A Study on Channel Mis-match Compensation Technique for Robust Speaker Verification System (강인한 화자확인 시스템을 위한 채널 불일치 보상 기법에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, we proposed the compensation technique that overcomes the limitations of the conventional approaches through summing up the bias terms between world's codebook and individual codebook vectors of feature parameters. But, mean compensation without condition can bring higher false acceptance. Therefore, the proposed technique compensates the channel mis-match condition by weighted bias sum using nonlinear function regarding to the distortion between speech and silence. The simulation results show that the FRR (flase reject rate) is decreased 14.95% when the proposed algorithm was applied.

Incentive Structures in the Compensation for Public Expropriation (공공수용 보상에 관한 유인체계 분석)

  • We study incentive structures of public developers and land owners in the process of public expropriations using a sequential game model. In the model, we show that there is an incentive for the public developer to give more compensation than just compensation that are defined by law. Also the model shows that there is an incentive for the land owners to revolt strategically against the public expropriation. Then an ideal authority delegation model is introduced to resolve the problems, where an independent appraiser determines the compensation for the expropriation. In the real world, improving the independence of appraisal process is critical to make the system closer to the ideal authority delegation model. So this paper concludes by making a few policy suggestions to improve the current appraisal system.

  • 삼중탐침법은 세 개의 탐침으로 플라즈마의 전자온도와 밀도를 구할 수 있는 정전탐침법이다. 삼중 탐침은 빠른 시간에 플라즈마 변수를 구할 수 있다는 장점을 가지고 있다. 따라서 펄스파워로 구동하는 플라즈마나 시간에 대해 변화가 심한 플라즈마에서 주로 사용된다. 하지만 RF전원으로 구동되는 플라즈마의 경우에는 RF교란과 잡음에 의해서 측정값에 왜곡이 일어난다. 또한 바이어스 전압에 따라 측정값에 차이가 나타나게 된다. 유도 결합 플라즈마에서 RF교란을 줄였을 경우에 대한 효과를 알아보기 위해 RF보상 삼중탐침을 통하여 RF 잡음 및 교란을 줄이고, 적당한 바이어스 전위를 구했다. RF보상 삼중탐침의 부유전압을 재어 Self-bias가 줄어듦을 알 수 있었고, 전자온도와 밀도의 측정값이 단일탐침 측정값과 비슷하게 나옴을 알 수 있었다.

  • This paper proposes a frequency transfer function synthesis of a later compensated PID controller for an approximated low order model. The proposed method identifies the parameter vector of PID controller from a linear system that is formed by rearranging a loop frequency transfer function synthesis including the filter compensated PID controller obtained from the given frequency response bounds. And an example for the turbine speed control system of Chungju hydropower plant is given to illustrate the feasibilities of suggested schemes.
