Non-uniform leaky wave structure composed of finite way of slits on the upper wall of a parallel-plate waveguide (평행평판 도파관 윗면에 위치한 유한한 슬릿배열로 구성된 비균일한 누설파 구조)

  • The non-uniform leaky wave structure of the slits in a parallel-plate waveguide is analyzed from the viewpoints of transmitting(receiving) leaky wave antenna and grating coupler. Period and slit width are simultaneously varied along the leaky wave structure to construct the leaky wave structure with a specific distribution of complex propagation constant. Some results for the equivalent magnetic current distributions over the slits and the radiation characteristics of the leaky wave structure with various source(equivalent magnetic current) distributions such as Gaussian, uniform, cosine, cosine-squared, and Taylor distributions are given and compared with each other.

An Analysis of Heat Transfer in the Flue Tube of a Pulse Combustor (맥동연소기 도관에서의 열전달 해석)

  • A numerical solution for heat transfer in the flue tube of a pulse combustion water heater was presented. The $k-{\varepsilon}$ turbulent model was adopted to describe turbulent characteristics and radiative heat transfer was calculated by P-N approximation. Three pulsating conditions equivalent to existing experimental studies were used for analysis. Pulsating pressure was specified at the inlet and outlet of flue tube and numerical procedure using control volume method and pressure boundary condition was presented. It was found that the present mathematical model and numerical method could predict effectively the flow field and heat transfer for the flue tube in pulse combustor.

Design of U-slot Array for OCS Base Station (PCS 기지국용 U-슬롯 어레이 안테나 설계)

  • In this paper, the design of a U-slot array antenna for PCS base station has been implemented and studied. The U-slot antenna is a single layer type with an antenna volume smaller but a bandwidth lager than the designs utilizing parasitic patches, which exceed 17 % bandwidth, for the probe fed case. Designed U-slot array antenna has stable radiation patterns and an average gain above 12 dB across the PCS frequency band. In this paper, through the designing of a U-slot array antenna, we have presented the availability for PCS base station antenna.

  • A theoretical and experimental study was conducted in order to design highly efficient solar air heaters using porous material. Radiative characteristics of glass windows and porous absorbing media were correlated through spectral transmittances measured by the UV-Visible and the FT-IR spectrometers. Using those characteristics the efficiencies of collectors were numerically calculated with the use of the two-flux radiation model. Based on the theoretical results, an experimental solar collector was designed and constructed. Experimental results under various conditions show that the daily efficiencies are over 60% in general and agree well with the theoretically calculated ones.

Performance Analysis of Photonic Crystal Enhanced Micro-Combustor Thermophotovoltaic System for Drone Application (광결정 표면을 이용한 드론용 마이크로 연소기 열광전 에너지변환시스템의 성능해석)

  • In this paper, the electrical power output of the micro-combustor thermophotovoltiac(TPV) system was analyzed. The system consists of a micro-combustor, photonic crystals(PhCs), and photovoltaic cells(PV cells). The system has a micro-combustor that can achieve over 1,000 K surface temperature by consuming 2.5 g/h hydrogen fuel. Also, this system incorporates current state-of-the-art PhCs surfaces(2D Ta PhCs and Tandem Filter) to increase electrical power output. In addition, InGaAsSb PV cell, which bandgap is 0.55 eV, was applied to convert a wide range of radiative energy. The performance analysis shows that a single micro-combustor TPV system can produce 0.4 W ~ 27.7 W electrical power with the temperature change of emitter(900 K ~ 1,500 K) and PV cell(250 K ~ 400 K).

  • 본 논문에서는 산업 안전 서비스를 위한 오류 상호 인지 및 제어 기능이 있는 IP-USN 기반의 멀티미디어 공동 작업 환경에서의 동적 오류 관리기에 대하여 기술한다. 산업 안전 서비스를 위한 동적 오류 관리를 위해서 상호 인지가 필요하다. 상호 인지란 상호 작업 이해, 참여자 관계 설정 등 결합이라는 구현 기술을 말한다. 인지의 구현 방법에는 파일 공유, 윈도우 복사, 윈도우 오버레이, 또는 윈도우 공유 등이 있다. 산업 안전 서비스를 위하여 윈도우 오버레이 기능에 세션 제어, 발언권 제어 등을 추가한 윈도우 공유 방법을 기술한다.

