As a large number of distributed systems becoming more popular, interoperability, portability and security are becoming major concerns of modern computing. CORBA and object-oriented database which provide transparency of network and database are increasingly being used as the basis for distributed system to solve these problems. The two methods can help accomplish assurance of security by using a method-based access control technique or an attribute-based access control technique. These methods also enhance the unavailability or inefficiency caused by the delay of access process and bottleneck of the network due to the complex instance-based access control. We propose a security model on the type information based access control system that can enhance both security and availability by separating the functions delivered from CORBA and object-oriented databases. We apply the access control model specifically to enhancement of security system and also perform a test to verify the security and availability of our model.

In distributed environments, the DB secure models have been being studied to include the multi-level mechanism which is effective to control access according to the level of the data value. These mechanisms have the problems. The first, it is impossible to maintain the global data which is protected in the multi-level mechanism. The second, the access and the relation of the data is not clear due to the access revocation between the local data and the global's. In this paper, we proposed the mechanism using shema. The mechanism doesn't have the access revocation, and provides the protection of the data and the control to the global data.

최근 이질 분산형태를 갖는 정보를 통합하는 방법으로서 웹 서비스 기술을 이용한 바이오 정보 시스템이 개발 구축되고 있다. 이러한 웹 서비스 기반 바이오 정보 시스템으로 Bio-MOBY. DDBJ, MyGrid Project 등을 들 수 있다. 그러나 이들 기존 시스템에서는 선택한 DB에 대한 accession 번호 검색을 지원하거나. 시스템에 등록된 서비스의 선택만이 허용되는 등 이용형태가 매우 제한적이다. 또한 서비스의 품질 평가 기능이 제공되지 않아 서비스의 관련성을 판별하지 못하며, 심지어 링크가 바르게 연결되지 않았거나, 작동하지 않는 서비스의 분별조차 불가능한 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하고자 서비스 검색과정에서 웹 서비스의 품질을 평가하고 평가된 품질을 기반으로 웹 서비스를 순위화해 사용자에게 제공하는 품질기반 UDDI를 제안한다. 이를 위해 우리는 Gene Ontology를 이용한 연관 키워드 검색방식과 키워드 기반의 서비스 품질 평가 방법을 제안하고, 본 방식의 유용성을 보인다.

문헌정보처리 표준화도구인 MARC는 포멧의 문제점과 다양한 웹자원 메타데이터 정보조직의 문제점으로 인하여 웹 기반의 XML표준 포멧의 도입을 시도하였고, MARCXML로 변환되어 시스템간 상호운용되고 있으나, MARCXML은 서지정보의 의미특성이나 메타데이터의 표현을 고려하지 않고 단순히 MARC 레코드의 표현을 XML 구조로 변환한 것일 뿐이다. 시맨틱의 핵심기술로 부각되고 있는 Topic Map은 XML기반의 표준기술언어인 ISO의 XTM을 이용해 정보와 지식의 분산 관리를 지원하는 기술이다. 학술정보자원에 대한 DB 구축 시 Topic Map언어인 XTM을 이용한다면 이미 개발된 여러 메타데이터 등을 한곳으로 통합하면서도 신축성과 확장성을 제공하는 것이 용이하게 된다. 하지만, 기존 시스템에서 새로운 Topic Map을 구축하는 것은 많은 비용과 시간이 소요되는 등 어려운 일이다. 본 연구에서는 기 구축된 학술DB로부터 Topic Map에서 재활용할 수 있는 요소들을 추출하기 위한 정보 소스로서 데이터베이스 스키마와 MARC에서 언급하는 메타데이터를 이용하는 것은, XML의 특징인 시스템간 상호운용성을 확보함과 동시에 기초 학문자료의 복잡한 관계의 개념구조, 자료유형 및 자료간의 의미적 상관관계 등을 표현에 있어 효율적인 개발방법임을 제안한다.

분산된 데이터를 효율적으로 관리하기 위해 일반적으로 DBMS을 사용하고 있다. DBMS에는 여러 시스템들이 있지만 대부분 상용판매이기 때문에 시스템을 구축하는데 있어 비용적인 문제가 있을 뿐만 아니라 사용방법도 복잡하여 사용하기 어려운 면이 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 전문적인 지식 없이도 조작과 관리가 쉽고 체계적이고 통합적으로 관리가 가능하며 MS Office 제품과의 호환성이 뛰어난 MS-Access를 이용한 시스템구축 사례를 제안한다. MS-Access를 이용하면 서버나 기타 시스템 없이도 기존에 사용하고 있는 컴퓨터에서 데이터베이스를 운영할 수 있고 따로 전문적인 DB관리자가 필요가 없다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 점을 이용하여 프로젝트를 관리할 수 있는 시스템을 구현하였다. 이 시스템은 비용투자에 열악한 중소기업이나 비영리 단체에서 효율적으로 사용할 수 있다.

최근 다양한 분야에서 대량의 데이터를 수집하여 처리하고 분석하는 빅데이터 기술이 활용되고 있다. 빅데이터 분석을 위해서는 데이터 시각화 기술이 필수적이다. 본 논문에서는 REST API를 사용하여 시계열 데이터베이스에 데이터를 질의하고, 응답받은 시계열 데이터를 다양한 형태의 차트로 시각화하는 마이크로서비스(Graphgen)를 설계하고 구현한다. 이 서비스는 데이터의 변동에 따라 실시간으로 시각화 객체를 갱신하며, 대용량 데이터 처리의 성능저하를 최소화하도록 개발된다. Graphgen은 InfluxDB와 OpenTSDB 시계열 데이터베이스와 Bokeh 시각화 라이브러리를 지원하며, 추후 서비스 확장이 용이하도록 개발된다. 또한 부하 분산과 통합 배포 관리를 위하여 컨테이너를 기반으로 개발된다.

The purpose of this study is to suggest knowledge-based digital library model that is applicable in korea university library. This paper provides brief accounts of research and development trends of digital library in referring some major digital library projects that are in progress, or just completed. There follows a suggestion of eight essential modules for knowledge-based digital library system, that are infrastructure development of dissertation presentation and database construction, management and service of collections, infrastructure construction of journal service, development of unified viewer, database conversion, distributed & integrated retrieval system, cyber campus(private work space), and database connection.
