Analysis of Status about Theses and Articles Related to Domestic STEAM Education (국내 STEAM 교육 연구 논문의 현황 분석)

  • The purpose of this research was to collect and select the theses and articles of the STEAM education in domestic and to analyze a research status by the review, then to suggest a direction of the further research in technology education. The objects of this research were the theses and articles of the STEAM education in domestic published from January 2007 to June 2016. I collected the theses and articles by using the search engine of the Korean Academic Information Service, the Korea Education and Research Information Service, the National Assembly Digital Library, and finally selected 821 theses and articles for the objects. I analyzed the theses and articles by verifying their subjects, abstracts and contents, and applied the analysis framework developed in advance. I used the frequency analysis, the cross analysis to analyze the datas statistically. Also, I used SPSS 18.0 program. Drawing on the finding of this research, major conclusions of this research were as follows. First, the researches of the STEAM education in domestic had been studied numerously from 2012 to 2015, but it has been decreased since 2016. Second, the researches of the STEAM education in domestic have been studied numerously for the development of the educational program and the instructional source. Third, the research objects of the STEAM education in domestic have been studied numerously for elementary school, middle school and high school in a row. Forth, the researches of the STEAM education in domestic have been focused numerously on a science. Fifth, the researches of the STEAM education in domestic have been concerned mainly about the creativity effect among other educational effects.

A Study on the Application of Marine Emulsion Fuel for Tier 3 Regulation (Tier 3 규제 대응을 위한 선박용 에멀젼 연료 적용성 연구)

  • In this study, the characteristics of emulsified fuel and engine emissions were studied with an engine dynamometer. In the results of physical property analysis, the margin of error of net calorific value and gross calorific value was ${\pm}0.5%$, were almost same theoretical calculation and results of physical property analysis test. In emulsified fuel, density and viscosity increased with increasing water contents. Emulsified fuel which is composed of water and Bunker-A was manufactured by using homogenizer and ultrasonic generator in $80^{\circ}C$. Phase separation did not take place in $20^{\circ}C$ and $50^{\circ}C$. In the results of engine dynamometer test, NOx concentration and smoke density were reduced with increasing water contents in using emulsified fuel. Total NOx could be reduced by about 41%, 10%, 32% and 28% at 1,000 rpm, 1,200 rpm, 1,500 rpm and 2,500 rpm respectively. Total smoke density was reduced to 42%, 65%, 70%, 62%, and 82% at 1,000 rpm, 1,200 rpm, 1,500 rpm, 2,000 rpm, and 2,500 rpm respectively.

A Study on the Influence of S Shaped Annular Duct on the Centrifugal Compressor Performance (S자형 환형덕트가 원심압축기 성능에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • In twin spool aero-engine, there may be a S shaped annular duct between high pressure and low pressure spools. The flow passing this S shaped duct experiences the flow acceleration and deceleration due to the convex and concave surface of the duct as well as the increase of blockage according to the boundary layer growth along the surfaces. So, the high pressure compressor which is located behind the S shaped duct is influenced by the non-uniform flow field generated by the geometry of inlet duct. To study the influence of the S shaped duct on the centrifugal stage, performance tests were implemented for the compressor with straight cylindrical inlet duct and with S shaped inlet duct, respectively. The test results showed that the performance, such as pressure ratio and efficiency, of the compressor with S shaped duct was worse than that of the compressor with cylindrical duct. And the compressor with S shaped duct had reduced maximum flow rate around design speed. To investigate the cause of performance degradation, flow anlaysis was performed for the impeller in front of which is located S shaped annular duct. The result of CFD showed the strong acceleration of the flow in the axial direction around the inducer tip region which caused the increase of relative mach number and the decrease of incidence angle of the flow.

A Study on Profitability of Power Plant for Landfill Gas (매립가스 자원화를 위한 가스엔진 발전의 수익성에 관한 연구)