  • 초전도 마그네트 시스템의 냉각방법 중, 액체 헬륨등의 극저온 유체를 이용한 액체냉각방식이 극저온 냉동기를 이용한 직접 전도냉각 방식에 비해 신뢰도가 높은 열적 안정성으로 인하여 현재도 많은 초전도 마그네트 시스템이 액체냉각방식을 이용하고 있다. 그러나, 고가의 극저온 액체의 재충전으로 인하여 경제성이 낮고 취급이 불편한 단점이 있다 이러한 액체냉각방식의 단점을 보완하고자 극저온 유체를 시스템 안에서 직접 응축하여 재충전을 하지 않는 재응축형 시스템을 개발하여 실험하였다. 실험에 사용한 초전도 마그네트 시스템은 상온보아 1270 mm. 최대자장 0.3 T로 설계되었고, 금속 전류도입선과 HTS 전류도입선을 복합적으로 사용하였으며, 복사차폐막 냉각용 극저온 냉동기와 헬륨 재응축용 극저온 냉동기를 사용하였다. 초전도 마그네트는 200 A에서 1600 gauss의 자장으로 운전하였고 극저온 용기에서는 0.05 bar의 압력으로 액체 헬륨이 증발하지 않고 유지되었다.

Thermal Efficiency Analysis of the Conical Solar Concentrator According to the Black Coating of Absorber (흡수기 도색 여부에 따른 원추형 집광기 집열효율 분석)

  • 본 연구에서 원추형 태양열 집광기의 흡수관 표면의 흑색 도색 여부에 따른 효율분석을 수행하였다. 원추형 집광기 시스템은 열 손실 최소화 및 집광비가 우수한 $45^{\circ}$의 원추각을 갖는 원추형 집광기를 설계 및 제작하였다. 원추형 태양열 집광시스템은 열매체 축열을 위한 온도센서가 내장된 축열조와 태양에너지를 집열시키는 원추형 집광기, 유량측정을 위한 유량계, 열매체의 강제순환을 위한 펌프로 구성되어있다. 또한 지속적인 태양추적을 위해 2축 태양 추적 장치를 설치하였다. 흡수관은 원추형 집광기의 중심부에 설비되었으며, 열매체의 순환을 위해 이중 열교환기 구조로 제작되었다. 흡수관의 길이는 열 손실을 최소화하기 위하여 집광기의 높이와 동일하게 설계하였다. 원추형 집광시스템의 작동유체인 물은 펌프에 의해 흡수관과 축열조를 강제순환 하게되고, 용량이 70L인 축열조에 흡수관으로부터 흡수된 태양 복사열이 저장된다. 원추형 집광시스템의 성능실험은 청명한 날 유량 2L/min, 4L/min, 6L/min에 대해 수행되었으며, 집열효율을 계산하여 비교 및 분석하였다. 흑색으로 도색된 흡수기를 부착한 원추형 집광시스템의 집열효율은 82.25%로 나타났으며, 무 도색 흡수관을 갖는 원추형 집광시스템은 73.26%의 집열효율을 나타내었다. 따라서 본 연구를 통해 흡수관 표면의 흑색 도색이 원추형 집광시스템의 집열효율에 큰 영향을 미친다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

  • The cycle of the seminiferous epithelium and development of spermatids of Apodemus speciosus peninsulae were observed using a light microscope. On the basis of developing spermatocyte and spermatid, the cycle of the seminiferous epithelium was divided into 9 stages. Type Ad spermatogonia were appeared in all stages ($I{\sim}IX$). The Ap, In, and B types of spermatogonia were appeared from stage I, II and III, and IV, respectively. In prophase of first meiosis, the leptotene spermatocytes appeared from stage V and VI, zygotene spermatocytes from stages I, II, VII, VIII, and IX, pachytene spermatocytes from stage III to VII, diplotene spermatocytes in the stage VIII, and secondary spermatocytes in stage IX. On the basis of morphology of spermatid head, developing of nuclear and acrosome and the morphological change of cytoplasm, the developing of spermatids was divided into 12 steps. Considering all the results, A. s. peninsulae displayed very similar result with A. agrarius coreae that is allied species when compare correct characters developing of spermatids with spermatogonia and appearance time of the spermatocyte. Appearance time of the same cell and number of spermatogonial generation was thought that characters of the species, and information may be useful in identifying the species.

  • In this paper, we have developed a frequency mixer which can be used as a microwave phase conjugator in the retrodirective array antenna. The retrodirective array, which can reflect the incident wave retrodirertively back to the source direction without any priori information, requires phase conjugators to achieve the phase change of 180 degrees for the incoming signal. frequency mixers can efficiently serve as phase conjugators. The circuit topology is of the 2-port structure to avoid the complexity of LO and Rf signal combination and matching circuits, using a pseudomorphic HEU device. The operating frequencies are 4.0 CHz, 2.01 CHz, and 1.99 CHz for LO, RF, and If signals, respectively. Conversion loss is measured to be -ldB and 1-dB compression point -l5 dBm at the LO power of -10 dBm.
