  • 공간부족과 해안 매립으로 발생되는 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 초대형부유구조물이 각광 받고 있으며, 대표적인 구조형식으로는 폰톤식과 반잠수식이 있다. 하지만 다양한 환경에 적용하기에는 구조적으로 한계를 가지고 있으며, 이를 극복하기 위해 부유체 하부에 수직으로 결합된 실린더에 공기를 가두어 지지되는 공기안정식 플랫폼이 제안되어졌으나 아직 개념단계에 머무르고 있는 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 공기 안정식 초대형부유구조물의 실린더 내부 공기상태에 따른 안정성을 검토하기 위하여 유체정역학적 관계를 통해 실린더 내부의 공기 복원력 변수를 산정하였으며, 선형파랑하중에 따른 구조물의 응답을 최소화 할 수 있는 변수의 범위를 제시하였다.

Process Simulation of the BOG Re-Liquefaction system for a Floating LNG Power Plant using Commercial Process Simulation Program (상용 공정시뮬레이션 프로그램을 이용한 부유식 LNG 발전설비의 BOG 회수시스템 공정모사)

  • Environmental regulations have recently been strengthened. Consequently, floating LNG(Liquefied Natural Gas) power plants are being developed, which are new power generation plants that generate electricity by utilizing LNG. A floating LNG power plant generates BOG(Boil-Off Gas) during its operation, and the system design of such a plant should be capable of removing or re-liquefying BOG. However, the design of an offshore plant differs according to the marine requirements. Hence, a process simulation model of the BOG re-liquefaction system is needed, which can be continuously modified to avoid designing the floating LNG power plant through trial and error. In this paper, to develop a model appropriate for the floating LNG power plant, a commercial process simulation program was employed. Depending on the presence of refrigerants, various BOG re-liquefaction systems were modeled for comparing and analyzing the re-liquefaction rates and liquid points of BOG. Consequently, the BOG re-liquefaction system model incorporating nitrogen refrigerants is proposed as the re-liquefaction system model for the floating LNG power plant.

  • The importance of utilization of ocean space is increased due to high population and narrow land space. The development of a new technology for future use of ocean space, such as a design technology of Very Large Floating Structures(VLFS) is needed. This paper introduces the rime history analysis of superstructures on very large floating structures and proposes the estimation method of time displacement history considering wave loads. The dynamic responses of superstructure according to variation of period and amplitude are analysed using an example frame structure and the dynamic structural safety of VLFS pilot superstructure is evaluated.

  • 본 연구에서는 요소를 사용하지 않고 절점들만을 이용하여 해석이 가능한 수치기법인 무요소절점법(element-free Galerkin method)의 개념을 선형파의 회절 및 방사문제에 적용하는 방법에 대해 연구하였다. 파동장에 놓인 부유식 구조물에 의한 연직 2차원 경계치 문제를 해석 대상으로 하였고, 파랑과 구조물의 상호작용을 해석함에 있어 구조물에 작용하는 동유체력과 이로 인한 구조물의 동적응답을 계산하기 위해서 무요소절점법을 이용하였다. 무요소절점법의 수식화과정을 체계적으로 정리하였으며, 무요소절점법의 타당성 및 적용성을 입증하기 위해서 직사자형 부유체에 내한 수치해석을 실시하여 타 논문의 결과와 비교하였다. 또한 해의 정확도에 직접적으로 영향을 미치는 절점간격과 파수와의 관계에 대한 기준 설정을 위한 수치실험도 수행하였다.

Integrity Estimation for Concrete Pontoon of Floating Structure (콘크리트 부유식 구조물 함체의 건전성 평가)

  • This paper presents damage detection and estimation of stiffness parameter on a concrete scale model and a real structure of concrete pontoon using dynamic properties such as mode shapes and natural frequencies. In case of damage detection, dynamic impact test on a concrete scale model is accomplished to extract mode shapes and the practicality is verified by utilizing a damage detection technique. And the stiffness parameter of a real structure of concrete pontoon was estimated via system identification technique using the natural frequencies of the structure. The results indicate that the damaged elements of the scale model are found exactly using damage detection technique and the effective stiffness property of the real structure of concrete pontoon can be estimated by system identification technique.

  • A floating offshore structure has high tendency to occur the buckling when compressive, bending and shear loads applied. When the buckling is occurred, in-plane stiffness of structure is remarkably decreased. And it has a harmful effect on the local structural strength as well as global structural strength. In the present study, it has been investigated the ultimate strength of tubular members which is located between a floater and a damping plate of the floating pendulum wave energy converter. Nonlinear finite element method is conducted using the initial imperfection according to 1st buckling mode which is obtained from the elastic buckling analysis. It is also noted the ultimate bending strength characteristic varying with a diameter, thickness and stiffeners of the tubular member.

