This study aimed to identify the correlation between internal/external motive, academic failure (emotion, behavior, task preference), depression (depressive emotion, behavioral disorder, loss of interest, self-degradation and physiological symptom), and academic efficacy of elementary school students with underachievement basic learning, and discover the influential variables on internal/external motive, targeting 56 elementary school students with underachievement in third and fifth grade of 10 elementary schools in G metropolitan city. The research conducted T-test to figure out the difference between the children with underachievement by year and carried out theregression analysis to identify the predictors of self-determination motives. First, there was a difference between the third and fifth graders in terms of the external motives. Second, the influential variables for external motives of children with underachievement included depressive emotion, loss of interest and physiological symptom. Therefore, as more third graders with underachievement study under the external motives compared to the fifth graders, it is concluded necessary to adopt a program to reduce the variables for depression that influence the external motives.

칠판과 분필만을 이용한 증명 위주의 기하 수업을 탈피하여 현장에서 사용할 수 있는 능동적인 교수${\cdot}$학습에 한가지 방법을 제시하고자 수학에 자신감이 없는 고등학교 1학년 학습 부진아를 대상으로 컴퓨터 프로그램, Tess를 이용하여 학생의 변환 개념에 대한 이해도를 조사하였다. 또한, 테셀레이션을 직접 만들어 가는 과정을 통하여 타 교과와의 수학적 연결성을 이해하고, 수학의 실용성과 실생활과의 연관성, 도형의 아름다움을 학생이 스스로 찾고, 발견하는데 초점을 두었다. 우리의 전통 문양도 수학교육에 충분히 이용될 수 있다는 사실을 확인할 수 있었고, 학생의 수학에 대한 태도가 크게 향상됨을 알 수있었다.

There are various efforts to alleviate problems about the learning disabilities each year, however, the number of the learning disabilities has been increasing. Therefore, we need to consider and develop practical methods to help them. In this aspect, we review and examine previous research regarding the learning disabilities which are known to be general and comprehensive. Then we suggest math clinic as one of the methods to alleviate the problem. There are purposes of the math clinic. The first is to make a comprehensive diagnosis for basic (emotional, environmental, psychological) reasons as well as the learning anxiety; not only the lower achievement in learning. The second is to provide them suitable corrective programs which would help them to gain a better understanding about mathematics and a positive learning attitude. The third is to provide them applicabilities in their learning and potentialities so that we have given them foundation in mathematics. In this article, we operate math clinic for the learning disabilities, and then make an analysis of the student's error occurred in learning, and finally we suggest a demonstrative operating program of math clinic for learning disabilities.

The purpose of this study is to know what is the difficulties that mathematics underachievers are suffering from the area of mathematical function and how to overcome this difficulties. For this study, we have selected two mathematics underachievers and carried out the inspection. The mathematics underachievers have undergone the difficulties of understanding mathematical problems, the difficulties from the deficit of prerequisite and basic learning, the difficulties of finding the answer typically and the difficulties of classifying an algebraic symbol, the difficulties of calculating the gradient of the straight line passing through two points.

본 연구는 초등학교 읽기 부진 학생의 학업 성취도를 증진시킬 수 있는 Blended learning 설계 전략을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 이에 따라 읽기 부진아의 원인 및 특성, Blended learning의 개념과 유형에 관한 선행연구를 고찰하고, 읽기 학습부진아의 원인과 개별적 특성을 바탕으로 오프라인과 온라인 학습을 결합한 Blended learning 설계 전략을 탐구하였다. 본 연구에서 제시하는 Blended learning 설계 전략에 따라 읽기 학습부진아를 지도한다면 읽기 학습부진아의 학습참여도 향상과 학업성취도 증진에 많은 도움이 될 것이며, 읽기 학습부진아 지도를 위한 학습 프로그램 개발에 필요한 노력과 비용이 줄어들 것으로 기대된다.

From this research, we want to get results that have interested the difference from character of students with the motivation of the learning, confidence and habit through the activity oriented class. When teacher teach students of the learning disability with participant class and activity class, they have encouraged and have positive disposition about mathematics. Therefore teachers should try to give chance doing in mathematics class to students with learning disability.