  • Landfill gas is a mixture of methane and carbon dioxide produced by the bacterial decomposition of organic wastes, and it is considered to produce bad smells and pollute the environment. Economic trials and the developments of landfill gas, as an alternative energy resource, become known at the recent years, Resource development of landfill gas, which is managed by Korea up to now, is for the most part generation using gas engine. Medium BTU and High BTU are considered for the power generation as well. Most income of generation using gas engine is selling charge through a power plant. Expecting to manage the power plant for up to 10 years, the analysis based on revenue and expenditure shows when the unit price is 65.2 Won and the operating rate reaches 90%, it is possible to be into the black in 2012 without considering additional financial expense, It was also analyzed that the profit at a unit price of 85 Won under the anticipated rising unit price by the operating rate of 71% is larger than at the operating rate of 90% under limited unit price of 65.2 Won. It means to manage the power plant at a unit price of 65.2 Won and the operating rate must be higher than 90% for economic logicality. If we assume that the operating rate is 90% and it increases the unit price, the unit price must be higher than 85 Won for the management of a power plant. Analysis of changing a unit price, however, might be expected to have a gradual rise of prices. If there is no price rising and additional income related to CDM(Clean Development Mechanism) and emission trading upon Kyoto protocol, the management of a power plant using gas engine will get financial difficulties because of many operating expenses. However, since landfill gas is considered as a worthy energy resource for the guarantee of sustainable development and for the equity between recent generation and future generation, the development of it must be accomplished by the government's additional supporting and efforts under the interest of all stakeholder who are involved.

  • 연구목적: 국내 과일 산업의 한 단계 도약과 대외 경쟁력을 높이기 위해서는 수확작업의 기계화가 시급함. 이 연구는 국내외 과일 수확 기계화 현황과 문제점을 분석하고, 향후 수확작업 기계화 방향을 제시하고자 수행 수확기계 실용화 현황 및 고찰 (국내) 과일을 직접 수확이 아닌 수확 작업을 보조해주는 고지 작업기(수동형, 모터 진동형)와 고소 작업차가 대부분임. 수동형은 사과 감 등을 수확하지만, 작업능률이 낮고 작업자가 쉽게 피로하여 장시간 작업이 불가능하므로 실질적인 대안이 되지 못함. 진동형은 자체 동력을 이용하여 나무에 진동을 가하여 주로 대추 매실 등 소과류 수확에 이용되고, 수확능률은 우수하나 충격 손상이 많아 개선이 요구됨. 고소작업차는 동력원에 따라 충전식과 엔진식으로 구분되고, 충전식은 엔진식에 비해 진동 소음이 적어 쾌적하지만, 작업시간이 배터리 용량에 제한을 받음. 또한 작업대 작동방식에 따라 리프트형과 붐형으로 구분함. 리프트형은 리프트를 이용하여 작업대를 상하로 구동하는 방식으로 높은 위치의 과실 수확이 어렵고, 작업대 넓이 만큼의 작업 공간(과수간의 거리)이 필요함. 붐형은 필요한 곳으로 접근성이 우수하나 무거운 무게를 지탱하기 어렵기 때문에 본체를 무겁게 하거나 수시로 수확된 과일을 하차시켜야 함. (국외) 수확 후 가공되는 과일류와 포도 올리브 오렌지 매실 등 소과류 수확이 기계화되었지만, 사과 복숭아 등 신선과일은 아직도 외국의 값싼 노동자들에 의존하여 수확되고 있음. 현재 실용화된 수확 기계는 진동식 수확기계와 터널식 수확기계가 대표적임. 진동식은 집게형의 부착기를 나무 줄기에 고정한 후 트랙터 동력원으로 나무에 진동을 가하여 수확하고, 올리브 대추 등과 같은 소과류와 과피가 두꺼운 오렌지 등에 적용되고, 수확 작업능률이 매우 높으나 과일의 낙하 상처를 피할 수 없는 단점이 있음. 터널형은 규격화(과수 크기 및 형태, 재식거리)된 과수원에 잘 적응하도록 설계 제작되어, 과수 위를 지나가면서 내부에 설치된 진동장치와 컨테이너로 과일을 수확하고, 와인용 포도 수확기가 대표적임. 기계수확이 가능하도록 과수원 조성단계에서부터 재배양식(과수 좌우 및 전후 거리)을 기계의 제원(바퀴 간격, 작업부 간격 등)에 맞추어 재배함. 과일 수확로봇에 관한 연구는 활발하고 일부에서 실증시험단계에 있음. 결론: 구체적인 추진방향을 제시하면, 단기적으로는 과일 수확작업자의 작업편이성과 노동강도를 줄일 수 있도록 소형 저가 범용성이 우수한 보조기구/기계의 보급을 확대하고, 중장기적으로는 수확기계/수확로봇 개발을 위한 연구개발비 투자를 늘리는 동시에, 기계/로봇이 과수원에 잘 적응할 수 있도록 수형 재식거리 등 재배양식의 표준화가 추진되어야 함.