  • Dynamic response analysis is conducted for a floating bridge subjected to multiple support earthquake excitation. The floating bridge used in this study is supported by discrete floating pontoons and horizontal pretension cables supported at both ends of the bridge. The bridge is modeled with finite elements and the hydrodynamic added mass and added damping due to the surrounding fluid around pontoons are obtained using boundary elements. During the analysis the concept of retardation function is utilized to consider the frequency dependency of the hydrodynamic coefficients. Multiple support excitation is introduced at both ends of the bridge and the time history response is compared to that of a simultaneous excitation. The results show that the multiple support excitation yields larger values in some responses. for example in cable tensions. than the sumultaneous excitation.

  • 하천 유사량 특성 분석은 하천유역 내의 수리구조물 설계 및 유지관리, 하천개수 및 하도의 안정, 홍수터 관리, 저수지 설계 및 운영 등 수자원 개발 및 관리를 위한 하천계획의 필요한 요소 중 하나이며 현장 측정에서 분석까지 정밀한 일련의 과정을 통해서 알아낼 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 6개 지점(여주, 왜관, 진동, 공주, 나주, 구례2)에 대해 유사량 특성 분석을 수행하였다. 부유사량은 강우가 집중되는 홍수기(왕복수심적분법; D-74측정장비 / 표면채취법)를 중심으로 측정하였고 하상토의 경우는 Grab Sampler(60L), 선격자법 등을 이용하여 홍수기 전 후로 2회 채취하였다. 채취된 시료는 특성에 따라 여과법(부유사농도), BW관법(부유사입도분포), 체분석법(하상토입도분포)으로 분석하였으며, 이를 통해 산정된 평균 부유사농도, Oden Curve와 입도분포곡선 및 수리량(수위, 유속, 측정수심, 수면폭, 수면경사, 수온)등의 자료를 이용하여 총유사량(Modified Einstein 방법)을 추정하였다. 본 연구 결과는 다음과 같다.: 1) 유량-부유사량 및 총유사량 관계: 유량-부유사량의 관계에 있어 대체적으로 일관된 경향성이 나타났으며 총유사량과의 관계 역시 부유사량과 비슷한 경향성을 보임. 일부 성과의 경우, 총유사량과의 관계에 있어 Modified Einstein 조건의 불충족(자갈하상재료 또는 저유속)으로 부유사량과 동일추정이거나 추정불가 및 이상치가 나타남. 2) 유량-부유사량 특성: 전체적으로 루프현상을 보이며 초기 강우 사상에서는 더 많은 유사량이 발생하는데 이는 초기 강우에 의해 유사 이송이 활발하게 이루어지는 일반적인 특성임. 또한 수위 상승-하강에 따른 부유사량 자료가 더욱더 확보된다면 수위 상승과 하강부로 구분하여 분석하는 것도 의의가 있을 것으로 판단됨. 3) 유량-유사량관계식 개발: 개발된 관계식은 총유사량이 아닌 부유사량으로 개발되었으며, 측정성과들 간의 상관계수가 0.9723(구례2 지점) ~ 0.8490(나주 지점)으로 분석됨. 또한 개발된 관계식에 대한 신뢰도 분석을 실시하지 않았기 때문에 적용 시에는 주의가 요구됨.

A Study on the Design of Dolphin System for VLFS (부유식 해양구조물을 위한 돌핀 계류시스템의 설계 연구)

  • Dolphin mooring system can be a good candidate for the VLFS fastening system in view point of strength and effectiveness. In the design process of the dolphin system, precise calculation of the wave forces and the subsequent selecting the proper number of the piles adopted are one of the main factors. In this paper, one of the design process of the dolphin system is investigated and a proper configuration of the system is derived based on the structural characteristics of the system that was obtained through the structural analysis of the basic pile element confronted to the external loadings including wave impact load. It was found that lot the better design of ihe mooring system for VLFS, mono pile mooring system is more recommendable in a specific condition than other multi piles mooring system.

  • In this study, the analyzed turbine is a 5MW upwind-type wind turbine. This conceptual model was made to compare the results of the numerical analysis program in the IEA Annex23 Subtask2 OC3 project. The numerical analysis program used in this study is FAST developed by NREL and AQWA of ANSYS. Motion characteristics, such as RAO, average motion, significant motion and average amplitude of 1/10 highest motion were obtained through the numerical analysis. The results of the numerical analysis were compared with the results of other numerical analyses and the experimental results, and all the results agreed with one another. The results will help resolve the fundamental design trade-offs between basic floating system concepts.
