Efficiency Analysis for Differential Power Processing Converter Configurations in Photovoltaic Electric Vehicles (태양광 발전차량의 차동전력 조절기 배열에 따른 효율분석)

  • 최근 전기자동차(EV)의 수요가 높아짐에 따라, 그와 관련된 연구가 많이 진행되고 있다. 특히 기존 EV dc-bus에 쉽게 결합할 수 있는 photovoltaic-전기자동차(PV-EV)의 개발이 진행되었지만, 낮은 시스템 효율로 인해 상용화에 어려움을 겪었다. PV-EV의 특성상 태양광 시스템이 불균일한 태양빛의 변화에 노출되기 때문에, 차동전력 조절기(differential power processing (DPP) 컨버터)가 없는 기존의 시스템에서는 시스템 효율이 매우 저하된다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해, 본 연구에서 차동전력 조절기가 적용된 PV-EV 시스템을 제안하였다. 본 논문에서는 차동전력 조절기 시스템의 새로운 배열인 DPP to Load 배열을 제안하며 기존의 차동전력 조절기 시스템 배열과 비교분석 하였다. 또한 각각의 차동전력 조절기 배열에서 태양빛의 세기, 보조 부하의 크기, 컨버터의 효율을 변화시키며 각 배열의 시스템 효율을 비교하였다. 주어진 대부분의 조건에서 가장 높은 시스템 효율을 보여준 배열은 Isolated bus 배열 이었다. 맑은 날, 모든 컨버터의 효율은 85%, 보조부하가 250 W라고 가정하였을 때, Isolated bus 배열은 가장 높은 시스템 효율인 74%의 효율을 나타내었다.

Development of a Vision-based Lane Change Assistance System for Safe Driving (안전주행을 위한 비전 기반의 차선변경보조시스템 개발)

  • This paper describes a lane change assistance system for the help of safe lane change, which detects vehicles approaching from the rear side by using a computer vision algorithm and notifies the possibility of safe lane change to a driver. In case a driver tries to lane change, the proposed system can detect vehicles and keep track of them. After detecting side lane lines, region of interest for vehicle detection is decided. For detection a vehicle, optical flow technique is applied. The experimental result of the proposed algorithm and system showed that the vehicle detection rate was 91% and the embedded system would have application to a lane change assistance system being commercialized in the near future.

  • 본 논문에서는 YOLO 시스템을 사용하여 보조 보행 기구를 인식 한 후 자동문 속도 조절에 대한 방법을 제안한다. Visual studio, OpenCV, CUDA를 활용하여 보조 보행 기구를 인식이 가능하게 신경망 훈련 및 학습 한 데이터를 기반으로 Raspberry Pi, 카메라 모듈을 활용하여 실시간 모니터링을 통해 보조 보행 기구를 인식하여 자동문의 속도를 조절을 구현했다. 이로써 거동이 불편한 장애인은 원활하게 건물 출입이 가능하다.

  • 본 연구는 어휘 정보를 이용하여 구어체 문장구성을 하였다. 구어체 문장구성의 목적은 언어생활이 불편한 사람들을 위한 통신보조기기에 사용하기 위해서이다. 통신보조기기는 사용자가 원하는 문장을 만들어 음성으로 출력해주는 시스템이다. 그러므로 문장을 구성하기 위해서 어휘 정보를 통신보조기기의 개념에 맞도록 변형하여 도입하였다. 어휘는 도메인별로 발췌하고 분류하였으며, 각 어휘에 대해 시소러스와 하위범주화사전을 만들었다. 어휘정보에 관한 상세한 정보는 문장구성과 재사용 그리고 문맥상 어색한 문장검출을 위해 중요한 자료가 된다.

  • 저전력에 사용되는 Flyback 컨버터에서는 일반적으로 트랜스포머의 보조권선을 통하여 구동 IC에 필요로 하는 전력을 공급한다. 하지만, USB PD와 같이 5~20V의 넓은 출력전압을 가지는 경우 IC Vcc 정격 전압을 위하여 Linear regulator 사용이 필수적이나, 이는 소자발열 및 시스템 효율을 저하시킨다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 출력전압 변동에 따라 변압기의 보조권선을 변환 시키는 회로를 제안하고자 한다.

  • Today only 5-15% (approximately 1 in 10 persons) of persons with disabilities in need globally have access to assistive products which assist or replace the impaired functioning[1]. GATE (Global Cooperation on Assistive Technology) is a WHO global initiative for cooperation of stakeholders to cope with current and future challenges in product design, pricing, delivery and services, as well as medical and social system, expert training, and policies. This paper introduces the concept of WHO GATE to improve access to assistive technology for everyone by the cooperation with global key stakeholders.

  • The physical disabled are using various types of assistive devices and reading assistance device is have been researched and development. After all reading assistance device which being marketed present for the physical disabled's features is simply limited to turing the page. In this paper, Implemented prototype model of the reading assistance device for the physical disabled that is have designed to modify to improve the success rate of turing page and conjunction with mobile devices such as PDA to provide more convenient and useful features. And not only for the disabled then take a look at Universal design concept of view of the tool can be useful the public also.

  • Brake system in railway train operates to reduce the speed of the train or to stop the train via changing the kinematic energy into heat energy for emission and so brake system makes an important rule to transport passenger and cargo for safety operation. Recently operators have a matter of grave concern for the verification of performance in brake system. To verify the exact performance of brake system, most of brake test has been carried out on real operating track condition. Therefore we will determine the braked weight of indirect brake system applied in Iran DMU(Diesel Multiple Unit) in accordance with mc leaflet 544-1, which is to enable Iran DMU to achieve the required braking distances in defined situation.

  • In this paper, we propose a walking aid system that guides route to visually impaired people in order to recognize uncertain obstacles based on tactile stimulation. The proposed system is composed of the touch-based obstacle detection module, the obstacle height detection module, and the route guidance algorithms. The touch-based obstacle detection module detects each obstacle, which is located at left, right, and front of a visually impaired person by stimulating his thumb with the rotational force of the servomotor. The obstacle height detection module integrates detected data by the linear arrangement of ultrasonic sensors to identify the height of an obstacle about 3 of-phase(i.e., high, medium, low). The proposed route guidance algorithm guides an optimized path to the visually impaired person by updating his current position information based on the signal of the built-in GPS receiver in smartphone. In addition, the route guidance algorithm delivers information with speech to a visually impaired person through Bluetooth commuination in the developed route guidance app. The proposed system can create a path to avoid the obstacles by recognizing the placed situation of the obstacles with exploring the uncertain path.

  • Normal people are not deeply aware of their dependence on sight when eating. However, since the visually impaired do not know what kind of food is on the table, the assistant next to them holds the blind spoon and explains the position of the food in a clockwise direction, front and rear, left and right, etc. In this paper, we describe the development of a meal assistance system that recognizes each food image and announces the name of the food by voice when a visually impaired person looks at their table using a smartphone camera. This system extracts the food on which the spoon is placed through the YOLO model that has learned the image of food and tableware (spoon), recognizes what the food is, and notifies it by voice. Through this system, it is expected that the visually impaired will be able to eat without the help of a meal assistant, thereby increasing their self-reliance and satisfaction.
