  • This paper designed an Internet Convention e-Portal Information System through an experience and knowledges accumulated in case of information utilization regarding international meeting and conventions in knowledge information societies. Established the Non-stop Cluster system that was the H/W side, L4 and the applied system which was the 3-tier structure and Firewall, VPN, IDS/IPS security control system, S/W side, that utilized the WAS MVC architecture used WAS and a SOA architecture. an ASP EAI function. A user and a manager, designs and constructor, the user efficiency who were an evaluation basis of a Verification commissioner, Ubiquitous evaluated system stability. Information security anger, and evaluated former system and comparison. Therefore is evaluated to the excellent Convention e-Portal Systems that a performance 25.9% improvement consisted of compare with the existing Convention e-Portal Systems, and will contribute so as to be able to carry out-driven enemy role in development of the industrial our country Convention Ubiquitous Internet IT information Industry and International Society Conventions.

  • 테라헤르츠파는 0.1~10THz 대역의 미개발 주파수 자원으로 전자기파 스펙트럼에서 적외선과 밀리미터파의 중간 영역에 위치한다. 전파의 투과성과 광파의 직진성을 동시에 가지고 있어 독특한 물리적 특성을 보유한 테라헤르츠파는 THz 소자, 분광, 영상 기술 등의 기초 과학과 의공학, 보안, 환경/우주, 정보통신 등의 응용 과학 분야에서 이미 그 중요성이 검증되어 향후 폭넓은 산업 응용으로 다양한 분야에서 새로운 형태의 시장이 형성될 것으로 기대된다. 이러한 테라헤르츠파 기술의 사회, 경제적 파급력을 극대화하기 위해서는 테라헤르츠 대역 소자의 특성을 향상시키고, 크기와 가격을 낮추는 것이 매우 중요하다. 본고에서는 크기와 가격을 낮출 수 있는 포토닉스 기반의 테라헤르츠 가변형 연속파 신호원 및 검출기 기술과 이를 기반으로 구현 가능한 응용 기술 동향에 대하여 기술하였다.

  • The DES encryption algorithm employed in information security has a strong avalanche effect, and the processing speed to encrypt is also fast. However, due to the H/W advances, the secret key length of DES having 56bits is not enough so that it is easily exposed to brute force attack. In this paper, we present a new method to significantly increase the secret key length in the DES by integration of digital holography and DES algorithm. In addition, we evaluate the encryption performance of the proposed method by measuring the avalanche effect and verify the possibility of it.

  • 현재까지 변전소에 구축되어있는 변전소 자동화 시스템은 기존 설비를 바탕으로 지능형 장비(IED)를 추가한, 전력설비 자체의 인텔리전트화가 아닌 2차 설비(제어, 보호, 감시 장치)의 인텔리전트화를 지향하고 있었다. 그러나 본 실증변전소는 CT, PT와 같은 1차 설비에서부터 상위 시스템까지 전체 전력실비를 Intelligent화하였으며, Hardwiring되어 있는 시스템을 모두 통신과 S/W로 처리하였으며, 국내 최초로 Merging Unit을 개발, 적용하여 디지털 계전기를 검증하였다. 또한 향상된 예방진단 시스템 및 보안방재 시스템을 도입하여 변전소종합자동화 시스템을 구축하였다.

  • Platform convergence originated from the convergence of broadcast and telecommunication is making rapid progress including IT and not-IT fields in order to provide a variety of converged services, S/W eco-system construction, and so on. With the advent of convergence environment, IEEE 802.15.4-based RF4CE technology is rising because of creating momentum for the market using converged connectivity between home and office devices as well as all around located devices. In this paper, we present enhanced RF4CE key seed distribution approach in order to provide efficient connection and control between devices. The proposed approach consists of device mutual authentication, initial vector assignment, and two-phase key seed distribution. Moreover, we make a development real RF4CE test board and its key agreement simulator to verify the proposed approach.

  • In this paper, we proposed a Proactive Application Service Engine (PASE) supporting tailor-made distributed application services based on the Distributed Object Group Framework (DOGF) efficiently managing distributed objects, in the viewpoint of distributed application, composed application on network. The PASE consists of 3 layers which are the physical layer, the middleware layer, and the application layer. With the supporting services of the PASE, the grouping service manages the data gathered from H/W devices and the object's properties for application by user's request as a group. And the security service manages the access of gathered data and the object according to user's right. The data filtering service executes the filtering function to provide application with gathered data. The statistics service analysis past data. The diagnostic service diagnoses a present condition by using the gathered data. And the prediction service predicts a future's status based on the statistics service and the diagnostic service. For verifying the executability of the PASE's services, we applied to a greenhouse automatic control application in ubiquitous agriculture field.

  • The current railway control system in Korea is comprised of signaling, electric rail power, communication, and maintenance systems that are independent of each other. Further, these systems have different mediums and protocols for transmitting the field equipment data to the central control system. The Safety Supervision System has as its purpose the collecting of safety-related data from each system to predict and prevent accidents, this system utilizes standard protocol. Safety-related data need to be collected from field data transmission devices of the existing control system, the data should be collected without affecting the communication of the existing system. In this study, sniffing skill, which is typically used for network traffic monitoring or security, is used to collect data. The problems arising from the use of sniffing devices are noted, and the Packet Conversion Node is proposed as a solution to the problems. Further, functional and performance testing were completed for the prototype, and the software architecture and packet conversion process were verified.

Design of a Secure and Fast Handoff Method for Mobile If with AAA Infrastructure (AAA 기반 Mobile IP 환경에서 안전하고 빠른 핸드오프 기법 설계)

  • Mobile IP Low Latency Handoffs allow greater support for real-time services on a Mobile W network by minimizing the period of time when a mobile node is unable to send or receive IP packets due to the delay in the Mobile IP Registration process. However, on Mobile IP network with AAA servers that are capable of performing Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting(AAA) services, every Registration has to be traversed to the home network to achieve new session keys, that are distributed by home AAA server, for a new Mobile IP session. This communication delay is the time taken to re-authenticate the mobile node and to traverse between foreign and home network even if the mobile node has been previously authorized to old foreign agent. In order to reduce these extra time overheads, we present a method that performs Low Latency Handoffs without requiring funker involvement by home AAA server. The method re-uses the previously assigned session keys. To provide confidentiality and integrity of session keys in the phase of key exchange between agents, it uses a key sharing method by gateway foreign agent that Performs a ousted thirty party. The Proposed method allows the mobile node to perform Low Latency Handoffs with fast as well as secure operation
