This study investigated the effects of corrective exercise and TECAR on cervical alignment, pain threshold, and pain in forward head posture patients. The subject includes 30 forward head posture patients. In the intervention methods, the experimental group combined corrective exercise and TECAR treatment. Only the corrective exercise was applied to the control group. Assessments were made on cervico vertebra angle (CV angle), pain pressure threshold (PPT) and neck disability index (NDI) visual analog scale (VAS). The intervention was conducted six times a week for two weeks. Both groups showed significant differences in CV angle, PPT, NDI, and VAS. Also, PPT, NDI, and VAS excluding CV angle were significantly improved in the study group compared to the control group. These results suggest that the intervention method that combines corrective exercise and TECAR treatment has a more positive effect on pain and ADL ability of forward head posture patient.

The purpose of this study is to understand in depth the experiences regarding the healing of stress that takes place in the process of the job performance of fire fighting officers. For this, by having seven incumbent fire fighting officers as the subjects of the research, the individual in-depth interviews had been conducted. As a result of analyzing their experiences based on the phenomenological research method of Colaizzi, the 17 topic bundles, 5 subcategories, and 3 categories were derived. Regarding the results of the research, firstly, it appeared that the stress resulting from the job performance in the diverse processes of solving the petitions experienced as the obsessive anxiety, feeling of depression and sleep disorder, etc. Secondly, it had appeared that fire fighting officers show the strong feeling of pride and sense of calling regarding the job performance, but their dread regarding the life after the retirement was high. Thirdly, it appeared that such stress were offset and healed through the positive experiences, including the professional vocation, companionship and support by the family, etc. Because the high job stress gets developed into the continuous and complex physical problems and the emotional and psychological problems, it shows that there is a limitation to the healing with only the professional calling, companionship and support by the family. As such, for the healing of stress that takes place in the job performance by fire fighting officers and not just for the environmental improvements that are related with the job, but for the psychological and emotional support, this research arrived at the point of the suggestion that the operations of the complex and systematized supporting programs, including the strengthening of vocation and companionship, emotional support by the family etc., must be carried out.

Digital braille music is an indispensible instrument for the blind persons to enjoy music and to proceed the more professional music education. Producing braille music requires professionals such as braille translators thereby it costs money for an individual to order braille music. Therefore, public libraries involve in producing and distributing braille music. Current status of digital braille music in Korea has been far from the fulfillment with the unmet needs of the blind people for diversity in their music preferences. This paper analyses the present condition of braille music possession in Korea National Library. Based on the analysis, policy proposals has been proposed.

전신적인 침범없이 후두에만 국한되는 악성 림프종은 매우 드믄 예로서 일반적으로 두경부에만 국한된 방사선 치료로 근치 가능하다. 그러나 때때로 급성 호흡 곤란을 초래하여 응급 기관 절개와 복합 항암제를 투여해야 되는 경우를 간혹 경험하게 된다. 본 증례는 수 개월간 지속되어온 애성과 최근에 갑자기 심해진 호흡 곤란으로 급성 후두염이란 임상 진단명으로 보존적인 치료를 하였으나 증상이 호전되지 않아서 후두조직 검사 결과에서 비 호즈킨 림프종으로 확진되어 6회의 복합 항암제를 투여한 다음 남아있는 병변에 대한 45 Gy의 외부 방사선 치료후 촬영한 전산화 단층 촬영에서 완전 관해를 보였으며 진단후 10개월이 지난 현재 무병 상태를 보이는 환자를 경험하였기에 간단한 문헌 고찰과 함께 보고한다.

This study evaluates representability and comprehensivity of the Theasurus in theeconomics and industry fields of the "General Thesaurus of Newspaper Articles." The methodsused in the study were, first, indexing of the pages covering economics and industry articlesusing the Thesaurus and second, comparing the Thesaurus terms with the words collectedfrom the newspapers articles and glossaries. The study clarifies the following problems whichmight occur in the construction and use of newspaper thesaurus: specificity of the subjectconcepts, separation of component concept, preference relationship between descriptors andentry terms, the methods of recording of proper nouns and allocation of terms among thesubject areas concern.he subject areas concern.

Objectives This clinical study is aimed to examine the effects of herbal medication and pharmacopunture on child with different types of alopecia. Methods 13 year old girl was treated with Hominis placenta pharmacopuncture microneedle therapy system and Ganoderma lucidum pharmacopuncture mesotherapy on the alopecia lesion for 20 months. Herbal medication, meridian pharmacopuncture therapy and physiotherapy were also used to reduce physical symptoms. Results The patient had a relapse of hair loss with changing alopecia types, but eventually alopecia has been resolved and maintained throughout the Korean medicine treatment. Conclusions This study shows the effect of the Korean medical treatments for a pediatric patient with alopecia. And more research is needed to study about patients with different types of alopecia.

GML 데이터는 공간 및 비공간 정보를 동시에 갖는 GIS 데이터의 특징과 구조적(structured)인 XML 데이터의 성격을 함께 가지고 있어 일반적인 DBMS에 저장되기 힘들다. XML 저장이 가능한 데이터베이스는 공간데이터 처리 능력이 부족하고, 공간데이터베이스는 XML 데이터를 저장하기 어렵다. 본 연구는 GML 데이터가 공간데이터베이스에 저장될 수 있도록 GML 응용스키마로부터 공간데이터베이스 스키마를 모델링하는 방법을 제안한다. 이를 위하여 객체관계형 데이터베이스의 특징인 복합 애트리뷰트(composite attribute)와 추상데이터타입(ADT)을 이용한 GML 스키마의 맵핑 규칙을 정하였다. 맵핑 규칙은 OGC SQL 스키마에 적합하도록 GML 데이터의 공간 정보와 비공간 정보를 분리하여 저장시킨다. 따라서 저장된 데이터는 공간데이터베이스가 제공하는 공간 연산자/함수 및 인덱스를 통하여 다양한 공간/비공간 질의가 빠르게 수행될 수 있다.

This paper addresses the design of object distribution in distributed object-oriented databases. The proposed strategy of object distribution consists of two-step design of fragments. One step is class fragmentation and the other is allocation of fragments. We define partitioning algorithms to reflect the characteristics of object-oriented databases in the class fragmentation and define expressions to reduce the amount of data transfer by allocating fragments of other classes referred together to one site in the allocation of fragments

Recent days composite bridge deck is gaining attraction due to many advantages such as light weight, high strength, corrosion resistance, and high durability. In this study, composite sandwich deck models of hat, box, and triangular section type were fabricated by VARTM process. For those models, three point flexural test was carried out both in strong and weak axis. The experimental results are compared with each other to determine efficient section type. Also finite element analysis was performed and compared with experiments to verify analysis model. It has been demonstrated that composite sandwich deck can be used as bridge deck in the new construction and rehabilitation work.
