This study introduces the case of a company that newly jumped into the competitive cosmetics market with a brand concept developed through big data analysis. Skin Reverse Lab, which possesses anti-aging material technology, launched a new brand in the skincare cosmetics market. Using a big data analysis program called Luminoso, SNS data was analyzed in four areas, which were consumer attitudes toward overall cosmetics, skincare products, competitors, and consumers' experiences of product use. The age groups and competitors were analyzed through the emotional analysis technique including context, which is the strength of Luminoso, and insights on consumers were derived through the related word analysis and word cloud techniques. Based on the analysis results, Logically Skin have won various awards in famous magazines and apps, and have been recognized as products that meet global trend standards. Besides, it has entered six countries including the United States and Hong Kong. The Logically Skin case is a case in which a new company entered the market with a new brand by deriving consumer insights only from external data, and it is significant as a case of applying AI-based sentiment analysis.

Design has become a buzzword in the marketing community these days and has been considered as an important success factor for business. Unfortunately, however, little research to date has been conducted on consumer responses to brand logo designs, which visualize brand identities. This article reports the findings from an experimental study which examined consumer evaluations of logo designs through conjoint analysis. The study explored potential factors which would give rise to the differences of consumer preferences. The results indicate that in the case of cognitive brand concepts, search goods show high elaborateness and low symmetry, experience goods show high associativeness, and credence goods show low elaborateness and high symmetry in the logo design characteristics. Affective brand concepts reveal different results in the logo design characteristics: search goods indicate high elaborateness and low associativeness, experience goods show low naturalness, and credence goods show low elaborateness and high associativeness. Implications of the results are discussed from a theoretical and practical standpoint.

The focus on the tourism development after executing the local self-governing system has been changed into a software from a hardware. Especially, the local self-governing bodies in recent years have found their local attractions, and then made them into the tourist contents (branded as a kind of commercial article) which can represent their local culture and environment. They are positively making the most of the contents for their public relations. But, as the tourist contents are used as a limited form, they need to be developed as a city brand which is comprehensive and unifying. Accordingly, in this paper, the C-city was selected as an example. and a city brand of C-city was made on the basis of the tourist contents.
This research emphasizes the role of design in tire pattern development by pointing out the problem causing by failure of brand identity establishment under the tire market circumstances, where has been focused more on companies' engineering sides in the past. The study is reorganized by the results of company-university project of Kumhotire Co. & Chosun University and design development is targeted for female drivers as new niche market whose size are rapidly increasing year by year, In the project, design concept is developed by analysis of consumer needs then, design development is performed in both sides of pattern and engineering simultaneously for realizing selected design concept. Generated ideas are screened by discussion with design team members of Kumhotire Co. and eventually, two design items are developed. The study results are expected to contribute to the motivation of more design development investment with engineering so that companies are able to establish effective brand identity in the more severely competing tire market in the future.
This study is to develop brand renovation identities for kolon mode and 5 other brands: Arthur dixon, Arpeggio, Manstar, Just, Bella. Since those brands have their own identities for about 10 to 20 years, new images have to be made very carefully based on the examination of old identities whether they fit their concepts. lifestyle of their consumers, fasion trends and so on. The typical way of adopting a renovation identity for a existing brand is to consider a transition part which never needs to be considered for a new brand.

The brand consulting for paving the way for overseas-based companies to develop local brands includes many processes such as the analysis of local markets and consumers, the analysis of in-and-out circumstances including the diagnosis of corporate competence and resource, the establishment of brand strategies, the development of brand concepts, and the development of design, which should be performed before the eventual launch of overseas markets. So, the success of overseas-based brand consulting just depends on coworking(i.e., consortium) by brand experts from international marketing, design to local-overseas brand rights which have been barely touched upon by the brand experts. This study aims to present brand consulting framework and to support the development of local-fit brands when the small and medium industries, esteemed relatively less compatible than conglomerates, expand their business in the non-English-speaking countries. This study also includes the results of a demand inquiry on the local fit brand targeted for SMEs. As a brand consulting framework which has been performed at work sites through the accumulated many year's trial and error, it could be a significantly meaningful guidance for the brand experts who perform local-fit brands consulting and the SMEs who look for overseas-based brand consulting.
Despite the SKM Duyree shop's potentials, such as residing over the Samsung-dong, gangnam-gu one of the premier locations in Seoul, and offering a large shopping store, the old 'SKM Dutyfree' symbol [image #2] has become the burden for a company due to its low-profile brand quality and lack of location advertisements. Therefore, first, we have agreed to acquire the popular brand word 'COEX' and replace "SKM Dutyfree" to "COEX Dutyfree", and second, the new visual image has been created in order to create a synergy of the urban-look and the location-information. Therefore, the visual identity design concepts have been utilized in order to achieve such goals; first, promote the existing COEX-image and metropolitan-esque image. Second, unify the international-metropolitan looks of the COEX-mall, hotel, shopping center, exhibition, and airport terminal with location information. Third, deliver the new identity-design [image #1] of the fresh look(compare to competing dutyfree shops) and dynamic images.
