A Study on Image perception According to Accessories - Materials and Forms of Earring - (액세서리에 따른 이미지 지각의 차이 - 귀걸이의 재료와 형태를 중심으로 -)

  • The objectives of this research were to find out factor of image perception about women's accessories, to test differences in image evaluation according to materials and forms, and to investigate differences in image evaluation according to total stimuli. The results of this study were as follows. First, the accessory image factor derived four categories: attractiveness, prettiness, gorgeousness, and soft. Second, in two dependent variables, material and form had no significant interaction effects on attractiveness, prettiness, gorgeousness, and soft. In main effect, there was a significant difference of attractiveness, prettiness, and gorgeousness according to form. That is, the lined types had better prettiness and gorgeousness than the attachable ones. There was a significant difference of attractiveness, prettiness, gorgeousness, and soft according to materials. That is, pearl was considered to be the most attractive and soft. Plastic was evaluated image of least fashionable and soft, gold did image of the least gorgeous. Third, the attractiveness of attachable diamond earring was evaluated the highest, and the lined plastic ones did the lowest. It was evaluated and concluded that the lined plastic ones is considered the prettiness and most gorgeous where as any earring with attachable gold earring were considered the least prettiness and gorgeous. The attachable silver or pearl earrings were considered to be projecting the softest image whereas the lined gold and attachable plastic ones the opposite.

조형성에 있어서 한국의 부드러움과 일본의 예리함에 관한 연구 - 광고디자인을 중심으로 -

  • 우리의 문화적 특성은 어떤 것인가 관심과 노력 그리고 연구는 오늘날까지 문화인류학, 사회학, 예술 등 다양한 분야에서 지속되고 있다. 디자인 분야에서도 마찬가지인데 특히 광고계에서 국적있는 광고, 한국적 과고라는 명제로 많은 크리에이터들이 그 실체를 찾으려 고민하고 있으며 각종 광고사보에 단편적인 글들이 게재되고 이다. 어떤 대상의 특질을 살피기 위해서는 시각(視角)의 중요성이 대두되는데 한 나라의 문화유형도 마찬가지임은 말할 것도 없다. 1994년부터 문화인류학적으로 연구된 유수한 저시로 오늘날까지 일본론의 고전이라할 루드베네딕드의 <국화와 칼>은 서양인의 눈에서 일본을 보고 서양과 비교하여 일본인을 서정적이며 자연을 사랑하는 우수한 민족으로 그리고 있다. 일본인이 쓴 일본에 대해<日本人\ulcorner表現心理>에서 \ulcorner\ulcorner\ulcorner는 "일본만큼 자연을 사랑하는 민족은 없다. 부자연 싫어한다. 자연관, 자주관은 담백, 표백, 무상"이라 쓰고 있다. 우리는 한국의 그림이나 도자기 등의 조형성을 이야기할 때 여백의 미라는 말을 종종한다. 그런데 차후 본 연구에서 다루어지겠으나 다나까이꼬의 그름에 대하여 가메꾸라유사구는 그것을 여백의 미라 하면서 일본적임을 강조하고 있다. 한국과 일본은 문화형성 배경에 있어 유사한 문화적 특질을 공유하고 있는 것은 사실이나 학문적 중립성에서 두 조형성을 비교해볼 때 일본인이 말하는 여백과 한국의 여백, 그리고 일본의 자연적인 것과 우리의 그것은 전연 상이한 것이다. 이렇게 일본과 지정학적으로 가까이 위치하고 있으며 고대사에서는 한 문화를 이루었고 근대사에서는 30여 년간 구체적인 문화를 경험한 한국인의 시각에서 바라본다는 것은 훨씬 근접한 이해에 도움을 줄 수 있을것이라 생각된다. 한국인의 시각에서 일본을 보면 베네딕드나 방하 수의 인식이 얼마나 편견인가 하는 것을 실감하게 된다. 본 연구는 일본의 문화속성 가운데 내재되어 있는 구체적인 조형성을 발굴함으로써 한구그이 조형성으로 필자가 유추하고 있는 '부드러움'이라는 개념을 상대적으로 명확히하고자 하는 데 그 의의가 있다.

  • This study surveyed the physical properties of the domestic and foreign worsted fabrics which are used for men's garments. For this purpose, forty specimens which were divided into 1st fourteen specimens and 2nd twenty six ones were prepared and the physical property assessment by Blind field test was carried out by test committee. The subjective test items by Blind field test were chosen as handle(softness, flexibility), color(brightness, deepness), appearance(cleanness, natural lustre) and comparison priority.

The Selection of the Optimum Cherry Tomato Cultivar for Hydroponics (수경재배에 적합한 방울토마토의 품종선발)

  • Cherry tomatoes(Lycopersicon esculentum) were grown in circulating deep flow hydroponic system. The pH of the nutrient solution was increased and the EC was decreased with time. The clusters of ‘Mini Carol’ were branched severely, whereas those of ‘Chelsea Mini’ and ‘Popo’ were a little branched or not. The vegetative growth was similar between cultivars. But the yield of fruits was by far the largest in ‘Mini Carol’ compared to other cultivars, and not different between ‘Chelsea Mini’ and ‘Popo’. Internal qualities of fruits, like as sugar, sugar/organic acid, and vitamin C, are good in ‘Mini Carol’. As the result of panel test, ‘Mini Carol’ is good for softness, easeness of eating, toughness of skin and so on, so it is believed that ‘Mini Carol’ is the most acceptable to consumers in hydroponic culture.

