표면처리 박강판 spot용접 이음재의 응력분포와 부식피로강도 평가 (Evaluation of Stress Distribution and Corrosion Fatigue Strength on Spot Welded Lap Joint of Coated Thin Steel Plate)

  • Fatigue strength of the spot welded lap joint is considerably influenced by corrosive environments. Particularly, the chloride and the sulfide are most injurious to strength of the spot welded lap joint. Therefore, there is a need to evaluate its effect to corrosion fatigue strength for safe life design of spot welded structures. In order to evaluate their corrosion fatigue strength, corrosion fatigue tests on the spot welded lap joints of the uncoated and the coated high strength steel sheets were conducted in air and in 10% NaCl solution. Corrosion fatigue strength of the uncoated specimens were entirely lower than the coated one in NaCl solution, but those of the coated specimens in NaCl solution were lower than in air. And stress distribution in single spon welded lap joint subjected to tension-shear load was investigated by the finite element method. Using these results, we tried to evaluate corrosion fatgue strength of the various spot welded lap joints with maximum stress $\sigma_{max}$ at edge on loading side of the spot welded lap joint. We could find that corrosion fatigue strength could be quantitatively and systematically rearranged by $\sigma_{max}$.

이온질화 처리한 SM45C의 피로파괴거동에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Fatigue Fracture Behavior of Ion-Nitrided SM45C)

  • 본 연구에서는 이온질화처리한 SM45C강의 피로파괴거동, 피로크랙진전거동 및 부식피로파괴거동에 관한 $N_2:H_2$가스조정비와 이온질화처리시간에 대한 효과를 조사하였다. 실험에 사용된 모든 종류의 시험편의 피로한도와 부식피로강도는 $N_2$가스와 처리시간에 비례하여 증가하였다. 무처리 시험편에 비해 이온질화처리시험편은 피로한도 및 부식피로강도가 $10^7$싸이클의 공기중에서 $24{\sim}29%$, $10^6$싸이클의 3% NaCl 수용액 중에서는 $32{\sim}48%$ 증가하였다. 반복압축-인장하중을 받는 SM45C강은 이온질화처리시험편이 무처리시험편에 비해 피로한도 및 부식피로강도가 $10^6$싸이클의 공기중에서 $24{\sim}29%$증가하였고, 3% NaCl 수용액중과 수도물중에서 $32{\sim}48%$의 증가를 보였다. 이온질화처리한 SM45C강은 무처리시험편에 비해 낮은범위의 ${\Delta}K$ 영역에서는 균열진전속도가 느리고, 높은 ${\Delta}K$ 영역에서는 빨라졌다.

  • In order to develop a method of corrosion fatigue design and estimate reliability of TMCP steel using as the material of heavy industries and plants, its corrosion susceptibilities and corrosion fatigue life considering corrosion degradation were investigated. From the results, the corrosion characteristic of TMCP steel is very susceptible in 3.5wt.% NaCl solution. Its susceptibility was linearly increased with the solution temperature increase. The potential difference due to the crack growth behavior in $25^{\circ}C$, 3.5wt.% NaCl solution is very susceptible. And it was found that stress amplitude has a linear relationship with the critical potential. Therefore, it is expected that the corrosion fatigue life of TMCP steel can be nondestructively predicted using the DCPD method.

  • In the geothermal power, the geothermal fluid such as water or steam is moved from the ground to turbine a pipeline. Because the geothermal fluid with high temperature contains Cl-and SO4-, It cause to diminish the system lifetime due to the increase in the corrosion of pipeline. In the present work, the characteristics of corrosion and its fatigue of the sus316 which is used in the pipeline are evaluated experimentally. From this study, the following results can be obtained; for the case of the corrosion environment, it is found that the corrosion rate is faster than that of the steam environment by 10 to 30 times, and the corrosion fatigue limit is underestimated compared to that of steam state.

  • In the present study, complex leakage probabilities of nuclear pipes due to fatigue and stress corrosion cracking are evaluated by using the PINTIN(Piping INTegrity INner flaws) that is developed based on the existing PRAISE(Piping Reliability Analysis Including Seismic Events) program. With regard to the aging and crack instability, small leak and big leak probabilities are calculated for several pipes in a reactor coolant system of domestic nuclear plant. Moreover, sensitivity analysis is also performed to find out the effect of parameters for the leakage of pipes, which shows the coolant temperature is the most influencing parameter.

  • 차세대 원자력발전소 증기발생기 전열관 재료로 채택된 니켈기저합금으로 기존 전열관 재료인 인코넬600에 비해 고온 고압 조건에서 응력부식균열에 강한 장점을 가진 합금인 인코넬690 시료에 최대 에너지 120 keV의 질소 이온빔을 조사하여 이 재료의 기계적 특성 변화를 관측하였다. 특성 시험으로는 표면 경화를 관찰하기 위한 미세 경도 시험을 수행하여 미세 경도 증가를 확인하였다 아울러 표면 경화가 피로 특성에 미치는 영향을 관찰하기 위해 피로 균열 전파 시험을 수행하여 이온 주입으로 인한 표면 경화가 피로 균열 전파를 촉진시킴을 관찰하였다.

  • The object of this work is to develop an assessment system for pipeline integrity. The internal algorithm and the database of the system are described in this paper. The system consists of four module applications; the effect of corrosion in pipeline, crack, SCC (stress corrosion cracking) and fatigue module. The database of the system is separated to mainly four parts; geometry of pipeline, material properties, boundary condition and general properties. This system may give a guideline for maintenance and modifications.

  • 해수 중에 있는 구조용강에 음극방식을 실시했을 때의 피로균열진전 특성을 공기 중에서와 비교 하면서 정리하였으며 또한 몇 가지 영향인자들의 역할에 대해서도 기술하였다. 그러나, 이러한 특성들은 아직까지 그 정확한 메커니즘이 규명되지 못하고 있으며, 특히 균열선단에서의 소성 거동이 부식분위기나 수소분위기에서 어떻게 변화하는가 하는 문제에 대해서는 앞으로도 많은 연구가 이루어져야 할 것이다. 응력조건과 부식조건이 동시에 적용될 때, 재료의 거동을 직접 적으로 해석하기 어려운 경우가 많으며, 따라서 관련되는 많은 영향인자들의 역할에 대한 상세한 정보들이 요구되고 있으며, 또한 관련 정보들을 유기적으로 결합시키는 이론적인 근거를 마련 해야 할 필요가 있다.

  • To estimate the reliability of 12Cr alloy steel, the material of turbine blade in the steam power plant, Its corrosion susceptibility and fatigue characteristics in NaCl and Na$_2$SO$_4$solution with the difference of concentration and temperature was investigated. The polarization tests recommended in ASTM G5 standard for corrosion susceptibility in the various corrosive solutions was estimated. It showed that the higher temperature, the faster corrosion rates and corrosion rates were the fastest in 3.5 wt.% NaCl and 1M Na$_2$SO$_4$solution. From these results, the degradation conditions were determined in distilled water, 3.5 wt.% NaCl and 1M Na$_2$SO$_4$solution at room temperature, 60$\^{C}$ and 90$\^{C}$ during 3, 6 and 9 months. Its surface had a few pits for long duration. But, it was not susceptible in sulfide and chloride condition of several temperatures. If the degraded 12Cr alloy steel and non-degraded one were compared with fatigue characteristics, Any differences were not found regardless of temperature and degradation period.