  • General VTOL aircraft uses gas turbine engine which has high power to weight ratio. However, in the VTOL UAV in small sector, the gas turbine as a prime mover is not adequate because of the limitation of the high fuel consumption ratio of the gas turbine. In this research, The Series Hybrid-Electric Propulsion System(SHEPS) has been proposed and technology survey & comparison analysis has conducted to constitute propulsion system for engine, electric motor and battery. To achieve this object a 65kg-class P-UAV from "Company I" was used. And to estimate the validity of power control algorithm and developed power management control, Matlab/simulink$^{(R)}$ has been used for the simulation. As a result, the developed algorithm worked comparatively well and the research has predicted that SHEPS was satisfied enough for 7 hour of endurance for mission profile.

A STUDY OF INSERTION DEPTH OF BUCHANAN PLUGGER AFTER SHAPING USING NI-TI ROTARY FILES IN SIMULATED RESIN ROOT CANALS (Simulated resin root canal에서 엔진 구동형 Ni-Ti 파일로 근관성형 후 Buchanan plugger의 근관 내 삽입깊이에 대한 비교 연구)

  • This study was conducted to evaluate the insertion depth of Buchanan plugger after shaping by various Ni-Ti rotary files. It was conducted to determine which size of plugger are appropriate, when root canals are shaped with Ni-Ti rotary files and obturated by Continuous wave of condensation technique. Two type of eighty simulated resin blocks were used : J-shaped and straight shaped canal. The simulated canals were instrumented by ProTaper and ProFile. Buchanan pluggers were inserted into the canal, and then the image was recorded to scanner. The distance from the apex of the canal to the plugger tip was measured by image analysis program. Data were analyzed by one-way ANOVA followed by Scheffe's test. The results were as follows 1. In straight canal finished up to ProTaper F2 and F3 file, F and FM pluggers were inserted more than 5 mm short of working length. 2. In J-shaped canal finished up to ProTaper F2 file, F pluggers were inserted more than 5 mm short of working length. Finished up to ProTaper F3 file. F and FM pluggers were inserted more than 5 mm short of working length. 3. In straight and J-shaped canal finished up to ProFile .06/#20 and .06/#25, any of Buchanan plugger could not be inserted more than 5 mm short of working length. These results suggest that canals shaped by ProTaper could be obturated by Continuous wave of condensation technique with F and FM size Buchanan plugger.

