Who Needs Life Insurance? - Focusing on Recognition of Insurance and Socioeconomic Values - (어떤 사람이 보험을 필요로 하는가? - 보험 인식 및 사회경제적 가치관을 중심으로 -)

  • The study identified 1,500 adult consumers aged 25-54 years with life insurance within the last year as three groups, top, middle and bottom of need recognition, and demonstrated differences in insurance and finance perception and socioeconomic value perception. In particular, the study sought to identify the influence of socioeconomic value recognition factors in addition to overall recognition factors related to insurance and finance, the number of insurance held and insurance satisfaction. Overall recognition factors related to insurance and finance were classified as 'recognition of insurance as a means of professional management and finance', 'self-directed insurance design and contract' and 'recognition of economic burden on insurance'. Socioeconomic value recognition factors were divided into 'socioeconomic self-sufficiency', 'work-life value pursuit' and 'economic value pursuit'. We identified factors that affect the recognition of a higher need for insurance needs as a higher recognition of need for insurance needs. In particular, the most influential factor for the median group was the recognition of insurance as a professional management asset-tech product, and the upper group was found to be a work-life balance factor. The second influential factor was self-directed insurance design and contract factors for both groups. In order to increase the rate of insurance subscription in the future, insurance should be recognized as an essential product to pursue work-life value, and continuous improvement in information exploration conditions for consumers to explore information and compare products will be important to revitalize the insurance market.

Convergence effect of dental insurance knowledge and oral health knowledge of adults on dental health insurance recognition satisfaction (성인의 치과보험지식 및 구강건강지식이 치과건강보험인식만족도에 융합적으로 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of the study was to analyzed the convergence effect of dental insurance knowledge and oral health knowledge on dental insurance recognition satisfaction of adults. Dental health insurance satisfaction recognition, "Need expand the number of treatment subjects of dental treatment" was high, "satisfied cost of dental treatment covered by dental insurance" was low. Dental insurance knowledge was high teeth whitening, orthodontic treatment. Oral health knowledge was high, "the food you eat affects your teeth.". Dental health insurance recognition satisfaction was high when enrolled in private dental insurance. Dental health insurance recognition satisfaction showed a positive correlation with dental health insurance knowledge. Collectively in order to increase the dental health insurance recognition satisfaction, systematic education on dental insurance knowledge and oral health knowledge should be provided.

  • 보험사업은 무형의 서비스를 판매하는 것이므로 별도의 물류시스템이 필요 없으며, 각종 상품 중 특히, 자동차 보험은 보험 고객에게 필요성이 널리 인식되어 있어 가상판매에 가장 적합한 사업이라 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 인터넷을 이용한 보험상품 판매 시 고려해야 할 요인들을 알아보고자 한다. 설문조사를 통해 고객이 인터넷을 이용한 보험계약 시 고려하는 요인, 원하는 서비스, 회사 선택 시 고려사항 등을 파악하였으며 이를 통해 사이버 보험 판매 활성화 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

  • 19) This research investigates the satisfaction level of both countries' export companies about the export insurance system which can cause problems in Korean-Chinese FTA in this age of spreading FTA. Through this research, it surveys of the system user satisfaction of two nations based on the characteristics of export insurance systems in South Korea and China. The satisfaction level of export credit insurance system is as follows: Awareness of credibility (3.53), awareness of exporting area (3.38), awareness of risk management (3.29), awareness of market change (3.14), awareness of insured accident (3.24), and awareness of regulations (3.03) present positive responses to the export insurance system but awareness of defective product (2.97) was relatively unsatisfied. Though it is hard to compare directly due to the differences between the exporting systems of Korean and China, this research shows the need of various export insurance products, and that most export companies in Korea and China are generally satisfying with export insurance products at present.

  • The purpose of this research was to examine the whether to recognition of the long-term care insurance have affected on aged parent-supporting. The research method was used self-report questionnaire to 331 persons who was supported their parents. And I used the Frequency, simple linear regression as an analysis methods. The result demonstrated that Educational background, the emotional intimacy of the subjects, and the recognition degree of the long-term care service have significant influence on their physically parent supporting consciousness. The researchers suggest the need of family support system based on the result for decrease the parent-supporting burden in middle age generation.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of voluntary purchasing motives on insurance consumer satisfaction. The purpose of this study is to investigate the direct and indirect effects of insurance consumption satisfaction including psychological needs of consumers that induce voluntary purchase motivation based on psychological self-determinism theory. The research hypotheses and models were verified through structural equation analysis using online surveys of 1,225 insurance consumers. As a result of the study, the satisfaction of insurance consumption is increased when purchasing by voluntary purchase motive, in which consumers perceive the necessity of purchasing themselves. The positive perception of insurance consumption autonomy and insurance consumption environment increases the motivation to purchase voluntarily, Respectively. Through this study, it is suggested that excessive marketing of insurance companies and self-confidence of insurance consumers may hinder insurance consumption satisfaction and education of consumption attitudes of financial consumers to raise awareness of autonomous rights and responsibilities of insurance consumers.

