A Design and Implementation of Daily Management Application Based on Smart Phone Sensor (스마트폰 센서 기반의 일상관리 어플리케이션 설계 및 구현)

  • 본 논문에서는 위치와 스마트폰 센서를 활용하여 불규칙한 생활패턴을 가진 사람들을 위한 일상 관리 어플리케이션을 설계하고 구현한다. 이 어플리케이션의 기능은 하루단위의 원형시간표 자동 제작하는 기능, 수면시간 측정 기능, 만보기 기능, 미세먼지 측정 기능 및 일, 주, 월단위의 누적 데이터 표시 기능으로 크게 5가지로 구분할 수 있다. 하루 단위의 원형시간표 자동제작 기능은 사용자의 위치를 파악하여 시간대별 위치정보를 이용해 24시간의 원형시간표를 채워나가는 기능이다. 특정 위치를 직장이나 집과 같이 등록함으로서 업무와 이동 등을 구분하여 등록할 수 있도록 한다. 수면시간 측정 기능은 앞서 말한 집의 위치에서 가속센서를 통해 일정시간 움직임이 없는 경우, 수면시간으로 간주하고 수면 시작시간과 기상시간을 유추하는 기능이다. 만보기 기능은 스마트폰의 기본 가속센서를 이용하여 측정하는 기능으로 목표치를 지정할 수 있도록 한다. 미세먼지의 표시 기능은 공공API를 이용하여 가져옴으로써 사용자에게 정확한 미세먼지 수치와 단계를 나누어 위험정도를 보여주는 기능이다. 각 데이터들은 데이터베이스에 누적 기록되며 일, 주, 월 단위로 사용자가 볼 수 있도록 기능을 구성한다. 이 누적데이터를 통해 사용자들에게 불안정한 하루 생활패턴이나 운동량 등을 인지하도록 함으로써 자신의 일상을 되짚어보고 앞으로의 일상을 개선할 수 있도록 도와준다.

Macrozoobenthic community in the deep sea soft-bottom of the KODOS 96-1 area, northeastern Pacific Ocean (북동태평양 KODOS 96-1 해역의 심해퇴적물에 분포하는 대형저서동물군집)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the faunal composition and distribution patterns of macrobenthic community in the deep sea sediments of the KODOS area, the northeastern Pacific Ocean during May 1996. Benthic animals were collected at 25 stations using a spade type box corer. Sediments were sieved through -.3 mm mesh screen. A total of 17 faunal groups in 9 phyla and 363 specimens were identified. Nematoda was the most abundant faunal group which accounted for 30.0% of total abundance. Other dominant faunal groups were foraminiferans (25.1%), harpacticoids (10.2%), xenophyophores (5.2%), and polychaetes (4.7%), Polychaeta was a typically dominant component of macrobenthic community in the study area except traditionally recognized meiofauna taxa. Mean occurrence number of faunal taxa was ca. 6 per 0.01 m$\^$2/, and mean density was estimated as 1,288 indiv./m$\^$2/. The abundance of whole fauna and that of each faunal group was highest at the surface layer of sediment, and decreased monotonously along the sediment depth; 98% of faunal abundance was found within 10 cm depth layer.

Geochemistry of the Daebo Granitic Batholith in the Central Ogcheon Belt, Korea : A Preliminary Report (중부 옥천대에 분포하는 대보 화강암질 저반의 화학조성 : 예비보고서)

  • The tectonic environment and source characteristics of the Daebo granitic batholith in the central Ogcheon Belt were investigated based upon major and trace element geochemistry. The batholith is comprised of three granite types; a biotite granite (DBBG), K-feldspar megacryst-bearing biotite granite (DBKG), and a more mafic granodiorite (DBGD). The variations of Na and K in the granites can not be explained by simple fractional crystallization from the same primary magma. The irregular behavior of these alkali elements indicates a variety of source materials or incomplete mixing of different source materials. The large ion lithophile (LIL) element enrichment and low Ta/Hf ratios of the granites are typical characteristics of normal, calc-alkaline continental arc granitoids. Based upon REE patterns of the granites, it seems to be unreasonable to regard the felsic DBBG as a late stage differentiate formed by residual melts after the fractionation of major constituent minerals of the more mafic DBGD. Inconsistent variations in ${\varepsilon}_{Nd}(t)$ and LIL element concentrations of the granites preclude a mixing model between primitive melt and LIL element-enriched upper crustal materials. The irregular geochemical variation of the granites is taken to be largely inherited from an already heterogeneous source region.

