  • In this paper, I propose that what factors affect logistics companies' adoption of blockchain technology and to analyze the effects of blockchain technology on logistics performance. The variables influencing the adoption of blockchain technology were presented based on the TOE frame. Expected profit, organizational readiness, technology compatibility, and competitive pressure were suggested as factors to adopt blockchain technology. Also, as a blockchain technology, smart contracts and information transparency were presented. Logistics performance suggested agility and alignment. A survey was conducted with Korean logistics companies. Looking at the results of analyzing the collected data, it was found that expected profit and technology compatibility have a positive effect on this blockchain technology (smart contract, information transparency). Organizational readiness was found to have a positive effect on information transparency. Blockchain technology was found to have a positive effect on logistics performance.

  • This paper proposes method for determining exterior orientation parameters (EOPs) from the RPC mathematical camera model of the satellite image. SPOT satellite stereo pair is pre-tested using the proposed method. As results that, geopositioning errors are similar with those of the original EOPs. Differences between EOPs determined from the RPC and original EOPs were small. IKONOS Geo-level stereo pair is tested by the proposed method. Results of this method are compared with those of the RPC block adjustment method which have been verified in reported studies. Consequently, the proposed method showed accuracy similar to the RPC block adjustment method. The digital elevation models (DEMs) of sample area acquired by the two method almost did not have a difference.

  • This paper presents an approach to enable a typical GPS receiver to be much less susceptible to intentional disruption such as jamming and change in link environment. In order for the GPS receiver to cope with jamming and to get adaptivity, a $4{\times}4$ beamforming antenna is designed using metamaterials. The design results show the antenna gain much higher than 5 dBi and the movable beam.

  • One method for image recognition is template matching. In conventional template matching, the block matching algorithm (BMA) is performed while changing the two-dimensional translational displacement of the template within a given matching image. The template size and shape do not change during the BMA. Since only two-dimensional translational displacement is considered, the success rate decreases if the size and direction of the object do not match in the template and the matching image. In this paper, a variable is added to adjust the two-dimensional direction and size of the template, and the optimal value of the variable is automatically calculated in the block corresponding to each two-dimensional translational displacement. Using the calculated optimal value, the template is automatically transformed into an optimal template for each block. The matching error value of each block is then calculated based on the automatically deformed template. Therefore, a more stable result can be obtained for the difference in direction and size. For ease of use, this study focuses on designing the algorithm in a closed form that does not require additional information beyond the template image, such as distance information.

  • In photogrammetry, the accuracy is analyzed by using the coordinate of the targeted position determined by the geometric principle, thus, the reliability depends on the accuracy of the coordinate of the targeted position. Thereby, geographic surveying is essential to perform such tasks, and it requires approximately $30{\sim}50%$ of total cost and times to produce a finalized map. The main purpose of this study is to determine the configuration of the disposition of minimum datum points and their configuration, which were determined by surveying values available through using the structure of block model based on the aerotriangulation. ortho projection image was produce and digital topographic map was achieved by the optima model(CASE7). We also performed comparative analysis about the result of local datum point and the accuracy of overlapping based on the surveying results. Consequently, it is possible to analyze the unknown position accurately with the optimal model., CASE 7, which is the minimum datum points configuration required to block adjustment. Furthermore, this optimal model, which provides the minimum datum points, results costs and time saving effects compared to the previous methodology.

  • The HFMX((High Flux Macromolecular X-ray crystallography) beamline at Pohang Accelerator Laboratory uses beams from a multi-pole wiggler. Two horizontal and vertical slits relevant to high heat-load are installed at its front-end. In order to treat high heat-load with reducing beam scattering, the horizontal slit has two Glidcop blocks with a grazing incidence angle of $10^{\circ}$ of a grazing-incidence knife-edge configuration. The blocks adjust the slit gap by being translated along guides by two actuating bars, respectively. Water flowing through holes, drilled along the actuating bars, cools the heat-load of both blocks. The vortical slit has the same structure as the horizontal slit except its installation direction with respect to the vacuum chamber and its grazing incidence angle. By virtue of a pair of blocks translating on guides, no alignment between both blocks is required and the installed slits show stable operating performance. The cooling performance of the two slits has been also shown to be acceptable. In this paper, the detailed explanation for the design of the two slits is presented and their operating performance is discussed.