  • 근래에 한국의 생명보험 시장에는 주요 질병의 보장을 위한 상품들이 연일 쏟아져 나오고 있다. 그러나 이와 함께 증가될 수 있는 리스크에 대한 대비는 상대적으로 부족한 실정이다. 특히 간질환에 의한 급부발생이 타질환에 비하여 현격하게 높은 국내 실정에 맞게 언더라이팅 초점이 맞추어져야 할 필요가 있다. 간질환 유발인자로 대표적인 것은 B형 간염이지만, 과다한 알코올 섭취에 의한 간질환 역시 매해 빠른 속도로 증가하는 추세이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 알코올에 의한 질환의 종류와 이와 관련된 보험금 청구 통계, 그리고 음주로 인한 교통사고의 폐해에 대해 살펴보고, 알코올 남용자를 사전에 판별할 방법을 찾아보고자 한다. 일반적으로 알려져 있는 알코올 관련 질환으로는 지방간, 알코올성 간염, 알코올성 간경변이 있으며, 이로 인한 급부발생율은 급격히 증가하고 있다. 음주로 인한 폐해는 단순히 간질환에 그치지 않고 있으며, 교통사고의 상당수가 음주와 관련이 되어있다. 이러한 리스크에 대해 국내의 상당수 보험사들은 혈액검사를 통하여 간기능에 대한 기준을 설정하여 언더라이팅을 하고 있다. 현재 주로 시행되고 있는 간기능 검사들에 대한 정확도에 대해서는 논란이 있을 수 있다. 따라서 보다 정밀한 검사법들에 대한 연구가 필요할 것이다. 외국의 경우, 보험을 가입하고자 하는 보험 대상자들은 직업이나 흡연, 위험 취미뿐만 아니라 알코올과 관련된 일정한 양식의 질문표에 대하여 성실하게 고지하도록 하고 있다. 국내에도 알코올과 관련된 자세한 고지항목을 첨부하여, 일정 기준에 미치지 못하는 가입자에 대하여 표준미달체로 분류하여 보다 정밀한 검진을 통해 세밀한 언더라이팅이 이루어져야 하겠다. 이와 아울러, 알코올로 인한 사회적 폐해의 심각성에 대한 인식 확대를 위한 각 보험사 및 유관기관의 노력이 전개된다면, 음주에 대한 진사 절차가 수월해질 것으로 기대된다.

The Survey of Awareness and Necessity on Introduce Home Physical Therapy in the Long-term Care Insurance (노인장기요양보험제도 내 가정방문물리치료 도입에 관한 인식도 및 필요성 조사)

  • This study aims to investigate the awareness and needs of patients as consumers and therapists as providers on the introduction of home physical therapy in the long-term care insurance. The survey participants were 96 patients and 132 physical therapists to a questionnaires, we analyzed for frequency of each questionnaire about awareness and necessity. As a result of the test, they considered that physical activity support services provided by nurse and nurses aid ware not specialized enough(pt 60,4%, PT 75,4%) and quality therapy should be available through a home physical therapy(pt 47.9%, PT 59.2%). Also, patients responded that the priorities to improve long-term care insurance were given to lowering expenses(35,4%) and expanding coverage of subjects(32.3%) while the physical therapists responded that professionals should be expanded(73.8%) and diverse rehabilitation services(20.2%) and a rehabilitation team should be introduced. They responded that the reasons of home physical therapy were needed that it was hard for patients to visit medical centers(PT 30.0%) themselves and it would be improvable for them to get physical function in elderly(pt 47.1%) through the service. In conclusion, as most patients as well as physical therapists responded that home visit therapy services should be introduced and their awareness of it was very high, it is suggested that the service should be quickly introduced as soon as possible.

Awareness and Purchase of the Private Dental Insurance among Dental Patients in the Capital Region (수도권 지역 치과의료기관 이용자의 민영치과의료보험에 대한 인식과 가입 현황)

  • This study investigated the awareness and purchase status of the private dental insurance. Self-reported survey was conducted with patients over the age of twenties who visited dental institutions located in Seoul Metropolitan City and Gyeonggi Province. The demographic and health related characteristics of respondents were analyzed, and logistic regression was conducted to examine factors affecting the awareness and purchase of private dental insurance. Because only four years had been passed since the introduction of private dental insurance, the awareness and purchase rate was found to be low. However, the number of people considering subscription due to the economic burden of dental care service was relatively high. Factors affecting awareness were satisfaction of the national health insurance, purchase of private health insurance and private dental insurance, self-perceived dental health status, and smoking. The variables affecting purchase of dental insurance were age, awareness, purchase of private health insurance, smoking, number of visits to dental institution. Because qualitative and quantitative change would be made in the dental care utilization due to the rapidly growing dental insurance subscribers, further studies regarding the trend of purchase rate of private dental insurance and the effect of dental insurance on use of dental institution are needed.