Validation of Food Intake Frequency from Food Frequency Questionnaire for Use as a Covariate in a Model to Estimate Usual Food Intake (식품의 일상섭취량 추정을 위한 식품섭취빈도의 활용가능성 및 타당도 연구)

  • Although 24-hour recalls (24HR) capture detailed information on a person's food intake, this method suffers from difficulties in adequately measuring the usual intake of foods that are not consumed daily by most. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to investigate whether frequency of Food Frequency Questionnaire (FFQ) can be utilized in form of covariate when calculating usual intake of episodically-consumed foods and their distributions. Data used in this study was from the Korean National Healthy and Nutrition Examination Survey (KNHANES) 2012~2014 (3 years) and 10,945 subjects participated in this survey who performed both of 24HR and FFQ. In order to analyze the data, amount of intake in each food, which was reported in 24HR was recalculated according to 112 items in FFQ. We first assessed the relationship between FFQ frequency and the amount reported on 24HR. Second, we assessed the relationship between usual portion size of FFQ and the amount reported on 24HR. Our hypothesis was that people who reported high FFQ-reported frequency or FFQ-reported usual portion size would consume larger amounts of that food on 24HR than those with lower frequency or portion size of consumption of a food on the FFQ. For 59 of 112 individual foods (52.2%), there were statistically significant increasing relationships between FFQ frequency and consumption-day intake. Also, 102 of 112 individual foods (90.3%), there were statistically significant increasing relationships between FFQ usual portion size and consumption-day intake. For 10 of 13 food groups (grains, fruits, eggs, pulses, root and tuber crops, milk products, meat, beverage, alcoholic drink, vegetable, seaweeds and others), there were statistically significant increasing relationships between FFQ frequency and consumption-day intake. And there were statistically significant increasing relationships between FFQ usual portion size and consumption-day intake for all food groups. This study confirmed consistent correlation between reported FFQ frequency or usual portion size of food (group) consumption and consumption-day intake on 24HR. Therefore the frequency data may be utilized as important covariate when estimating usual intake of food or food groups.

Inhibitory Effect of Grapefruit Seed Extract Mixture on the Physiological Function of Botrytis cinerea (식물성 항균소재 처리가 Botrytis cinerea의 생리기능에 미치는 저해효과)

  • Botanical antimicrobial agent-grapefruit seed extract mixture (BAAG) have an unknown compounds which exhibit the antibiotic activities aganist microorganisms including bacteria and fungi. We have examined the effects of BAAG on the physiological function of Botrytis cinerea which was isolated from necrotic lesions of decayed fruits and vegetables such as cucumbers, grapes, tomatoes, and red peppers during storage. In the results of enzymatic activities related to the energetic metabolism there was no inhibitory effect of BAAG on the activities of several enzymes in vitro including glucose 6-phosphate dehydrogenase and malate dehydrogenase, while there was inhibitory effect of BAAG on the activities of hexokinase and succinate dehydrogenase. O-nitrophenyl-$\beta$-D-galactopyranoside(ONPG), the artificial substrate of $\beta$-galactosidase was hydrolyzed in the presence of BAAG, indicating that the membrane was pertubated by the BAAG. From the results we suggested that the antibiotic activity of BAAG is due to the change of membrane permeability of the cell. BAAG was fractionated and purified by silica gel and sephadex column chromatography. Among active fractions two peaks were identified as naringin and limonin when they were analyzed by by NMR and Fast atomic bombardment.