  • In this study, cationic guar polymer was selected from many cationic polymers currently using in shampoo and then was newly developed having 0.7 % above of nitrogen content and 190~200 cps of viscosity through various performance measurements. Wet combing ability, polymer substantivity, silicone deposition and panel test were evaluated for performance measurements. Cationic guar polymer that was invented from this study can optimize conditioning effects in shampoo.

Product Hardness Preference According to Consumer Goal Achievement Status (소비자의 목표 달성 상태에 따른 제품 경도 선호)

  • Based on goal-achievement and embodied cognition theories, this research investigates how goal-achievement status, which is specified into goal under-achievement, achievement, and over-achievement, influences one's preference for the degree of hardness (vs. softness) in products. The results reveal that consumers who have not yet reached or who just met their goals compared to those who over-achieved their goals want their products (e.g., pillows, mattresses, chairs) to be firm rather than soft. Existing embodied cognition studies have mostly focused on how physical experiences affect consumers' judgments and product preferences, whereas this research shows that consumers can automatically pursue physical experiences according to their goal achievement status.

The Effect of Lotus Root Powder on the Quality of Dasik (연근가루 첨가가 다식의 품질특성에 미치는 영향)

  • The objective of this study was to evaluate the quality characteristics of lotus root Dasik prepared by different additions of lotus root powder (0%, 20%, 40%, 60%, 80%). As the level of lotus root powder in the formulation increased, the moisture contents of samples increased. Also, the L-, a-, and b-values of samples significantly decreased as the amount of lotus root powder increased. According to the results for mechanical characteristics, hardness, gumminess, springiness, cohesiveness, and chewiness decreased, whereas adhesiveness increased, as the amount of lotus root powder increased. The sensory evaluation results showed that the 40% lotus root sample received the highest preference scores; therefore, the 40% lotus root Dasik prepared with 60 g of flour, 40 g of lotus root powder, and 80 g of honey was chosen as the superior product.

Extraction of Representative Emotions for Evaluations of Tactile Impressions in a Car Interior (자동차 인테리어의 촉감 평가를 위한 대표감성 추출)

  • There are few that evaluate tactile emotion as it pertains to car interior parts, while studies on visual evaluations of car interiors as well as usability tests in a visual sense are numerous. The purpose of this study is to determine typical in-vehicle tactile emotions so that they can be used to evaluate tactile impressions of car interior parts. 52 words related to tactile impressions of car interiors were gathered from a survey in conjunction with an in-vehicle test, interviews with the car salespersons, and an analysis of car reviews. After a factor analysis with 52 words, 10 categories of major tactile emotions were clustered. These were roughness, toughness, friction, comfortability, stiffness, softness, temperature, sleekness, familiarity, and flexibility. These representative tactile emotions regarding a car interior can be used to evaluate tactile impressions of surfaces such as leather, plastic, metal and wood when used as parts in car interiors.

Physicochemical and sensory characteristics of pizza dough prepared with domestic and imported wheat flour (우리밀과 수입밀로 제조한 피자반죽의 이화학적 및 관능적 특성 비교)

  • This study was carried out to evaluate the feasibility of using domestic wheat flour as ingredient of pizza dough by examining the physicochemical and sensory properties of the dough. Five pizza dough samples were prepared with different ratio of domestic and imported wheat flour. Significant differences were observed in crude protein content, crude ash content, and color of the pizza dough samples; however, no significant difference was found in mechanically measured rheology. A sensory evaluation based on 23 descriptive attributes indicated significant differences between pizza dough made from domestic wheat flour and that made from imported wheat flour for springiness and softness of the surface, roughness, and chewiness (p<0.05). Principal component analysis showed that the greater amount of Korean wheat flour in the dough resulted in different values from negative to positive ends of principal component 1 (37.4%).

Image Retrieval Using Combination of Color and Multiresolution Texture Features (칼라 및 다해상도 질감 특징 결합에 의한 영상검색)

  • We propose a content-based image retrieval(CBIR) method based on an efncient combination of a color feature and multiresolution texture features. As a color feature, a HSV autocorrelograrn is chosen which is blown to measure spatial correlation of colors well. As texture features, BDIP and BVLC moments are chosen which is hewn to measure local intensity variations well and measure local texture smoothness well, respectively. The texture features are obtained in a wavelet pyramid of the luminance component of a color image. The extracted features are combined for efficient similarity computation by the normalization depending on their dimensions and standard deviation vectors. Experimental results show that the proposed method yielded average $8\%\;and\;11\%$ better performance in precision vs. recall than the method using BDIPBVLC moments and the method using color autocorrelograrn, respectively and yielded at least $10\%$ better performance than the methods using wavelet moments, CSD, color histogram. Specially, the proposed method shows an excellent performance over the other methods in image DBs contained images of various resolutions.
