Comparisons between a Forest Road with a Coniferous Plantation and Distributed Vegetation on the Edge of a Forest, and Reclaimed Soil Seed Bank (식재 침엽수 숲길과 숲 가장자리 분포 식생 및 매토종자 비교)

  • The purpose of this study is to compare the differences in aboveground flora and underground flora between a forest road and a forest edge and to clarify each characteristic through ecological approach to a forest road. The study site was the forest planted with Pinus koraiensis and Abies holophylla, and located at an altitude of 45m($36^{\circ}36'23''N127^{\circ}21'45''E$). The width of the forest road is 3.2m. This research set the forest edge within the areas 5m away from the forest road and also conducted a survey on vegetation 5 times from september 2006 to August 2007. In addition, it installed thirty six quadrats to make an analysis of reclaimed soil seed bank. Soil amounting to 600$cm^3$ was collected from each quadrat using soil samplers(100$cm^3$),which was preserved in low temperature refrigeration for a month. Soil was thinly strewed evenly on trays and watered every four or five days; then, this research did experiment for six months until no more germination took place. Through this process, this research identified species and counted the number of germinating individuals by using emerging seedlings. The research result showed that on the whole, the similarity index between aboveground flora and underground flora was low. The correlation coefficient between the aboveground flora vegetations both on the forest road and on its edge was found to be 0.36, showing a correlation with each other(p<0.05). On the other hand, the correlation coefficient between underground flora vegetations through the analysis of reclaimed soil seed bank was 0.20, showing no correlation with each other(p>0.05). As the survey result of naturalized plants, there existed 7 species of naturalized plants on the forest road in case woody plants were included, showing 11.11% naturalization rate and 2.61% urbanization index(UI). On the other hand in case woody plants were not included among the naturalized plants, the naturalization rate on the forest road was 12.50% while the naturalization rate on the edge of the forest was 9.09%.

  • The effects of additives such as zinc compounds in 4M KOH electrolyte of Al-air cell have been studied. Zinc compounds in electrolyte increased hydrogen evolution overpotential and TPC(tripotasium citrate)/CaO formed fine film on aluminum surface, and these additives decreased hydrogen evolution rate and corrosion rate of aluminum. These additives shifted the OCP in the positive direction on high purity aluminum(purity, 99.999%) and in the negative direction on Al No 1050(purity,99.5%). Addition of two or more additives resulted in the prevention or the reduction of corrosion rate and hydrogen evolution at OCP. As the overpotential on Al electrode increased, the hydrogen evolution rate decreased and the utilization of aluminum increased. At high current density$(>100mA/cm^2)$, TPC/CaO/ZnO additives increased the utilization of high purity aluminum up to that of aluminum alloys containing indium, gallium and thallium.

  • 아연 박막은 부식으로부터 강판을 보호하기 위해 널리 사용 되고 있으나, 산업의 발전으로 코팅의 사용 환경이 가혹화 되어 박막 내식성의 향상이 요구 되고 있다. 최근 아연계 합금 박막의 개발을 통해 냉연강판의 내식성을 향상시키기 위한 연구들이 진행되고 있으며, 본 연구에서는 Zn/Mg/Zn 삼중층 박막을 합성하고 어닐링 열처리 온도에 따른 합금상의 변화와 그에 따른 박막의 내식성에 관한 연구를 진행하였다. XRD와 동전위 분극 시험 결과, MgZn 상이 형성 된 박막은 상대적 낮은 부식전위와 높은 부식 전류 밀도를 보였으며, 이는 MgZn 상 형성이 박막의 내식성 감소의 원인으로 작용한다는 것을 나타낸다.

  • 본 논문에서는 열분해 및 촉매반응의 의한 Hydrazine의 Ammonia 전환율을 연구하였다. 원자력발전소 2차 계통은 물/증기 순환계통으로 기기 및 배관의 부식을 억제하고, 증기발생기(Steam Generator, SG)의 부식생성물 유입을 최소하기 위해 전휘발성처리법(All Volatile Treatment, AVT)을 적용하여 계통수의 pH를 약염기성으로 유지하고 있다. 또한 Hydrazine을 이용하여 계통수의 용존산소제거 및 환원성 분위기를 유지하고 있다. 현재 사용되는 AVT는 대부분 단일 아민(Ammine)으로 계통 전 영역에서 pHt를 약염기성으로 유지하기 어렵다. 따라서 복합 아민을 이용하여 단일 아민의 상호단점을 보완한 수처리법을 적용해야한다. 하지만 복합 아민을 적용할 경우 추가 아민 주입설비, 설치부지, 시설유지보수 및 관리가 요구되므로 기존 주입약품을 이용하여 아민을 공급할 수 있는 연구가 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 Hydrazine의 열분해 및 촉매반응을 이용한 Ammonia 전환율을 조사하였다.

Polishing Behavior and Characterization of Cu Surface in Citric Acid based Slurry with Corrosion Inhibitor (BTA) (부식방지제(BTA)가 첨가된 Cu CMP 슬러리에서의 연마거동과)

  • 본 연구에서는 Cu 슬러리에 부식방지제인 BTA를 첨가하여 슬러리내의 과수의 농도, pH 의 변화, 연마입자의 종류에 따라 연마거동에 미치는 영향과 각 chemical 변화에 따른 Cu surface의 변화를 살펴보았다. BTA (Benzotriazole, $C_6H_4C_3H$)를 첨가함으로써 본 연구에서 시행된 pH 와 과수의 변화에 상관없이 Cu-BTA film을 형성하여 Cu의 dissolution을 최대한 억제하는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 또 그로인해 BTA를 첨가하지 않았을 때보다 얇은 passivation layer를 형성함을 알 수 있었고 contact angle도 더 높았다. 연마율의 경우에도 BTA가 첨가됨으로써 감소됨을 확인할 수 있었고 연마입자로 alumina particle을 사용한 경우에는 pH6, 과수 10vol%이상에서는 오히려 연마율이 증가하였다. fumed silica의 경우에는 hardness가 작아 mechanical적인 제거력이 낮아 BTA가 첨가되어도 연마율에는 큰 영향이 없었다.

