  • The purpose of this paper is to reduce the ratio of the patient accidents that may occur in nursing hospitals. In other words, it determines whether the person approaching the dangerous area is a elderly (patient uniform) group or a practitioner(Casual Clothing) group, based on the clothing displayed by CCTV. We collected the basic learning data from web crawling techniques and nursing hospitals. Then model training data was created with Image Generator and Labeling program. Due to the limited performance of CCTV, it is difficult to create a good model with both high accuracy and speed. Therefore, we implemented the ResNet model with relatively excellent accuracy and the YOLO3 model with relatively excellent speed. Then we wanted to allow nursing hospitals to choose a model that they wanted. As a result of the study, we implemented a model that can distinguish patient and casual clothes with appropriate accuracy. Therefore, it is believed that it will contribute to the reduction of safety accidents in nursing hospitals by preventing the elderly from accessing the danger zone.

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest hospital clothing design which reflects ubiquitous info-communications technology as changing hospital environment in the information-oriented era of the 21st century. The methods of this study are documentary research of previous studies, observation research and deep interviews. Seoul national university hospital is selected as a target of observation for this study. Doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and patients who are the representative jobs in the hospital are interviewed from on July, 13, 2006 to on August, 1, 2006. According to observation research, the computers, OCR, and PACS are applied from registration to dosage through all courses of diagnosis. However, the most inconvenient problems to patients are the location of medical offices and confusion of reservation. Also, the needs and inconveniences of doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and patients are almost solved by using RFID technology as a result of deep interviews. They prefer wearing devices as an accessory to wearing devices as a clothing directly. In conclusion, suggested UFC design for hospital clothing with info-communications technology promotes efficiency, accuracy, convenience of work to medical personnel in changing hospital environment as the flow of the information-oriented era of the 21st century.

  • This study uses the qualitative research method to describe the burnout experience in Mental Health Social Workers (MHSW) working in psychiatric hospitals. Data was collected and analyzed to identify the main themes from two in-depth interviews with four MHSWs who have been working in psychiatric hospitals for more than 5 years located in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province area. The results of the study show that burnout manifests as; 'not being recognized as professionals,' 'being skeptical of the role of social workers,' 'distancing oneself from patients and their family members,' and 'feeling realistic problems and limitations.' The results of this research are expected to be used as basic data to both understand and prevent the burnout experience of mental health social workers.
