지난 5월 27일부터 30일까지 일산 킨텍스에서 열린 '코리아팩 2008'이 참관객 3만여 명, 상담실적 약 1630억 원을 기록하며 막을 내렸다. '미래, 환경 그리고 좋은 포장'이라는 주제 아래 13회째 개최된 이번 행사 참가업체는 지난 해보다 20%가량 늘어난 30개 국 650여 업체였다. 1700개 부스 규모로 진행됐으며 상담실적도 30% 증가한 것으로 나타났다.

자동차 도장 작업 시 배출되는 대표적인 용매물질인 부틸아세테이트, n-부탄올 및 톨루엔을 대상기체로 하여 활성탄에 의한 흡착 특성을 연구결과는 다음과 같았다. 처리대상가스의 유입농도가 증가할수록 파과시간은 점점 감소하였으며. 파과곡선의 기울기 또한 급격해졌다. 유량이 증가할수록 파과시간은 감소하였다.

LED에 대한 신기술 및 시장 동향을 한 눈에 알아볼 수 있는 '국제 LED 엑스포 2009'가 지난 5월 20일부터 23일까지 나흘간 일산 KINTEX에서 개최됐다. 올해로 7회째를 맞는 이번 전시회는 새롭게 출범한 삼성LED를 비롯해 금호전기, 태원전기산업, 우리조명, 넥손, 다산에이디, 루미마이크로, 와이즈파워, 한솔, 빛샘전자 등 기술 경쟁력을 갖춘 국내외 228개 업체가 474부스 규모로 참가했다.

As the industry of 21C has been developed, the gas industry has been grown and its convenience but it accompany risk for using gas. Therefore, we designed a vent area to prevent the collapse of the booth by the explosion pressure during test. The explosion booth was installed fur training safety supervisors to aware the risk of gas explosion. The vent area was designed based on the exhaust model of NFPA 68. It was calculated at $2.8297m^2$ for LPG and at $3.0518m^2$ for NG.

한국 젊은 천문학자들의 모임(Korea Young Astronomers Meeting, KYAM)은 지난 8월 18일부터 22일까지 대전광역시 대전 컨벤션 센터에서 개최된 제12회 국제천문연맹 아시아태평양지역 총회(12th Asia-Pacific Regional IAU Meeting, APRIM 2014)에서 부스 전시에 참여하였다. 부스에서는 자체 제작한 전통 부채를 방문자에게 배포하였으며, 천상열차분야지도의 탁본을 직접 찍어 볼 수 있는 체험 활동을 진행하였다. 이 활동을 통해 KYAM 및 천상열차분야지도와 첨성대와 같은 우리나라 고유의 천문학적 유물에 대한 홍보 활동을 수행하였다. 더불어 8월 19일 저녁 모임을 개최하였고, 이를 통하여 한국인 36명 및 외국인 24명을 포함하여 총 60명의 젊은 천문학자들이 모여 친목 도모 및 교류의 시간을 가질 수 있었다. 본 포스터 발표에서는 이와 같은 APRIM 2014 기간 KYAM에서 진행한 활동에 대해 보고할 것이며, 앞으로의 KYAM의 활동 계획에 대해 논의하고자 한다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze characteristics of set-booth in beauty salon as well as to suggest the basic design data for franchise beauty salon. The method of this research was based on field observation of the franchise beauty salon in Seoul. The results of this research are as follows. 1) In set-booth type analysis, set-mirror wall type and set-mirror partition type are mainly used, but set-mirror table type is not showed in this research. 2) In terms of scale, wall type and partition type are classified as large scale, wall type and partition type are used as meduim scale. In shop front analysis, the result is shown in two things. If it is type, they used partition type and if it is close type, they used wall type. 3) Set-mirror is consisted of mirror and drawer and it is classified by 4 types with combination method. In a result, most of them used separated mirror type because they want to emphasize the separation between set booth and its layout. 4) Lighting method has 4 types; corniced type, bracket type, pendant type and downlight type. Among them, downlight is showed as the most-used.

Most of the previously proposed methods for the frailty model do not work well when there are many tied observations. This is partly because the empirical likelihood used is not suitable for tied observations. In this paper, we propose a new method for the frailty model with many ties. The proposed method obtains the posterior distribution of the parameters using the binomial form empirical likelihood and Bayesian bootstrap. The proposed method yields stable results and is computationally fast. To compare the proposed method with the maximum marginal likelihood approach, we do simulations.

The aim of this study is to establish the actual conditions of the exhibition's facilities, especially on the focus of the exhibition booth. In general, exhibition booths are perfectly advanced on time. So, we surveyed on 14 convention center which each province has one or two in nation, and then analysed types of exhibition focused on booth type. Second survey of exhibition of booth exhibition in COEX. We find that the present system of the booth's design, however, neither meets this qualification nor has the standard one. And they also have no recycling and reusing of it. Therefore, our study makes a suggestion that the present booth system will be replaced with new one. The conclusion of this study is as follow; firstly, the booth of iron system which has standardization, but it needs to prove design. and the booth of wood system which has various design, to prove standardization. Secondly, mixed booth of iron and wood system that is able to require from users will be designed as soon. Finally, there are several types of exhibition booth that have a flexibility as follows; rectangle system, triangle system, and freely system.
