This study was attempted to confirm the correlation between anxiety, communication skills, and nursing professionalism due to the replacement on-campus practice of nursing students due to the COVID-19 outbreak. The subjects of this study were 131 nursing students in 3rd and 4th grade, and data were collected from October 30, 2021 to November 23, 2021. The collected data were analyzed with SPSS Statistics 28.0 using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, and Person's correlation. As a result of the study, it was found that there was a negative correlation between anxiety and nursing professionalism(r=-.332, p<.001), and there was a positive correlation between communication ability and nursing professionalism (r=.364, p=.000) Based on this study, it is necessary to develop and apply an effective clinical practice education intervention method that can reduce anxiety caused by on-campus practice to enhance nursing professionalism and enhance communication ability. Based on this study, it is necessary to understand the relationship between grade level and nursing professionalism, and to develop and apply an effective anxiety intervention method that can increase nursing professionalism by reducing anxiety caused by on-campus practice.

This study was aimed at investigating relationship between global health nursing competency and multicultural acceptance of nursing students. The subjects were 145 nursing students from a university, and data were collected from June 8 to 19, 2020. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and regression. The subjects' global health nursing competency was 2.81±1.11 points (four-point scale) and multicultural acceptance was 3.84±0.68 points (six-point scale). Global health nursing competency differed according to gender and degree of preparation as a global nurse, and multicultural acceptance differed according to gender, multicultural education experience, and degree of preparation as a global nurse. Global health nursing competency had a positive correlation with multicultural acceptance (r=.18, p=.027), and it was showed that multicultural acceptance affected global health nursing competency (B=.29, p=.027). To be prepared as a global nurse, it is necessary to enhance the global citizen insight about multicultural experiences.

This study try to confirm the relationship between clinical reasoning competence, critical thinking propensity, and confidence in performing core basic nursing skills among nursing students. The subjects of the study were 157 third and fourth year nursing students at D University in Daejeon, and the survey was conducted through a self-questionnaire from Nov. 2 to Nov. 15, 2022. The collected materials were analyzed using the SPSS/WIN26.0 program. The results showed the correlation between clinical reasoning competence and critical thinking propensity (r=.417, p<.001), clinical reasoning competence and core basic nursing performance confidence (r=.659, p<.001), critical thinking propensity and core basic nursing performance confidence (r=.303, p<.001). Therefore, the results of this study can be used as a basis for developing various curriculums to increase the confidence of nursing college students in performing core basic nursing techniques.

Objectives: The purposes of this study were to investigate CHPs' knowledge, attitude, and practice regarding UI, and to identify predictors of their UI related practice. Methods: A descriptive-correlational study using self-administered questionnaire was conducted. A total of 330 members of the local Korean Association of CHPs were included in this study. A mailed survey was conducted to collect data. Findings: Of CHPs surveyed, 170(51.5%) returned completed questionnaire. Educational preparation of CHPs regarding UI was limited. The mean correct score of knowledge scale was 68.96%. Overall, CHPs exhibited positive attitudes toward UI. CHPs in this study were not actively participate UI related practice. Contrary to expectation, knowledge was not significantly related to CHPs' practice regarding UI. In the final analysis, CHPs' practice regarding UI was predicted by attitude toward the care of UI clients and educational needs for UI and these two variables explained 9% of variance of UI related practice. Conclusion: The results of this study suggest the importance of attitude and educational needs in shaping UI related practice among CHPs. To facilitate UI related practice among CHPs, efforts for attitudinal change related to UI among CHPs are needed. Moreover, continuing educational program for UI management should be developed, applied and evaluated.
