연구여적 - 행방불명된 국산 1호 비행기

  • 국산 1호 비행기 "부활호"는 46년 전 휴전협정에 막바지로 접어들 때 당시 필자가 출강하던 서울공대 항공공학과 학생들의 참여로 탄생했다. 그러나 이 "부활호"는 필자가 11개월의 미국 유학을 마치고 돌아와보니 행방불명이 되었는데 나중에 알아보니 미 공군 군사고문단에서 시험평가를 하기 위해 미국 본토로 가져갔다는 것이다. 우리 손으로 만든 국산1호 비행기가 그 실체는 없어졌지만 다행히 최근에 공군에서 실물대로 복원, 공군사관학교 박물관에 전시하고 있다.

Design, manufacturing and performance test of restorated airplane of Buhwal (부활호 복원 설계, 제작 및 성능 연구)

  • Airplane Buhwal is the first light airplane which is designed and made in South Korea. Restoration of airplane Buhwal is designed based on the one made by Korean Airforce in 2004 but there are some changes also. It uses aluminum main wing, electronic indicator, BRS(Ballistic recovery parachute) and black box for improved performance. In this paper, for the restorated Buhwal, major design changes are introduced, structure, aerodynamic and stability analysis are reviewed and improved performances which is proven through flight test are shown. This study will be a big help for domestic light airplane development.

  • This paper describes on the aerodynamic characteristics of the first domestically manufactured aircraft, Buhwalho, in Korea. The computational fluid dynamics(CFD) calculations and wind tunnel test were utilized to investigate the basic aerodynamic characteristics of aircraft with control surface deflections and attitude changes. Variations of lift, drag and pitching moment due to angles of attack and control surface deflections were analyzed and also flight stability due to side force, yawing and rolling moments caused by the change of sideslip angles, rudder and aileron deflections were discussed. Through this study, the meaningful aerodynamic data by CFD calculations and wind tunnel tests were obtained and the flight characteristics based on these data were confirmed accordingly by the flight tests.

  • 벤처업계가 본격적인 재도약의 시기를 맞이하고 있다. 벤처 부활의 청신호가 각종 지표와 실적을 통해 가시적으로 나타나고 있는 것. 벤처기업 숫자가 1만개를 돌파하고, 연매출 1000억을 기록한 '1000억 클럽' 기업도 70~80개로 예상되고 있다. 2004년 12월 정부의 '벤처 활성화 대책'이 발표 된 후 벤처 업계는 지난해 재도약의 기반을 다졌다는 평가와 함께 새로운 '봄날'을 맞았다.

The luminescent characteristics of $(Y,Gd)_2O_2S$: Eu for FED (FED용 $(Y,Gd)_2O_2S$ : Eu 형광체 합성 및 발광특성에 관하여)

  • The red emitting phosphors for low voltage cathode luminescent, fine $(Y,Gd)_2O_2$S : Eu powders were synthesized and investigated the effect of $Gd^{3+}$as sensitizer at variety of sintering temperature. The highly intense emission line of $(Y,Gd)_2O_2$S : Eu at 627 nm is attributed in the transition from $^5D_o to ^7F_2$ energy levels. It showed the maximum value at the doping level of 5 mole% of $Gd^{3+}$at $950^{\circ}C$ of sintering temperature and then, it was degraded rapidly. The mean particle size of $(Y,Gd)_2O_2$S : Eu was obtained around 1 fm and the cathode luminescent properties of (Y,Gd)$_2$O$_2$S : Eu were better than those of $(Y,Gd)_2O_2$S : Eu.

Novel and Sentimental Education: Sympathy and Empathy (소설과 감정교육: 공감과 동감)

  • This essay attempts a historical examination of educational function of the novel. It pays attention to the eighteenth century sentimentalism, and its historical vicissitudes up to early twenties century. The eighteenth century is the period in which debates on the nature of emotion and its moral and aesthetic role have passionately taken place and the modern paradigm of thought on affect has been formed. This is why "affect revival phenomenon" in the late twenties century goes back to this period. This essay finds in Adam Smith the most sophisticated arguments on sympathy in their relation to the development of the novel; it examines the relationship of Smith's argument with modern novel in the tradition of sentimentalism, and its revision in modernist novel. Through this examination, it discusses how cognitive and non-cognitive approaches, the two representative positions in contemporary thinking on emotion/affect, have revised and transformed the eighteenth century sentimentalism.

Partial purification and Properties of Alkaline Cellulase from Pseudomonas sp. AC-711 (Pseudomonas sp. AC-711이 생산하는 알칼리성 Cellulase의 부분정제 및 효소적 성질)

  • The cellulase components were partially purified from the culture filtrate of the alkalophilic bacterium Pseudomonas sp. AC-711 and its enzymatic properties were characterized. The specific activity of the purified major enzyme component was 3.5 units/mg protein as carboxymethyl cellulase and the yield was 23% of the total activity of the culture broth. The molecular weight of the component was 46,000 and the Km and Vmax on CMC were determined as $15.4mg\;mL^{-1}$ and $4.17{\mu}moles\;mL^{-1}\;min^{-1}$, respectively. The enzyme was stable at the temperatures below $60^{\circ}C$ and at the pH range of 4.0~11.0, and the optimal temperature and pH were $60^{\circ}C$ and pH 8.0, respectively. The enzyme activity was not significantly affected by the common surfactants (concentration: 0.05%) such as ${\alpha}$-olefin sulfonate, linear alkylbenzene sulfonate, sodium dodecyl sulfonate, hexadecyltrimethylammonium bromide and Tween 80. The enzyme was activated by the metal ions such as $Ca^{2+}$, $Cu^{2+}$, $Co^{2+}$, whereas inhibited by $Hg^{2+}$ and $Zn^{2+}$. The enzyme exhibited relatively high activity toward amorphous CMC as compared with crystalline substrates such as filter paper and avicel.

