired when its current accumulated sum is equal to or larger than the current minimum MAD. If all PE's are retired, the MAD calculation is stopped for the current array position and is started for the next one in the search window. Simulation results show that the optimum motion vector is always found with less computation, the total computation cycles for motion estimation are decreased to about 60%, and the power dissipation in the PE's is reduced to about 40-60%.

  • 동영상을 효율적으로 압축하기 위한 움직임백터 예측에 관한 많은 연구가 진행되어 왔다. 가장 일반적인 FBMA(Full search-based Block Matching Algorithm)는 화질은 좋지만 계량이 많기 때문에 실시간 인코딩을 요구하는 시스템에서 사용하는데 문제가 있다. 좋은 화질을 유지하면서 인코딩 속도를 해결하기 위한 많은 알고리즘들이 제안되어 왔지만 ASIC이나 소형 시스템에서 사용할 수 있는 방법이 계속 요구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 계산량을 더욱 줄여 속도향상을 위한 방법인 TSWS(Two-Step search With Subsampling method) 제안하였다. TSWS는 블록정합알고리즘에 기반을 두고 있으며, 서브샘플링한 값으로 움직임 벡터를 찾는다. TSWS를 사용하였을 때 기존 방법들이 제공하는 주관적 화질이나 PSNR을 어느 정도 유지하면서도 속도를 20-30% 정도 개선시킬 수 있다.

  • 객체 중심점에서 움직임을 추정하고 보상하여 빠르게 움직이는 객체의 윤곽선을 실시간으로 추적 할 수 있는 알고리듬을 제안하였다. 방사상 표현 (radial representation) 방식을 적용하여 객체 중심점에서만 블록정합 (block matching) 알고리듬으로 움직임을 추정하고 보상하여 적은 계산량으로 객체 움직임을 추정하고 보상함으로써 객체 윤곽선을 실시간으로 추적하였다. 에너지 수렴 과정에서 기울기 영상과 차영상 (differential image)을 에너지 함수로 함께 사용함으로 배경 잡영 등에도 강건하도록 하였다. 실험 결과 움직임이 빠른 객체와 배경 잡영 속의 객체도 실시간으로 강건하게 추적함을 확인하였다.

  • Currently, numerous companies and institutes provide services using the Internet, and establish and operate Information Systems to manage them efficiently and reliably. The Information System implies the possibility of losing the ability to provide normal services due to a disaster or disability. It is preparing for this by utilizing a disaster recovery system. However, existing disaster recovery systems cannot perform normal recovery if files for system recovery are corrupted. In this paper, we proposed a system that can verify the integrity of the system recovery file and proceed with recovery by utilizing hyper-ledger fabric blockchain. The PBFT consensus algorithm is used to generate the blocks and is performed by the leader node of the blockchain network. In the event of failure, verify the integrity of the recovery file by comparing the hash value of the recovery file with the hash value in the blockchain and proceed with recovery. For the evaluation of proposed techniques, a comparative analysis was conducted based on four items: existing system recovery techniques and data consistency, able to data retention, recovery file integrity, and using the proposed technique, the amount of traffic generated was analyzed to determine whether it was actually applicable.

A Study on the Prediction System of Block Matching Rework Time (블록 정합 재작업 시수 예측 시스템에 관한 연구)

  • In order to evaluate the precision degree of the blocks on the dock, the shipyards recently started to use the point cloud approaches using the 3D scanners. However, they hesitate to use it due to the limited time, cost, and elaborative effects for the post-works. Although it is somewhat traditional instead, they have still used the electro-optical wave devices which have a characteristic of having less dense point set (usually 1 point per meter) around the contact section of two blocks. This paper tried to expand the usage of point sets. Our approach can estimate the rework time to weld between the Pre-Erected(PE) Block and Erected(ER) block as well as the precision of block construction. In detail, two algorithms were applied to increase the efficiency of estimation process. The first one is K-mean clustering algorithm which is used to separate only the related contact point set from others not related with welding sections. The second one is the Concave hull algorithm which also separates the inner point of the contact section used for the delayed outfitting and stiffeners section, and constructs the concave outline of contact section as the primary objects to estimate the rework time of welding. The main purpose of this paper is that the rework cost for welding is able to be obtained easily and precisely with the defective point set. The point set on the blocks' outline are challenging to get the approximated mathematical curves, owing to the lots of orthogonal parts and lack of number of point. To solve this problems we compared the Radial based function-Multi-Layer(RBF-ML) and Akima interpolation method. Collecting the proposed methods, the paper suggested the noble point matching method for minimizing the rework time of block-welding on the dock, differently the previous approach which had paid the attention of only the degree of accuracy.

Rain Detection and Removal Algorithm using Motion-Compensated Non-local Means Filter for Video Sequences (동영상을 위한 움직임 보상 기반 Non-Local Means 필터를 이용한 우적 검출 및 제거 알고리즘)

  • This paper proposes a rain detection and removal algorithm that is robust against camera motion in video sequences. In detection part, the proposed algorithm initially detects possible rain streaks by using intensity properties and spatial properties. Then, the rain streak candidates are selected based on Gaussian distribution model. In removal part, a non-rain block matching algorithm is performed between adjacent frames to find similar blocks to the block that has rain pixels. If the similar blocks to the block are obtained, the rain region of the block is reconstructed by non-local means (NLM) filter using the similar neighbors. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm outperforms the previous works in terms of subjective visual quality of de-rained video sequences.

Dispersion Analysis for Rectangular Coaxial Line and TEM Cell (네모 동축선과 TEM 셀의 분산관계 해석)

  • A rectangular coaxial line is mainly utilized as a transition structure from a coaxial line to a rectangular waveguide. A TEM cell is also widely used to measure the EMC characteristics of a DUT. In order to understand the operations of a rectangular coaxial line and a TEM cell, it is essential to analyze the dispersion relations of a rectangular coaxial line and a TEM cell. In this paper, we present simple yet accurate dispersion relations of the TE and TM higher modes based on the TEM mode. Manipulating a mode-matching technique and a Green's function approach allows us to obtain the analytic dispersion equations of a rectangular coaxial line and a TEM cell. In our approach, a rectangular coaxial line is divided into four L-blocks and its electromagnetic fields representations are easily obtained with a superposition. To verify the convergence of our dispersion relations, we perform numerical computations and compare our results with those of FDTD.