A Comparison on the Identification of Landslide Hazard using Geomorphological Characteristics (지형특성을 활용한 산사태 위험도 판단을 위한 비교)

  • Landslide disasters including debris flows are the one of the most frequent natural disasters in Korea, and losses of lives and property damages due to these catastrophic events have been increased every year. Various mitigation programs and related policies have been conducted in order to respond and prepare landslide disasters. Most landslide reduction programs are, however, focused on recovery actions after the disasters and lead to unrealistic consequences to the affected people and their properties. The main objective of this study, therefore, is to evaluate the landslide hazard based on the identification of geomorphological features, which is for the preparedness of the landslide disasters. Two methodologies, SINMAP and vector dispersion analyses are used to simulate those characteristics where landslides are actually located. Results showed that both methods well discriminate geomorphic features between stable and unstable domains. This proves that geomorphological characteristics well describe a relationship with the existing landslide hazard. SINMAP analysis which is based on the consecutive model considering external factors like infiltration is well identify the landslide hazard especially for debris flow type landslides rather than vector dispersion focusing on a specific area. Combining with other methods focusing specific characteristics of geomorphological feature, accurate landslide hazard assessments are implemented.

Macrobenthic Faunal Assemblages on the Soft-Bottoms around Dokdo in the East Sea, Korea (한국 동해 독도 주변 천해 및 사면해역의 대형저서동물군집)

  • The faunal assembalges of macrobenthos and their habitat conditions on the soft-bottoms around Dokdo(Dok Island) was investigated using a box corer and a van Veen grab in Sept. 1999 and May 2000. The sediments in the slope sites were composed of sand particles and those in Ullneung Basin were mud. The sediments in the shelf sites were in the range of fine to medium sand. The organic content of the slope sediments was in the range of 1 to 2%. The macrobenthos occurred at the slope sites represented by 15faunal groups belonging to 8 phyla, and the major faunal group was polychaetous annelids. They comprised ca. 80.6% in slope sites, and 84.8% in shelf sites. Dominant species in the slope were Exogone verugera(40.9%), Cossura longocirrata (8.4%), Tharyx sp. (6.6%), Scalibregma inflatum (4.9%), Aedicira sp. (4.7%), Aricidea ramosa (3.8%), and Sigambra tentaculata (3.7%). Dominant species in the shelf were Chone sp. (49.3%), Tharyx sp. (18.4%), Ophelina acuminata (6.7%), Chaetozone setosa (3.8%), Glycera sp. (2.6%), and Aedicira sp. (2.4%). The mean densities of macrobenthos in the slope and shelf area were $2,028\;ind./m^2$ and $456\;ind./m^2$, respectively. The trophic composition of benthic polychaete worms in the slope area was different from that in shallow shelf area: surface deposit feeding worms were most abundant in slope area whereas filter feeding worms in shelf area. According to the cluster analysis and MDS plots, the spatial distribution of macrobenthos in Dokdo slope region was related with the sediment properties such as particle size and organic content. In the case of vertical distribution of macrobenthos in slope sites, most faunas concentrated in the upper sediment layer within 2cm depth.