  • This is the study of efficient security system for candidates for the 17th President. The president election will be held in 20 countries this year. As conflicts between interest groups are expected to emerge, they are afraid of accidental raid in the campaign tour in addition to revival of regionalism and possibility of confrontation between interest groups with issues of anti-FTA In our country. The purpose of this study is to suggest appropriate method through study of security system for president candidate as just 6 months are left for the 17th president election. Also this study covers security environment for the president election, principle of security, and theoretical study for cause of terror, security system domestic and abroad and its analysis and how to provide the efficient security for president candidate. Therefore first, for desirable security the security should be provided by professional org like president security department. Second, combined security for target by current rules should be done. Fourth, total security is necessary to prevent security threats in advance. Third, the public security should be provided for every president candidates. Fifth, example of secret service in America should be studied and economical security should be considered Sixth, we should increase the use of Security Company and martial artists.

  • It is a known fact that the spread of multiplexes has contributed to movie industry flourish and extending public rights for enjoying movies. However, in terms of Urban Discourse, Multiplexes centered in new downtown have given rise to Doughnut Phenomena in old downtown. It is especially regrettable that the local theaters which have been symbolic cultural spaces storing the 'memory of life' of local communities are disappearing due to a recession of business zone in old downtown. Japan has long been worked in various activities spotlighting on movie/image contents as the major means of creative urban regeneration. Among them, the 'Community Cinema' has made a contribution to regional revitalization by improving movie screening environment of the local community through renewal of local theaters and further creating related culture and industry in the local area. In this study, I focus on 'Fukaya Cinema' which started from NPO(Non-Profit Organization) and reused a closed industrial facility to a movie theater in cooperation with local TMO(Town Management Organization). Fukaya Cinema, which operates in the form of a business community, plays important roles as the core cultural facility in the local community and is regarded as a significant case showing a possibility of urban regeneration using movie/image contents. I investigate the specific founding process and activities of Fukaya Cinema and intend to derive the implications from that. Through this, I aim to provide the basic urban regeneration data utilizing movie/media contents.

  • 최근 전 세계적으로 기후변화로 인한 자연재해가 빈번하게 발생하고 있으며, 우리나라 역시 해마다 가뭄과 홍수 등의 피해가 큰 실정이다. 특히 가뭄으로 인한 피해는 농업분야와 직결되어 있으며, 미래식량과 물안보에 영향을 미친다. 최근에는 국내 물관리일원화 정책에 따른 통합물관리 시행으로 수요관리에 의한 물이용 효율성이 물관리 기본원칙으로 포함되어 있어, 농업용수 분야의 물절약 필요성과 중요성은 더욱 증대되고 있는 실정이다. 농업농촌부문 가뭄대응 종합대책의 일환으로 2016년부터 농업용수 이용자 측면에서 물절약 실천을 유도하기 위한 물절약 교육 모델의 개발과 농업인 대상 시범교육이 실시되고 있으나 일부 지역에만 단발성 사업으로 제한적으로 추진되고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 물절약 교육 및 홍보사업을 보다 체계적이고 광법위하게 적용하여 농업 현장에서의 가시적인 물절약 성과를 도출하기 위한 노력이 요구된다. 이에 대한 일환으로 본 연구에서는 물절약 교육 콘텐트 개발 및 현장 교육에 반영하기 위하여 농업인 대상 물절약 의식과 행동실천 여부에 대해 조사를 실시해 보았다. 포항 및 영덕지역의 한국농어촌공사 관할지구 내 농업용수 이용자 중 수리시설감시원(이하 '수감원') 100여명을 대상으로 설문조사로 파악해 보았다. 설문에 참여한 수감원들은 대부분 65세 이상의 고령으로 농업에 오랜 기간 종사한 경험의 소유자로서 소규모 농업경영이 주를 이루었다. 대부분 농사기간동안 물부족 경험이 있었으며, 모내기 및 벼생육기 강우조건에 따라 물부족을 경험한 것으로 파악되었다. 이로 인해 설문 참여자들의 물절약 필요성에 대해서는 높은 공감대를 나타내었으며, 특히 농업인 대상 물절약 교육의 필요성에 대해서 매우 높은 공감대를 나타내었다. 농업인의 물과다 사용 및 물꼬관리 부실 등 필지단위 물관리 부실에 대해서도 상당히 인정하는 편이었으며, 이러한 농업인의 관행적인 물관리 행태에 대해서 변화를 유도할 수 있는 수리계조직 부활을 통한 농업인 물관리 직접 참여 등의 대안이 필요하다는 의견에 대해서도 긍정적이었다. 또한 농업인 용수이용에 대한 비용 부담에 대해서도 다소 긍정적인 의견도 제시되었다. 본 연구 결과로 농업인의 적극적인 물관리 및 물절약 참여를 이끌어 낼 수 있는 실현가능한 관련 제도 마련의 필요성과 체계적이고 지속적인 물절약 교육 및 홍보 정책 추진의 필요성이 제기된다.