동축형 분사기 분무특성 및 연소의 이론적 모델

  • 일반적인 액체추진제 로켓엔진의 연소는 분사제트의 미립화, 액적의 증발, 기상 추진제의 혼합, 화학반응 등, 일련의 물리적 과정들로 이루어지고, 여기서 특성속도 효율은 크게 분사특성 및 연소의 두 단계에서 결정되게 된다. 액체추진제 로켓엔진에 사용되는 여러 분무형태 중, 동축형 분사기에서는 액상과 기상 제트의 운동량 차에 의해 미립화가 이루어지며, 분무 액적들의 전개와 더불어 분사기 출구를 포함한 전 영역에서 연소가 발생되므로 매우 복잡한 물리적 특성들을 포함하게 된다. 본 연구에서는 기상 연료-액상 산화제의 동축형 분무연소를 JANNAF의 방법을 사용하여 수식화 하였으며, 이를 바탕으로 분무특성과 연소성능 예측을 위한 프로그램을 작성, 분사조건에 의한 분무특성과 그에 따른 연소성능을 계산하였다. 연속, 운동량, 에너지 및 혼합비 방정식의 지배방정식들을 바탕으로 기상 유동을 수식화 하였으며, 별도로 액적의 소산 및 연소과정을 모사하기 위한 별도의 수식들이 추가되었고, 이 식들을 결합하여 액적의 크기, 분포를 포함하는 액체 제트의 미립화 정도를 공간적으로 계산하였다. 미립화 모델의 검증을 위하여 계산 결과를 Reitz의 실험과 Giridharan의 모델 등과 비교하였으며 잘 일치하는 경향을 나타내었다. 또한 동축형 분사기에서의 분무 특성을 예측하기 위해 액체 산소, 기체 수소를 추진제 조합으로 하는 동축형 분무 연소장에서의 제트 길이, 액적의 크기, 액체 제트의 속도를 계산하였다. 계산 결과 액체 제트의 접촉길이는 분사공의 지름이 증가할수록 웨버수가 증가되므로 짧아지는 것으로 관찰되었으며 액적의 크기도 분사공의 지름이 증가할수록 작아지는 경향을 나타내었다. 액체 제트의 속도는 처음에는 일정하게 유지되다가 운동량을 보존하기 위해 가스로부터 운동량을 받아 점차 가속되어지는 것으로 나타났다.본 규격은 키, 총장, 어깨길이, 등길이, 머리길이, 머리둘레, 진동둘레, 목둘레, 가슴둘레, 허리둘레, 배둘레, 엉덩이둘레, 앞품, 뒤품, drop치를 포함하고 있고, 각 규격에서 호칭간 치수 간격도 함께 제시하고 있다. 본 연구 결과에서 보듯, 현행 8규격의 무진복의 각 호칭간 적정 허용범위를 고려해 합리적인 치수체계를 정립한다면 치수에 대한 적합도가 상당히 증가할 뿐 아니라 생산비용도 상당히 감축할 것으로 생각된다.나타났다. 4) 호감적 서비스능력 차원에서 세 독립변수간에 유의한 3원 상호작용이 존재하는 것으로 나타나( $F_{2,228}$=15.62, P<.001) 20대에 적합한 의복 착용시( $F_{2,228}$=3.98, P<.05)와 60대에 적합한 의복 착용시( $F_{2,228}$=16.55, P<.001) 점포유형과 격식차림간에는 유의한 상호작용이 존재하는 것으로 나타났다. 5) 호감을 구성하는 세 요인들이 구매의도에 미치는 영향을 조사한 결과 호감적 인상차원은 29%(P<.001), 호감적 서비스능력차원은 6%(P<.001)의 구매의도를 설명해 주는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과 노년 소비자에게 호감을 주는 판매원의 외모는 구매의도에 영향을 주어 실버의류산업의 이익증대와 밀접한 연관을 갖는 서비스품질의 중요한 요인으로 밝혀졌다.중요한 요인으로 밝혀졌다.로운 단백질 EPSPS가 다른 여러 식물에 이미 존재하고 있는 단백질로서 우리가 이미 이러한 식품을 섭취할 때 이 단백질도 같이 섭취해오고 있었다는 점, 둘째. 이 단백질이 소화액 분해 실험에서 짧은 시간내에 분해가 되었다는 점, 셋째. 재조합 된 콩과 자연 콩이 성분 분석에서 차이를 나타내지 않았다는 점, 네 번째. 쥐를 통한 다양섭취 실험에서 아무런 이상 반응이 없었

  • Exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) is more effective than selective catalytic reduction (SCR) or lean $NO_x$ trap (LNT) for the reduction of $NO_x$ emissions in diesel engines. A large amount of EGR gas is necessary to satisfy the stringent regulations on $NO_x$ emissions. Low pressure loop (LPL) EGR is almost independent of the variable geometry turbocharger (VGT) at a specific boost pressure, so LPL EGR is better than conventional high pressure loop (HPL) EGR in terms of EGR supply. We compare the influence of HPL EGR and LPL EGR on the combustion characteristics at a constant boost pressure in a diesel engine. The dilution ratio was employed as an independent parameter to analyze the effect of the dilution of the intake charge for each EGR loop. At the same level of $NO_x$ emissions, the fuel consumption and smoke opacity were slightly lower for LPL EGR than for HPL EGR.

Study on the Spray Control of Mixed Fuel Using Flash Boiling (감압비등을 이용한 혼합연료의 분무제어에 관한 연구)

  • This study was conducted to assess the spray control of flash boiling with mixed fuel in consideration of HCCI (Homogeneous Charge Compression Ignition) engine condition. Mixed fuel existing in two phase regions can control the process of mixture formation under low temperature and density by using the spray resulting from flash boiling which is able to induce rapid evaporation of fuel spray as well as the evaporation of high boiling point component. Because HCCI engine injects the fuel early under ambient conditions, it can facilitate the chemical control of ignition combustion and physical control such as breakup and atomization of liquid fuel by flash boiling of mixed fuel which consists of highly ignitable light oil and highly volatile gasoline. This study was conducted by performing video processing after selected composition and molar fraction of the mixed fuel as major parameters and photographed Schlieren image and Mie scattered light corresponding to the flash boiling phenomenon of the fuel spray that was injected inside a constant volume vessel. It was found that flash boiling causes significant changes in the spray structure under relatively low temperature and density. Thus, we analyzed that the flash boiling spray can be used for HCCI combustion by controlling the mixture formation at the early fuel injection timing.