염분변화에 따른 황복의 산소소비와 암모니아 질소배설

  • 황복(Takifugus obscurus)은 주로 황해에 분포하며 봄철에 서해안으로 흐르는 금강, 한강 및 임진강으로 소상하여 강의 중상류에서 산란하는 소하성어류이다. 특히 황복은 바다와 하천을 오고 가는 관계로 해수뿐만 아니라 민물에서도 양식이 가능한 어종으로 다른 소하성어류와 마찬가지로 염분변화에 따른 삼투조절능력이 매우 우수할 것으로 생각된다. 본 연구는 황복이 급격히 염분을 달리하였을 때 나타나는 생리적 반응을 산소소비량과 암모니아 질소배설량의 변화로 염분변화에 따른 생리적 적응력을 살펴보고자 하였다. 본 연구에 사용한 황복은 전장 10cm(체중 15~25g) 전후의 치어로서 염분 32, 22, 12, 및 2 ppt로 조절되어 있는 FRP수조(500 L)에서 2개월간 사육 후, 각기 염분을 달리한(32, 22, 12, 2 ppt) 호흡측정 장치에 황복을 수용하여 산소소비량과 암모니아 질소배설량을 측정하였다. 한편, 사육 시스템내에서의 산소소비와 암모니아 질소의 배설경향을 보기 위하여 염분 16ppt에서 산소소비량과 암모니아 질소배설량을 25시간 관찰하였다. 산소소비 경향은 대체로 염분이 낮을수록 높은 산소소비 경향을 보였는데, 실험염분 32ppt에서는 2~32ppt 사육군 모두 다른 실험염분(22, 12, 2 ppt) 사육군보다 안정되고 낮은 산소소비량을 나타내었다. 그리고 실험염분 22, 12 및 2 ppt에서는 각기 실험염분과 동일한 염분 사육군에서 가장 높은 산소소비량을 나타낸 반면 32 ppt 사육군은 모든 실험염분에서 가장 낮은 산소소비량을 나타내었다. 암모니아 질소의 배설경향은 실험염분 2 ppt를 제외하고는 2 ppt 사육군에서 가장 높은 질소 배설율을 보였으나, 실험염분 2 ppt에서는 오히려 현저히 낮은 암모니아 질소 배설율을 나타내었다. 저 염분(2, 12 ppt)에서 사육한 황복은 22 및 32 ppt에서 사육된 황복에 비해 저염분에 노출될 경우 삼투조절을 위해 암모니아 배설에 상당한 차이를 보였다. 사육 시스템내에서 조사된 산소소비와 암모니아 질소 배설경향은 섭이와 관련하여 일간리듬을 보였는데, 산소소비는 섭이 3시간 후에 최고를 보였으며 암모니아 질소 배설은 섭이 4시간 후에 각각 최고를 나타내었다.

The Spatio-temporal Distribution of Zooplankton Communities in the Northern Yellow Sea During Autumn and Winter (가을-겨울철 황해 북부의 동물플랑크톤 시공분포 특성)

  • The joint cruises of six times between Korea and China were carried out for a better understanding of the environmental and oceanographical characteristics of the Yellow Sea for 6 years from 1998 to 2003. Zooplankton samples were collected one time per year at 24 stations on 3 lines of the Yellow Sea. The aim of this study is to understand the seasonal fluctuation of zooplankton community in the Yellow Sea. There is no trend on the spatio-temporal distribution of zooplankton. Copepoda, the major taxon of the Yellow Sea, was high in distribution in the eastern part and Chaetognatha in the western part of the Yellow Sea. In this results, the dominant copepods were Calanus sinicus, Paracalanus parvus s.l., Oithona atlantica, and Corycaeus affinis during the study periods. The density fluctuation of these dominant species may be an important factor in determining the fisheries resource of the Yellow Sea.

Study on Variation of Local Atmospheric Circulation Due to Road Development in Mountain Area (산악지역 도로건설에 따른 국지 대기순환의 변화에 관한 연구)

  • In order to clarify the efficiency of ground level change in Ice-valley on atmospheric circulation, numerical experiment was carried out. The circulations over the slope in North and South are different due to the topography and short wave radiation in Ice-valley. Therefore the circulations in both side are asymmetric and the asymmetric circulations are kept on at 1800 LST. A small difference of the atmospheric circulations formation is made due to the road construction at night. The reason may be the weakness of sensible heat flux from the road and other factors except that the sensible heat is not a principal factor in road construction. The construction of road is associated with growing of sensible heat from the road surface. For this reason, in case of daytime, ascending wind in north slope is more stronger with the road than that without road. The maximum wind speed becomes 4.67 m/s after road construction. And the position of the road is also an important factor in estimation of mesoscale circulation in mountainous area.