  • 국내 경수로 원전의 경우, 원전의 효율적, 경제적 운영차원에서 장주기 운전으로 패턴을 바뀌면서 핵연료봉 표면상에 크러드(crud)의 침적량은 점점 증가하는 경향을 나타내고 있다. 이러한 경향은 원자로의 출력 제어와 직결되면서 이에 대한 문제 해결을 위한 대표성이 있는 시료의 채취와 재현성이 있는 부식 생성물의 측정이 요구되어져 왔다. 원자로 계통 내에서 부식생성물의 농도변화에 대한 평가, 특히 입자농도가 증가되어지면 축방향 출력편차(Axial Offset Anomaly, AOA)가 발생될 수 있는 위험에 노출되거나, 핵연료 교체를 위해 발전소 정지시(shut down) 부식생성물의 방출이 급격히 증가되는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 입자성을 띤 물질은 존재의 특성상 이들 물질에 대한 대표시료의 채취가 어려울 뿐 아니라 grab 채취로 인해, 분석결과에 대한 재현성이 낮으며 계통 선량율의 제어와 작업자 피폭관리에 많은 어려움이 뒤따르고 있어 선진 원전 운영국에서는 앞 다투어 대표시료를 채취 할 수 있는 capillary sampling 법이나 integrated sampling법을 적용해 오고 있다. 본 논문에서는 국내 경수로 원전에서 일반적으로 사용하고 있는 grab sampling 법에 대한 문제점 파악과 해외 원전에서 사용 중인 capillary sampling 법의 국내 적용 가능성에 대해 살펴보았다.

  • OPR-1000 CE Steam Generator, of which tube material is composed of Alloy-600 HTMA in nuclear power plant, secondary side is generated ODSCC(Outside Diameter Stress Corrosion Cracking) due to the accumulated sludge. ODSCC is centered around the tube sheet and is being affected depending on the height of the sludge. Chemical cleaning was carried out for a top-of-the-tube sheet(TTS) of Steam Generator in order to decrease corrosive condition of the secondary side of Steam Generator tubes and suppress the occurrence of stress corrosion cracking. The amount of sludge removal was 259.2kg. The height of the accumulated sludge was reduced from 0.71 to 0.34 inches. Corrosion rate as the maximum 2.34 mils was satisfied to within EPRI (Electric Power Research Institute) recommendation(10 mils).

Corrosion Stability of Iron Artifacts after Treating with Water Treatment (수처리제를 사용한 철제유물의 부식 안정성 연구)

  • Desalination is the main focus of the stabilization of iron artifacts. However, drawbacks such as re-corrosion are noted due to the uncertainty in the elimination of the corrosive factors and artifacts. Several studies have been carried out on the effects of corrosion inhibitors to overcome these shortcomings. In this study, the effects of type 3 water treatment on corrosion inhibitors were investigated. Surfaces of samples that contained film corrosion inhibitors on their surfaces were analyzed. The results revealed that the surface rust was removed from the sample of type 1 No. 2 that was mainly composed of phosphate. The average weight reduction rates of re-corrosion samples were 0.58, 0.03, and 0.07% for type 1 No. 2, type 2 No. 2, and type 3 No. 2 respectively. The changes in the $Cl^-$ ion, a corrosive agent were found to be 28.60, -4.08, and -1.94 ppm for type 1 No. 2, type 2 No. 2, and type 3 No. 2 respectively. The water-treated films were analyzed by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). It was found that type 2 No. 2 had less Fe the basis metal, than that in type 3 No. 2 indicating much better film. Moreover, Si content was higher in type 2 No. 2, based on the silicate content, than in type 3 No. 2. They are speculated to be the reason or the formation of a better film. Type 1 No. 2, which is mainly composed of phosphate, would be inappropriate as a metal artifact conservation treatment. It was determined that type 2 No. 2 and type 3 No. 2 water treatments, which are mainly composed of silicate, provided excellent corrosion inhibiting effects. Corrosion inhibitors could be used as emergency treatment agents during the excavation of iron artifacts.

Flexural Capacity Evaluation of Reinforced Concrete Members with Corroded Steel Expansion and Debonding Area at the Interface Steel to Concrete Surface (철근부식 팽창 및 비부착 구간에 따른 RC 부재의 휨 성능 평가)

  • This paper presents experimental and analysis studies about both the corroded steel expansion and the variation of poor bonding range between steel and concrete. A loss of overall bonding capacity at the concrete-steel interface is evaluated experimentally and crack patterns at the bottom of the concrete are presented here. Steel-concrete interface is covered by rubber due to present local loss of the concrete-steel interface bonding capacity. In case of crack analysis performed by commercial FEM programs. we investigated crack‘s pattern and location. Finally, it is concluded that overall flexural capacity of the reinforced concrete structure is increased by the corroded steel expansion and is dependent of the bonding range at the steel- concrete interface. These results give an important factor to decide a life of reinforced concrete structures.
