The Effect of Stage diffusers on the Stage Acoustics in a Concert Hall (콘서트홀에서 무대음향에 대한 확산체의 영향)

  • The effect of diffusers on Early Stage Support (ST1) in a concert hall was investigated at 8 positions in a 1:25 stage scale model. Experiments were carried out when the stage floor was covered with and without absorption cloth to investigate the effect of stage floor reflection (absorption coefficient - 0.6 at 500Hz). To find out the effect of stage wall. three types of wall diffusers were used. As a result. absorption cloth on stage floor reduced the ST1 values at high frequency. but the average value of ST1 was not changed. Three types of stage wall diffusers were revealed as unaffecting. but it was observed that the ST1 values varied to positions of stage. The ST1 values were evenly distributed when hemisphere diffusers were used. Therefore. the use of floor absorption did not have much effect on the ST1 values, and the diffusers had some effect on the distribution of the ST1 values.

Predicting the Suitable Habitat of Amaranthus viridis Based on Climate Change Scenarios by MaxEnt (MaxEnt를 활용한 청비름(Amaranthus viridis)의 기후변화 시나리오에 의한 서식지 분포 변화 예측)

  • This study was conducted to predict the changes of potential distribution for invasive alien plant, Amaranthus viridis in Korea. The habitats of A. viridis were roadside, bare ground, farm area, and pasture, where the interference by human was severe. We used maximum entropy modeling (MaxEnt) for analyzing the environmental influences on A. viridis distribution and projecting on two different representative concentration pathways (RCP) scenarios, RCP 4.5 and RCP 8.5. The results of our study indicated annual mean temperature, elevation and precipitation of coldest month had higher contribution for A. viridis potential distribution. Projected potential distribution of A. viridis will be increased by 110% on RCP 4.5, 470% on RCP 8.5.

  • Anodization method is utilized in order to measure diffusion profiles of boron and arsenic in silicon. The solution used for silicon anodization is Ethylene glycol +KNO3(0.04N), The thickness of silicon which is consumed by a single 200V anodization is 460$\pm$40A regardless of wafer type. The profiles of boron and arsenic in silicon after predeposition process are investigated. The diffusion coefficients of both dopants depending on impurity concentration are extrated from these profiles. The base pull-in effect has been observed in prototype npn transistors with arsenic doped emitter.

월성원전 부지 주변의 해륙풍을 고려한 방사성 물질의 대기확산 모델링

  • 우리나라 원전이 위치하고 있는 해안지역에서 빈번히 발생하는 해륙풍 둥과 같은 국지순환을 고려할 수 있는 삼차원 라그랑지 입자확산모델을 개발하였다. 개발된 모델을 이용하여 월성원전 부지를 대상으로 봄철 약한 북풍이 부는 밝은 날에 대해 방사성 물질의 대기확산을 모델링하였다. 모델링 결과를 통해 해륙풍에 의한 방사성 입자의 시ㆍ공간적 분포와 일주기적 확산 양태를 규명하고, 해륙풍의 풍향변화에 의한 방사성 입자의 재순환의 중요성을 확인하였다.

  • Electromagnetic field characteristics of Reverberation chamber, which could be applicable for an alternative test facility of electromagnetic interference and radiated electromagnetic susceptibility have been investigated. To obtain the required field uniformity of reverberation chamber, Schroeder method Quadratic Residue Diffuser was designed to be applied to chamber. In this paper, 3 different types of diffusers depending on diffuser's periodic direction have been used to investigate field characteristics of each type by using FDTD numerical method. The results show all 3 types of reverberation chambers have below $\pm$3 dB tolerance of field uniformity characteristics, and the symmetrical, type 3, structure show better results among them.

  • 확산(Diffusion)은 실의 음향성능에 있어서 중요한 요소이나 확산성을 측정하기가 기술적으로 어렵고 실 표면에서의 확산정도도 계량하기가 어렸운것이 현실이다. 이에 본 연구의 목적은 현장실험을 통하여 표면의 확산성을 측정할 수 있는 새로운인자(가칭:${\Delta}x$)의 가능성을 개진하는 것이다. 실험결과에 의하면 확산성이 높은 홀에서 두개의 마이크로폰에 의하여 측정된 ${\Delta}x$의 값은 확산성이 높은 홀이 낮은 홀에서 보다 평균적으로 작은 값이 나왔다. 이것은 확산이 잘 이루어지는 홀에서는 각 방향으로의 음이 고루 분포하여 객석에 도달하고 있다는 것을 나타낸다. 즉 음이 각 방향으로 고루 전달되고 있다는 것을 나타낸다.

  • 광섬유 내에 첨가되어 있는 $GeO_2$ 등의 물질을 얼 확산시켜서 만드는 열확산 코어 광섬유는 열확산 기술에 따른 광섬유의 MFD(Mode Field Diameter)를 국소적으로 확대하여 굴절률 분포를 변화시킨 광섬유로 혹의 비틀림 및 간격에 대한 허용범위가 넓어지게 하여 접속 손실을 감소시킬 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 열확산 코어 광섬유를 제조할 때 안정된 얼확산 문제를 해결하기 위한 방법으로 트윈 토치를 이용한 프레임 브러싱 기법의 안정화된 코어 확장형 광섬유 제조시스템을 제작하였다. 또한 제작된 열확산 코어 광섬유 제조시스템을 이용하여 단일모드 조건을 만족하는 다양한 종류의 열확산 코어 광섬유가 제작됨을 확인할 수 있었다.

Spatial Diffusion Patterns of the Organic Farms in Korea and the Geographical Characteristics (한국 친환경농업의 공간적 확산 양상과 그 지리적 함의)

  • This study aims to indicate the spatial characteristics of the changes in the Korean farm land. In particular, we analyze the spatial diffusion patterns of organic farms increasing rapidly with the growth in the agricultural product markets as well as the demand for safe food and sustainable growth. For the purpose, we examine the changes in the distribution patterns of organic farms between year 2000 and 2005. We analyze the agglomeration pattern by Location Quotient (LQ) and Local indicator of spatial association (LISA). Organic farms have been spread out from the outscuirts of Seoul, the capital city, to the traditional agriculture spetilized area in the southern parts of the nation. In order to analyze the relationships between organic farm distribution and the geographical variables affecting the organic farming, we develop multivariate regression models. Our findings indicate that organic farming is related with the number of agriculture-based business and information technique adaptation as well as the level of education and farmers age.

  • This study collected the latest 30-year (1976~2005) continuous rainfall data hourly recorded at 61 meterological observatories in Korea, and the continuous rainfall data was divided into individual rainfall events. In addition, distribution charts of average rainfall event-depth were created to facilitate the application to the overflow risk-based design of detention storage basin. This study shows that 4 hour is appropriate for SST (storm separation time) to separate individual rainfall events from the continuous rainfall data, and the one-parameter exponential distribution is suitable for the frequency distribution of rainfall event depths for the domestic rainfall data. The analysis of the domestic rainfall data using SST of 4 hour showed that the individual rainfall event was 1380 to 2031 times, the average rainfall event-depth was 19.1 to 32.4mm, and ranged between 0.877 and 0.926. Distribution charts of average rainfall event-depth were created for 4hour and 6 hour of SST, respectively. The inland Gyeongsangbuk-do, Western coastal area and inland of Jeollabuk-do had relatively lower average rainfall event-depth, whereas Southern coastal area, such as Namhae, Yeosu, and Jeju-do had relatively higher average rainfall event-depth.
