  • 교수-학습 현장에서 일반제시형, 전달형의 자료는 컴퓨터 환경에 익숙한 학생들에게 더 이상의 효과를 주기 어렵다. 따라서 학습자 주도적인 학습자료가 필요하다. 이러한 개념에 바탕을 두어 과학 에듀게임을 설계 및 구현하여 제시하고자 한다. 게임의 주인공이 과학의 4영역인 에너지, 물질, 생명, 지구 각각의 영역을 하나의 무대로 사용하여 활동하고 과학수수께끼를 해결하면서 과학의 이론과 개념에 접근하고 미션을 완수하면서 상위개념을 획득하며 피드백을 통해 습득된 이론을 종합하고 경험의 폭을 넓히는 과정으로 설계하였다. 학습자의 흥미와 집중을 유도하기 위해 실시간 전투 RPG의 형식을 도입하였으며 향후 연구에서 스토리 보강과 각 단원의 세부 맵 보강이 요구된다.

Phase Segmentation of PVA Fiber-Reinforced Cementitious Composites Using U-net Deep Learning Approach (U-net 딥러닝 기법을 활용한 PVA 섬유 보강 시멘트 복합체의 섬유 분리)

  • The development of an analysis model that reflects the microstructure characteristics of polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) fiber-reinforced cementitious composites, which have a highly complex microstructure, enables synergy between efficient material design and real experiments. PVA fiber orientations are an important factor that influences the mechanical behavior of PVA fiber-reinforced cementitious composites. Owing to the difficulty in distinguishing the gray level value obtained from micro-CT images of PVA fibers from adjacent phases, fiber segmentation is time-consuming work. In this study, a micro-CT test with a voxel size of 0.65 ㎛3 was performed to investigate the three-dimensional distribution of fibers. To segment the fibers and generate training data, histogram, morphology, and gradient-based phase-segmentation methods were used. A U-net model was proposed to segment fibers from micro-CT images of PVA fiber-reinforced cementitious composites. Data augmentation was applied to increase the accuracy of the training, using a total of 1024 images as training data. The performance of the model was evaluated using accuracy, precision, recall, and F1 score. The trained model achieved a high fiber segmentation performance and efficiency, and the approach can be applied to other specimens as well.

  • This paper presents a new approach to the design of speed and azimuth control of a mobile robot with two drive wheels. The proposed control scheme uses a Gaussian function as a unit function in the neural-fuzzy network and back propagation algorithm to train the neural-fuzzy network controller in the framework of the specialized learning architecture. It is proposed to a learned controller with two neural-fuzzy networks based on an independent reasoning and a connection net with fixed weights to simplify the neural-fuzzy network. The performance of the proposed controller can be seen by the computer simulation for trajectory tracking of the speed and azimuth of a mobile robot driven by two independent wheels.

Education Needs Assessment of Managers for Learning Organization in Small and Mum Enterprises (중소기업 학습조직 담당자의 교육 요구조사)

  • In this study, to figure out the demands for learning, a survey was conducted on learning organization agents participating in learning organization project supported by public fund, through measuring their awareness level of the role and tasks drawn from the precedent study. This questionnaire was developed with four roles and twenty competencies drawn from the precedent study. After conducting the survey on over 200 small and medium corporations participated in learning organization project, the data was analyzed about the role and competency from 123 answer sheets collected. The results were as following First, the awareness of role importance was higher(4.36) than present level(3.73), and was important in order of innovator, operator, spreader, promoter. Second, in competitive importance of learning organization agents, the role of spreader was high, that of promoter was low. Third, in awareness level of learning organization agents, the demand level was generally high(4.1), but acquired level was generally low, so there was a wide gap between the demand level and acquired level. Forth, From the analysis result of those data about work competency of learning organization agents, learning organization promoter and learning leader, KMS operator ability and outcome were come out to be necessary, and next administrative ability about organization changes were come out to be necessary.

Automatic Text Classification by Learning from Unlabeled Data (레이블이 없는 데이터로부터의 학습에 의한 자동 문서 분류)

  • 본 논문에서는 레이블이 없는 데이터를 이용하는 새로운 자동 문서 분류 방법을 제시한다. 제시된 방법은 적은 수의 레이블이 있는 데이터로부터 학습된 후 많은 수의 레이블이 없는 데이터로 보강되는 일련의 분류기(classifier)에 기반한다. 레이블이 없는 데이터를 활용하기 때문에, 필요한 레이블이 있는 데이터의 수가 줄어들고, 분류 정확도가 향상된다. 두 개의 표준 데이터 집합에 대한 실험 결과, 레이블이 없는 데이터를 사용함으로써 분류 정확도가 증가함을 보였다. 분류 정확도는 전체 데이터의 2/3만 사용하고도 NIPS 2000 워크숍 데이터 집합에 대해서는 약 7.9% 정도, WebKB 데이터 집합에 대해서는 9.2% 증가하였다.

  • Aging and severe environments are major causes of damage in reinforced concrete (RC) structures such as buildings and bridges. Deterioration such as concrete cracks, corrosion of steel, and deformation of structural members can significantly degrade the structural performance and safety. Therefore, effective and easy-to-use methods are desired for repairing and strengthening such concrete structures. Various methods for strengthening and rehabilitation of RC structures have been developed in the past several decades. Recently, FRP composite materials have emerged as a cost-effective alternative to the conventional materials for repairing, strengthening, and retrofitting deteriorating/deficient concrete structures, by externally bonding FRP laminates to concrete structural members. The main purpose of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system (ANFIS) in predicting behavior of circular type concrete column retrofitted with FRP. To construct training and testing dataset, experiment results for the specimens which have different retrofit profile are used. Retrofit ratio, strength of existing concrete, thickness, number of layer, stiffness, ultimate strength of fiber and size of specimens are selected as input parameters to predict strength, strain, and stiffness of post-yielding modulus. These proposed ANFIS models show reliable increased accuracy in predicting constitutive properties of concrete retrofitted by FRP, compared to the constitutive models suggested by other researchers.

  • In this paper, we can easily update teaming information by using database built in web server system in implementation of a web courseware that a learner can effectively team the 'Digital Circuits' subject. Also, we offered multimedia elements such as graphics, animations, and voices etc. for increasing understanding and interaction of teaming and designed and implemented a simulation-type web courseware of practice-oriented. In result, it can encourage a learner with a motive of learning and increase effects of teaming. Also, a learner can learn various contents because we can add teaming contents to database according to needs. Furthermore, it can improve understanding for teaming by offering feedback on the result. In future, we need to design and implement circuits with more complex and many functions by adding circuit with function that can store.
