Simulation of Evacuation Dynamics of Three Types of Pedestrians with Morality (도덕성을 가지는 세 종류의 보행자에 대한 긴급대피 동역학 시뮬레이션)

  • The problem of evacuating pedestrians from a room or channel under panic conditions is of obvious importance in daily life. In recent years, several computer models have been developed to simulate pedestrian dynamics. Understanding evacuation dynamics can allow for the design of more comfortable and safe pedestrian facilities. However, these models do not take into account the type and state of mind of pedestrians. They deal with pedestrians as particles and the state of mind as a social force, which is represented by conservative and long-range interactions between individuals. In this study, I used the lattice model proposed in my previous study to explore the evacuation behavior of pedestrians with morality. In this model, three types of pedestrians are considered: adults, children, and injured people. Collisions between adults and children result in injured people. When the number of injured people continuously in contact with each other reaches a given value k, the injured people are removed from the lattice space. This situation is the same as that in which pedestrians start stepping over injured people. This behavior was interpreted as the morality of pedestrians. Simulations showed that the evacuation showed down and eventually became jammed owing to the injured people acting as "obstacles" in relation to the morality k.

  • 구조물의 대형화, 고층화에 따라 화재로 인한 인명피해 및 물적피해가 증가하고 있다. 최근 10년간의 인명피해 중 사망자는 매년 평균 6.3% 증가하였고, 부상자의 년평균 증가율은 5.1%로, 2002년에만 531명의 사망자와 1,853명의 부상자가 발생하였다. 2002 년 한 해 동안 34,000여건의 화재가 발생하였으며 이 가운데 건물화재는 약 80%를 차지하고 있다. 인명피해는 대부분 건물화재에서 발생하였으며, 불연내장재의 사용증가에 따라 화염 및 영에 의한 화상 등의 직접적인 피해보다는 일산화탄소 중독이나 질식사 같은 연소가스에 의한 피해가 증가하는 추세이다.(중략)

  • 사망자 또는 다수의 부상자가 나오는 큰 사고가 발생하면, 경찰.검찰에 의해 사고의 원인 규명을 위한 책임추급을 목적으로 하는 사고수사와, 사고의 재발 방지를 목적으로 하는 사고조사가 이루어진다. 이는 법률위반을 한 사고책임자를 찾아내어 처벌하고, 그것을 통해 예방효과를 노리는 것이다.

A Study on Training System for Fire Prevention based on Virtual Reality (가상현실 기반 화재대응 훈련 시스템에 관한 연구)

  • According to the National Statistical Office, the number of fires was the 42,135 items in 2014, it has increased reviews 1203 compare with 2013. In addition, the sum of the property damage 2,560 billion, injured number 1,599 people, it was announced in deaths number 263 people. Although Korea government have announced many fire manuals for fire prevention, the reason that many of the wounded and the dead occurred is because people have recognized fire riskiness in just only head simply from manual. In this paper, the simulation system for prevention of fire based virtual reality is proposed to solve this problems. The people who trained by proposed system can recognize and realize fire riskiness more than fire writing manuals.

Analysis of Actual State of Motor Vehicle Fires in Korea (자동차화재 실태 분석)

  • The actual state of motor vehicle fires was analyzed based on Annual Report on Fire Statistics and National Fire Data System and as a result, the followings were obtained. Motor vehicle fires occur over 16 cases every day with over 0.5 casualties and direct property loss of 50 million won. Most motor vehicle fires are caused by mechanical reasons, followed by electrical factors and arson. Arson accounts for 7.39% of all fires but 13.79% of all motor vehicle fires. Yearly fatalities and casualties per 100 motor vehicle fires were 0.9 and 2.4 on the average, respectively. Although fires which occur in the expressway account for 12.55% of all motor vehicle fires, fatalities, casualties, and property loss caused by motor vehicle fires in the expressway were 16.12%, 21.05%, and 20.65%, respectively.

  • The number of deaths from child traffic accidents in Korea is currently higher than the average figure of OECD members, and attention needs to be paid to reduce the school zone accident rate. According to the TAAS statistics of the Traffic Accident Analysis System, the number of deaths from traffic accidents in children (under 12 years of age) in Korea has been steadily decreasing recently, but the number of accidents and injuries has been continuously increasing and decreasing. With the number of accidents and injuries of children in Korea continuing to increase and decrease, the number of traffic accidents, deaths, and injuries of children in the school zone (under 12 years of age) has also been on the rise since 2019. Therefore, we were different from the preceding study (Study on Improvement through School Zone Accident Risk Survey, Study on Improvement of Children's Traffic Safety Facilities through Simulation Program). In order to prevent traffic accidents among school zones, which have the highest accident rate among children, a survey was conducted on traffic safety facilities and safety awareness of drivers. After that, we will analyze the problems and present measures for improving traffic safety in the school zone and improving drivers' safety awareness.

지진의 집중현상 우연아니다

  • 3월 5일 오전 4시 23분경 유럽 중동부에 최악의 강진이 밀어 닥쳤다. 유럽사상 가장 강력한 지진의 하나인 이번 지진은 강도 7.5리히터였다. 루마니아를 비롯해 구주중동일대에서 기천명의 사망자와 많은 부상자 그리고 막대한 시설 건물, 도시의 황폐를 갖어온 무서운 지진이였다. 특히 부크레시티와 그 북쪽 60km의 루마니아 유전중심도시인 폴로에마스티는 거의 폐허화되었다. 라마에서 빈 베오그라드 부크레시티를 거쳐 모스크바에 이르는 광역의 지진은 처처에 혼잡을 이루었고 비상사태를 빚었다. 이같은 지진을 막을길은 없으나 인명의 피해는 줄일수 있지 않을까

A case study of methanol explosion by metal hydroperoxid (유기 과산화물에 의한 메탄올 폭발 사례 연구)

  • 1991년 6월 신규 계면활성제 [${\alpha}-SF$]의 제조 공정의 하나인 메탄올 정류탑에 있어서 폭발사고가 발생했다. 폭발 형태는 ${\ulcorner}$폭굉${\lrcorner}$ 이였다 라고 판단되어지고 정류탑은 대파되었으며 탑벽 파편은 대강 900m 범위로 비산되었고 사망자 2명, 부상자 13명의 피해를 입었다. 원인물질은 계면활성제의 표백으로 사용하는 메탄올과 과산화수소에 의해 미량 생성한 유기과산화물(Metal Hydroperoxide)에서 정류탑의 운전정지과정 중에 공급액의 $0.1\%$부터 수십$\%$까지 국부적으로 농축되어져 열 폭발을 일으킨 것으로 추정 되어진다.
