Classification of Horse Gaits Based on Stacked Auto-Encoder (Stacked 오토엔코더 기반 승마보법의 분류)

  • 본 논문에서는 실 승마 코칭을 수행하기 위해 Stacked 오토엔코더를 이용한 승마 보법을 분류하고자 한다. Staked Auto-encoder(SAE)에서 은닉층 수를 조절하여 승마데이터에 적합하게 쌓고, 성능을 비교하고 은닉층의 수를 수정한다. 데이터베이스 구축 환경은 16개의 관성센서로 이루어진 무선 네트워크로 구성된 슈트를 착용하고 국가대표급 승마 전문가로부터 데이터베이스를 취득한다. DB를 이용하여 보법별(평보, 속보, 경속보, 구보)로 각각 특징들(볼기 y축 포지션, 허리각도)을 이용하여 보법분류를 한다. 구축된 승마 모션데이터로 실험한 결과, 은닉층의 수가 1층일 때 성능은 95%를 보여주었고 은닉층의 수가 2층일 때 94%의 성능을 나타내었다.

  • 직물은 유연하여 외력에 의해 쉽게 굽힘, 비틀림 등의 변형이 일어난다. 이러한 특성 중 직물의 굽힘은 태, 봉제성, 드레이프성 등의 중요 인자로서 지금까지 여러 연구들이 직물의 구조에 관련하여 굽힘강성을 분석하려는 시도가 계속되어 왔다. 이러한 연구의 최초의 시도로서 1930년대 Peirce가 직물을 선형탄성체로 가정한 후 외팔보법을 적용시켜 굽힘길이로 굽힘강성을 나타내었으며[l] 현재까지도 이 시험법이 시행되어 오고 있다. (중략)

  • 內經在確立治則後具體提示了治療理法, 其大體可分爲四種理法. 首先, 應根據邪氣侵入之深淺, 傳變之順序, 病位之表裏, 詳查其陰陽表裏內外而分别施行各自不同領域的治療;對於有無表病或裏病的診斷問題上, 一般當先查表病之有無. 其次, 強調了隨陰陽盛衰而顯現變化的寒熱溫涼症候的調節, 而寒熱的具體情況又有虛實之分, 故當詳查具體病症的陰陽虛 實情況. 同时, 还提示了在扶正祛邪治則下施行補瀉之法的具體方法, 其中補法用於正氣(氣血)虛的情況, 瀉法則用於邪氣實的情況. 具體的讲, 補法包括補氣, 益血, 滋陰, 壯陽等法, 瀉法包括通氣, 散火, 逐水, 開鬱等法. 另外, 尚有正治法與反治法, 正治法用於病性與藥性相逆的病症, 屬於比較單純的情況, 而反治法則用於藥性與病之假象相 從的病症, 屬於病情比較複雜和嚴重的情況, 但二者皆以把握病情的本質, 除去根本病因爲目的, 故皆屬'治病求本'之治療原則 下的治療理法. 綜合"內經"所提示的治療理法, 可看出在諸多辨證方法當中首重陰陽, 表裏, 寒熱, 虛實之八綱辨證. 對此, 李梴在"醫學入門 雜治賦"中談道: "百病難逃乎八要, 經曰病有八要, 不知其要, 病將安去. 表裏寒熱虛實邪正而己." 而程國彭在"醫學心悟 寒熱虛實表裏陰陽辨"中亦說道: "病有總要, 寒熱虛實表裏陰陽八字而已. 病情旣不外此, 則辨症之法, 亦不出外. "可見二人都在強調和說明"內經"的治療理法.

  • Objectives : The directional supplementation and draining and twirling supplementation and draining have been used widely in oriental medical clinic. The aim of this study is to compare the effects between directional supplementation and draining method and twirling supplementation and draining. Methods : Clinical experiment was performed with 21 students of oriental medical college of Daegu Haany university. Acupuncture was applied at left Hapgok (LI4) with directional supplementation and twirling supplementation respectively, and the thermographic change was checked using DITI (Digital Infrared Thermographic Image). Results and Conclusion : A significant thermographic change was observed at bilateral Igan (LI2), Yanggye (LI5), Gokji (LI11), and Yeonghyang (LI20) in directional supplementation. A significant thermographic change was observed at bilateral Igan (LI2), Yanggye (LI5), and Yeonghyang (LI20) in twirling supplementation. Based on the thermographic change, it could be demonstrated that directional supplementation is more effective that twirling supplementation.

Biomechanical Research on Forward Gait with Backward Mechanism (후진 보법을 이용한 전방향 보행의 생체역학적 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate possibility of a forward gait with backward mechanism(dance gait) as rehabilitation and/or walking exercise by means of biomechanical variables. Thirteen professional women dancers(age, $21.1{\pm}1.3yrs$; height, $159.3{\pm}7.2cm$; body mass, $45.1{\pm}8.4kg$)participated in this study. We found that speed, stride length and double limb support time of a dance gait were more greater than backward gait, but stride width of dance gait less than a backward gait. Maximum RoMs, moments and powers of the lower limb joints on a dance gait were more frequent than a backward dance. These results were judged to be sufficient by the possibility of dance gait as rehabilitation and walking exercise.

