The purpose of this study is to examine the property of climatological environment using the daily mean meteorological data measured at the serveral meteorological observatory for 30years(1961~1990). It was found that the distribution of discomfort index tended to mainly depend on the geographical situation in the same season. Major portions of Korea were subjected to continental except for some seaside districts. The discomfort index have a large(small) value in summer(winter) season. And there is a short interval(1 or 2 months) between summer and winter season in Korea.

우리는 언제부터인가 개인용 컴퓨터에 개인정보와 같은 민감한 데이터를 사용자의 동의 없이 수집하거나 성가시게 혹은 불쾌한 광고를 출력하는 프로그램들로 가득차 있는 것을 자주 경험하고 있다. 이러한 모든 행동들은 사용자의 적절한 동의 절차 없이 이루어졌다는 것이 가장 근본적인 문제이고 바로 여기서부터 문제를 해결해 나가야할 것이다. 그러나 법적으로 스파이웨어(Spyware)가 명확히 정의되어 있지 않고 그나마 (구)정보통신부에서 발표한 문건은 하루가 멀다 하고 새롭게 변화하는 스파이웨어들에 법적인 구속력을 적용하기 힘든 것이 현실이다. 이 글에서는 현재 국 내외에서 스파이웨어가 어떻게 정의되고 있는지 알아보고 스파이웨어를 정의하기 위해 필요한 기술적인 배경을 살펴봄으로써 보다 효율적인 법안을 마련하는 데 도움이 되고자 한다.

Perchloromethyl mercaptan에 대한 직업적 노출기준으로 TLV-TWA 0.1 ppm(0.76 mg/$m^3$)으로 권고한다. TLV-TWA 0.1 ppm(0.76 mg/$m^3$) 은 눈과 코의 자극 그리고 불쾌한 냄새로 인한 불편함의 가능성을 최소화하는 수준이다. Perchloromethyl mercaptan에 대한 동물 노출 실험연구와 근로자들의 노출연구 자료는 매우 제한적이다. 사고로 확인되지 않은 농도에 근로자들이 노출된 경우, 발견된 증상과 징후는 눈, 목, 가슴에 심한 자극과 기침, 눈물, 호흡곤란, 메스꺼움, 구토, 빈맥, 청색증, 경련 그리고 폐부종에 의한 사망이다. Perchloromethyl mercaptan을 활용하는 생산설비에서 TLV-TWA 0.1 ppm 이하 농도의 증기에 노출되었을 때 질병을 유발하였다는 보고는 없었다. 피부흡수, 발암성 그리고 TLV-STEL을 권고하기 위한 유용한 자료는 충분하지 않다.

Tn the present study, 9 photographs from the International Affective Picture System (IAPS) judged to express best 2-dimensional sensibility were selected and used to stimulate the subjects. The goal of the study lay in verifying whether or not the consequent affective changes in the subjects can be discriminated psychologically and physiologically in terms of arousal and relaxation. In order to determine affective changes, the physiological signals of the subjects' autonomic nervous system were measured through electrocardiogram (ECG) , galvanic skin response (GSR), skin temperature, and respiration. After stimulation and measurement, subjective evaluation was conducted. Subjective evaluation revealed that affective arousal level could be classified into 4 consecutive stages: arousal 〉 unpleasant arousal, pleasant arousal 〉 comfort 〉 relaxation. Analysis revealed that the responses of the autonomic nervous system, too, could be classified into 3 consecutive stages: arousal, unpleasant arousal, pleasant arousal 〉 comfort 〉 relaxation. By selecting and using 9 photographs from the IAPS deemed best to express Koreans'2-dimensional sensibility, the present study confirmed that it is possible to discriminate changes in the subjects' affective arousal level in terms of arousal and relaxation through psychological and physiological evaluation.

Arousal level has been well defined by autonomic responses. However, entire emotion including both valence and arousal level is often questioned to be completely described by only autonomic responses. This study is to find the autonomic physiological parameters which were used emotion evaluation, 15 undergraduate students were asked to watch eight video clips from diverse movies and comedy shows for experiencing emotions. The subjectively experienced emotion were grouped by three factors. Two dimensional emotion model having the pleasant-unpleasant and arousal-non arousal factors were mapped with three physiological responses(GSR, PPG, SKT). The results may suggest that PPG and GSR may be used as arousal index while SKT may pleasant index. And the complex relation of physiological responses to emotional experiences are discussed.

The text such as stories, blogs, chat, message and reviews have the overall emotional flow. It can be classified to the text having similar emotional flow if we compare the similarity between texts, and it can be used such as recommendations and opinion collection. In this paper, we extract emotion terms from the text sequentially and analysis emotion terms in the pleasantness-unpleasantness and activation dimension in order to identify the emotional flow of the text. To analyze the 'dominant emotion' which is the overall emotional flow in the text, we add the time dimension as sequential flow of the text, and analyze the emotional flow in three dimensional space: pleasantness-unpleasantness, activation and time. Also, we suggested that a classification method to compute similarity of the emotional flow in the text using the Euclidean distance in three dimensional space. With the proposed method, we analyze the dominant emotion in korean modern short stories and classify them to similar dominant emotion.

Parke and Waters' model［1］ of muscle-based face deformation was used to develop a system that can synthesize facial expressions when the pleasure-displeasure and arousal-sleep coordinate values of internal states are specified. Facial expressions sampled from a database developed by Chung, Oh, Lee and Byun ［2］ and its underlying model of internal states were used to find rules for face deformation. The internal - state model included dimensional and categorical values of the sampled facial expressions. To find out deformation rules for each of the expressions, changes in the lengths of 21 facial muscles were measured. Then, a set of multiple regression analyses was performed to find out the relationship between the muscle lengths and internal states. The deformation rules obtained from the process turned out to produce natural-looking expressions when the internal states were specified by the pleasure-displeasure and arousal-sleep coordinate values. Such a result implies that the rules derived from a large scale database and regression analyses capturing the variations of individual muscles can be served as a useful and powerful tool for synthesizing facial expressions.

The purpose of this study is visualizing climate change contents from Weather Research and Forecasting model and providing useful tool to anyone who want to use them for communication and actual movement. As a results, we have built a process and user interface for publishing Arrow KML, BWS KML, and DI KML. Arrow KML provide wind rose service and wind attribute information for each arrow. BWS KML provide a wind power index and DI KML provide a thermal comfort. All KML contents are more reliable because those are visualized from the scientifically verified climate change prediction model. Further study will focus on searching for climate change contents mining and useful contents design for wide range of climate change mitigation/adaptation activity.

The effects of electron-beam irradiation on the microbial and sensory qualities of pork loins were studied. The pork loins were aerobically packed in polyethylene films and exposed to absorbed doses of electron-beam at 0, 0.5, 1 and 2 kGy in ambient temperature. All samples were stored at $4{\pm}1^{\circ}C$. As an irradiation dose increased, decontaminating effects increased in terms of total microbial count, lactic acid bacteria and psychrotrophs during storage. All difference degrees in the triangle test were very low levels. In the descriptive analysis, Low dose irradiation did not affect aroma, off-flavor and acceptability in fresh and cooked meats.
