  • The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of food service web site users' functional recognition extent on switching behaviors. For this, a survey of web site users was carried out. As for analytic methods, frequency analysis was used to examine respondents' demographic features. In addition, simple regression analysis and multiple regression analysis were carried out used to look into the influence of functional recognition of food providers' web sites on switching behaviors. Study findings are as follows: all the functional variables such as entertainment, advertisement & public relations, communication and purchase decision-making function have significant influence on users' switching behaviors. When users' recognition extent of food providers' online web sites is high, their switching behavior is also high. In particular, the following clause have the greatest influence upon users' switching behaviors pattern. In the function of entertainment, (1) it is easy to search on web site; in the advertisement function, (2) the image of restaurant can easily be recognize; In the communication function, (3) the image of new products can be seen with ease; and in the purchase decision-making function, (4) web sites are easily accessible.

  • The purpose of this study was to present implications for empirical analysis of the structural relationship between the level of activities for senior citizens, self-efficacy, and life satisfaction and depression. In order to the survey was conducted For the elderly students who are enrolled in the Senior Citizens' Welfare Center and participating in the information service education in the G-metropolitan city. The method of data analysis was verified by the Regression and Hierarchical Regression analysis using the spss 22.0 statistical program. As a result, The level of activity for the elderly increases the level of self-efficac, The level of activity and self-efficacy of the elderly increased the level of living satisfaction of the elderly and It has been shown to lower the level of depression. Self-efficacy has been shown to have a mediating effect in the relationship between senior citizens' level of information service activities and living satisfaction and depression. Based on these analysis results, a policy measure was proposed to enhance the level of activities for senior citizens.

  • The purpose of this study is to prevent obesity in the elderly and to seek differentiated intervention measures according to education level by comparing and analyzing the factors influencing obesity in single-person households according to education level. Using the data from the National Health and Nutrition Survey in 2020, cross-analysis and logistic regression analysis were conducted through data of a total of 400 respondents, and the analysis showed vulnerability in physical activities that could affect obesity if the education level was low, and risk factors such as eating out and sodium intake were high. As a result of comparative analysis of influencing factors through the classification of education levels, sedentary time was a risk factor in the low-education group, and sodium intake was a risk factor for obesity in the high-education group. Through this, it was discussed the need for healthy nutrition and physical activity education for middle-aged and elderly single-person households, and differentiated intervention according to the level of education.

  • This study analyzes the technological level of Korean bioenergy firms and its determinants by using a multiple logistic regression analysis based on a survey. As the result of analysis, the technological level of Korean bioenergy firms has been positively influenced by the firm size, R&D investments and R&D manpower, but negatively influenced by the competition in domestic market and economy of scale. The policy implications of this study are related to achieve the economy of scale and coevolve between demand and supply-firms for the improvement of the technological level of Korean bioenergy firms.

  • The fundamental concerns of this paper are to analyze the effects of student course evaluation using subject characteristic and student characteristic variables. We use a 2-level hierarchical linear model since the data structure of subject characteristic and student characteristic variables is multilevel. Four models we consider are as follows; (1) null model, (2) random coefficient model, (3) mean as outcomes model, (4) intercepts and slopes as outcomes model. The results of the analysis were given as follows. First, the result of null model was that subject characteristics effects on course evaluation had much larger than student characteristics. Second, the result of conditional model specifying subject and student level predictors revealed that class size, grade, tenure, mean GPA of the class, native class for level-1, and sex, department category, admission method, mean GPA of the student for level-2 had statistically significant effects on course evaluation. The explained variance was 13% in subject level, 13% in student level.