  • Man-Byeong-Hoi-Chun(萬病回春) is the principal book of Gong Tingxian who was a physician in the time of Ming(明) dynasty. It has been widely used in Korea and Japan. We recently analyzed the case reports in the book and found that he made some prescriptions by day and night separately. The method was based on the Jo-Seok-Bo-Beop(朝夕補法) by 薛己. We thought that it was an important key to his ideas in medicine. So we reviewed the origin and the basic principles of Jo-Seok-Bo-Beop and considered the clinical usages.

A Locomotive Analysis on Forelimbs' Movement According to Change in Velocity of Horses' Quadruped Cadence (말의 4족 보법에서 속도변화에 따른 전족 움직임의 운동능력 분석)

  • Objective : The purposes of this study was to analyze the locomotive movement of forelimbs according to changes in velocities in the quadruped cadence of horses. Methods : Horses selected as subjects consisted of Jeju pony horses (heights of withers: $1.23{\pm}0.51$). Two camcorders (HDR-HC7/HDV 1080i, Sony Corp, Japan) were used to capture the movement of the horses' forelimbs at a rate of 60 frames/sec. Additionally, raw data was collected from Kwon3D XP motion analysis package ver 4.0 program (Visol, Korea) with DARTFISH (DFKREA., Korea) video software solution. The variables analyzed consisted of 1 step lengths, 1 stride lengths, stance time, swing time, 1 stride time, velocity while walking, and trot of the horses. A two-way ANOVA and paired t-test of the variables by velocity and phase were treated at .05 level of significant difference, statistically. Results : The time elapsed of walk(stance: 0.63 sec[63.86%], swing: 0.35 sec[36.14%], 1 stride time: 0.99 sec respectively) showed significant difference with more delay than that of trot(stance: 0.29 sec[45.73%], swing: 0.34 sec[54.27% ], 1 stride time: 0.63 sec respectively), and also showed significant difference at trot in interaction (stance time>tort swing>walk swing>walk stance). The 1 step lengths and stride lengths in trot showed significant difference with longer than that of walk. Velocity of Trot showed significant difference statistically with higher than that of walk Conclusion : The horses' velocity during 1 step lengths and 1 stride lengths showed a proportional relationship, but the correlation between the horses' velocity and stance time showed a negative relationship during the quadruped cadence.

Simplified Formulae for Free Earth Supported Anchored Sheet-Pile Wall (앵커식 자유지지 널말뚝벽의 설계용 간편식)

  • Sheet piles are often used to build continuous walls for the waterfront structures, and also used for some temporary structures, such as the braced cuts. Sheet pile walls may be divided into two basic categories that is cantilever and anchored. Stock(1992) developed an expedient format for determining the depth, maximum bending moment and anchor force of sheet pile wall for cantilever and free earth supported anchored wall. But, that is useful only in case that water table exists above the dredge line. In this study, a simplified formulae was developed for the design of the anchored free earth supported sheet pile wall both in sand and clay by solving the derived equations and regression analysis. It can be used whether the ground water table is above or under the dredge line.

  • Elastic-plastic methods have been used for the better prediction of the actual behavior of continuous-composite plate girder bridges in the overload and maximum load analysis. The structural evaluation using ALFD(Alternate Load Factor Design) uses the elastic-plastic analysis. The plastic rotations that remain after the load is removed can be occurred by the yielding locations of the maximum moment section. This situation can occur due to the residual stresses even if the moment is below the theoretical yield moment. The local yielding causes positive automoments that assure elastic behavior under subsequent overloads. In this study, the automoments at the piers occurred due to the unit plastic rotations and other locations were calculated by the conjugate-beam method and three-moment equation, using the nine design span with progressively smaller pier sections. The automoments were determined by the developed computer programs in this study in which the moments and plastic rotations from the continuity and moment-inelastic rotation relationships must be equal. And also the ratings of 3-span continuous composite plate girder bridges with non-compact section were carried out according to the Korean Highway Bridge Specification.

  • The major design parameters of the anchored sheet-pile wall include the determination of required penetration depth, the force acting on the anchor, and the maximum bending moment in the piling. Blum solved the fixed earth supported wall using the equivalent beam method, assuming that the wall can be separated into upper and lower parts of the point of contraflexure. Design charts help designer by simplifying the design procedure. But they have some difficulties under some Geotechnical and geometrical conditions. For example, the conventional design charts can compute design parameters only when the ground water table exists above the dredge line. In this paper, the design charts which can be used for the ground water table existing under the dredge line are presented. And simplified formulae are developed by regression analysis. It is found that simplified formulae are not only very useful for the practice of design but also they can evaluate the result of numerical methods or design charts.