본 연구는 학습 부진아 진단 지식을 온톨로지로 표현함으로써 교사와 학생 간에 발생하는 학습 용어의 불일치성을 해소할 수 있으며 진단 과정에 있어 학습 부진아의 정보를 기반으로 한 추론을 기능하도록 한다. 또한 특정한 진단을 보여주는 일반적인 학습부진아 진단시스템과는 달리, 이러한 지식베이스를 이용하여 사용자에게 정확한 개념어(정답어)를 습득하게끔 해주고, 사용자의 인지 체계 속에 내포되어 있는 개념적 지식을 더욱 더 표면적으로 확장해 나갈 수 있는 온톨로지를 구축하는 방안을 제시한다.

본 사례 연구는 수학 교사로서 연구자가 학급에서 중간 정도의 학업 성적을 가지면서 특히 언어 영역이 상위의 학생이 수학 성적에서는 최하에 있는 수학 학습 부진을 보이는 한 여학생을 선정하여 매일 수학을 가르치면서 이 학생의 수학 학습의 부진 요인에 대한 해답을 찾고자 했다. 본 연구에서는 비구조화된 인터뷰, 관찰기록, 전화, 이메일, 부모와의 인터뷰이며, 객관적인 자료를 위해 수학 기본능력 검사, 수학 내신성적, 대학수학능력 모의고사, 진로탐색 검사 등의 자료를 수집하였다. 이렇게 수집된 모든 자료를 일기 형식의 연구 일지에 기록하여 이 학생의 변화에 대한 기록을 하였다. 본 연구에 따르면, 이 여학생은 낮은 지능과 잘못된 계열 선택, 기초학습 및 선수학습의 결손, 학교와 학급에 대한 부적응, 교사와 학생간의 부정적인 인간관계, 수학교과에 대한 불안감, 학습 실패 경험의 누적에 의한 자신감 상실, 학생의 능력 수준을 고려하지 않은 부모의 높은 기대치 등의 요인에 의해 수학 학습에서 어려움을 겪고 있는 것으로 나타났다.

This study analyzed subjectivity of underachievers on Peer Assisted Learning(PAS) in culinary skills related subject for providing better educational environment through consideration of educational efficiency of particular teaching method. Q Methodology was employed for analysing of responses of a small group of the students. The research found that three types of distinctive structures of responses of the students' subjectivity. The first one was Increase learning effectiveness type(Type1, N=8), the second one was Development of lesson materials for passive students(Type2, N=8), and the last one was Practical self-directed learning needs development(Type3, N=6). From the result, PAS was an effective teaching method for underachievers for encouraging participation of study program, helping to rise self-confidence in subject's tasks, and awareness of self directed learning and additional study on subjects matters. The study, however, found that students could consider themselves as an interruption to other students' study progress, and could feel other students' awareness as a burden. At last, forming a class by deeper consideration on the learning levels of each students and providing additional educational contents for encouraging self directed learning are necessary for the better efficiency for the future.

수학 교육이 해결해야하는 과제 중 하나는 학습 부진아 문제이다. 수학 학습 부진아 발생 원인은 학생의 수준에 맞지 않는 교재의 사용으로 인해 수학에 대한 흥미 부족, 이를 개선할 수 있는 교재의 미비, 부진아 지도를 위한 교사의 시간 부족 등이 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 문제점을 개선하기 위해 '도형아 놀자'라는 수학 학습 부진아 지도를 위한 교수 학습 시스템을 설계하였다. 학습 부진아의 수준에 부합된 맞춤식 교육을 목표로 7차 수학교과서의 도형 영역에 제시된 필수 학습 요소를 중심으로 교재를 재구성하였고, 수학과에 대한 흥미 및 자기 주도적 학습 능력을 길러주기 위해 교수 학습 방법으로 게임을 활용하였으며, 상호작용부분을 강화하여 가정과 연계된 교육이 가능하도록 시스템을 구성하였다. 이 시스템의 학습단계는 여러 가지 모양, 점, 선, 각, 평면도형, 합동과 대칭, 입체도형이라는 5단계로 각 단계의 시작과 끝에 평가를 실시하여 학습부진아의 수준을 정확하게 파악할 수 있도록 설계한다.
