  • 한정된 주파수 문제를 해결하기 위해 제안된 초광대역 통신 시스템은 전 주파수 대역에 걸쳐 스펙트럼이 마치 기저 대역 잡음과 유사한 형태로 존재하여 타 통신 시스템에 간섭을 주지 않고 고속의 통신이 가능하며 반송파를 사용하지 않기 때문에 송 수신기의 소비 전력과 그 구조론 간략화 시킬 수 있다. 그러나 기존의 펄스 위치 방식(Pulse Positioning Modulation : PPM)은 주파수 스펙트럼 상에 불연속 전력 스펙트럼 성분이 존재하여 시스템의 효율을 저하된다. 본 논문에서는 불연속 전력 스펙트럼 성분이 발생하지 않고, 유클리드 거리가 최대가 될 수 있는 Antipodal 신호를 제안한다. 또한, 고주파 시뮬레이터인 Agilent 사의 Advanced Design System을 사용하여 Antipodal 신호를 이용한 변 복조기를 설계하여 구현 및 적용 가능성을 보였다.

Design of a tracking and demodulation circuit for wideband DDMA in IMT-2000 (IMT-2000 광대역 CDMA의 동기추적 및 데이터 복조 회로구현)

  • In this paper, a pseudo-noise(PN) tracking and demodulation circuits are analyzed and designed for a direct-sequence/spread-spectrum multiple access system under a mobile fading channel. We consider noncoherent delay locked loop(DLL) as a PN code tracking loop which has 1/8 PN chip resolution. The tracking performance of DLL is evaluated in terms of locking time from a loose state and tracking jitter. The received signal is demodulated to original data by despreading with PN code locked by DLL. Also the designed circuit supports sound service of 32Kbps and in-band signal with 4.096MHz chip clock. The circuits are implemented and verified with FPGA, which is shown completely data recovery under AWGN 7dB and will be available for IMT-2000.

An Architecture of the Resampler for DVB-T2 Demodulation (DVB-T2 복조기를 위한 재표본화기 구조)

  • DVB-T2 is a next generation DTV transmission standard, which supports various channel bandwidths. Since the symbol rate of the DVB-T2 signal is changed according to its bandwidth, the received signal needs to be sampled at a different frequency. The sampling frequency should be also adjusted depending on the sampling frequency offset due to the frequency error in the local oscillator. The sampling frequency can be locked into the symbol frequency by resampling the sampled data by ADC running at a fixed frequency. In this paper a resampler architecture for DVB-T2 is proposed. And the simulation results reveal the spectral characteristics of each subcarriers used in DVB-T2 system.

  • We proposed and implemented new DDC system which overcomes the difficulties including lack of flexibility of modifications of frequency which is the problem of previous frequence oscillator and synchronization. New DDC system can create frequence in two decimal points. Moreover, due to its usage in adjusting to frequence clock which is required by many consumers, laser distance instrument can reduce its error; thus, implementation of system is capable of high precision distance measurement can be performed.

  • In this paper, we consider the diversity combining method for multiple symbol differential detection (MSDD) over the slow fading diversity channel. Though the performance of the optimum maximum-likelihood sequence estimator for MSDD approaches the performance of maximal-ratio combining with differential encoding, the complexity increases exponentially as the size of MSDD block is increased. This new pre-combining method can make use of the efficient MSDD algorithm that has a complexity increasing linearly with the block length or MSDD. Thus, in many wireless scenarios where it is not possible to perform coherent detection. this pre-combined diversity MSDD can be applied to obtain substantial gain compare to conventional differential detection.

  • 본 논문에서는 전력과 대역특이 제한된 환경에서 효율적인 트렐리스 부호화 변조방식을 적용한 QAM 모뎀을 구현하였다. 입력되는 데이터를 트렐리스 부호화 변조한 후 I, Q로 분리된 신호는 신호 사상기를 통하여 해당하는 성 상점으로 변환된다. 복조기는 I, Q의 신호를 트렐리스 복호기에 입력하여 데이터를 복구한다. 변복조기의 구현은 Xilinx사의 FPGA 디자인툴인 Foundation을 사용하여 VHDL simulation과 Chip Targeting을 수행하였다.

Performance of Cooperative Networks with Mixed Relaying Protocols in Railway Environments (철도환경에서 혼합 중계 프로토콜을 이용한 협력 네트워크의 성능)

  • Cooperative networks enhance the overall communication performance by combining signals from relay nodes and direct signal. In this paper, we analyze the performance of cooperative communication systems which use mixed relaying protocols. By assuming several relay nodes exist between the source node and destination node, we consider the systems use not a single relaying protocol but both decode-and-forward and amplify-and-forward protocols randomly. We analyze the effect of each relying protocol for the overall system performance, and also consider the performance depending on the relay location. Differential modulation scheme which demodulates signal without channel state information is adopted where it can be applicable fast varying channel such as railway environments.

  • Spread spectrum communications have increased interest due to their immunity to channel fading and low probability of intercept. One of the limitations of the traditional digital spread spectrum systems is the need for spreading code synchronization. Chaotic communication is the analogue alternative of digital spread spectrum systems beside some extra features like simple transceiver structures. In this paper, This paper was used instead of the digital modulation and demodulation carriers for use in the chaotic signal in a digital communication system among the chaotic modulation schemes, the Differential Chaos Shift Keying(DCSK) is the most efficient one because its demodulator detects the data without the need to chaotic signal phase recovery. Also Implementation of Differential Chaos Shift Keying Communication System Using Matlab/Simulink and the receiver con decode the binary information sent by the transmitter, performance curves of DCSK are given in terms of bit-error probability versus signal to noise ratio with spreading factor as a parameter and we compare it to BPSK modulation.
