간이 Fine-Blanking 가공 기술 개발

  • 금속의 가공공정에 있어 중요한 인자중의 하나인 재료의 연성은 환경뿐만 아니라 주변압력에 따라 변화한다는 사실이 20세기에 들어 여러 연구자들에 의해 밝혀졌고 1950년대 Birdgman에 의해 최초로 실험적인 방법으로 증면되었다. 재료의 이와같은 현상을 압력유도연성이라 하는데 이는 주변압력이 재료 내부에서의 공동발생 및 그 성장에 관계하기 때문인 것으로 알려졌다. 공동의 합체 및 성장은 연성파괴의 전체조건이 되므로 이를 억제하면 성형성 및 연성이 증가됨을 알 수 있다. 금속의 압력 유도 연성을 이용한 가공방법을 가압금속형형이라 한다. 최근에 가압금속형의 범주는 크게늘고 있 는데 특히, 성형,블랭킹, 분말야금법 등에 널리 이용되고 있다. 정수압의 크기에 다른전단면의 상태 변화 즉, 소성 변형능에 관한 연구는 Fine-Blanking가공이론에 적용, 해석되고 있다.

  • 본 논문은 구조용 후판 강재로 절곡되었을 때, 절곡부재의 구조연성 변화에 대한 해석 방안과 이에 따른 해석적 평가 사례를 제시하고 있다. 절곡 방법에 의한 제작과정에서 재료는 변형경화 현상이 발생한다. 이로 인해 구조연성 저하가 불가피하기 때문에 절곡부재의 휨연성 검토가 필요하다. 해석 방안은 유한요소해석 프로그램인 ABAQUS를 이용하였다. Lanczos 알고리즘을 적용한 고유치해석과 재료 비탄성-기하비선형을 고려한 비선형 해석을 하였다. 비선형해석 절곡에 의한 재료특성을 고려하였다. 극한 하중과 파괴모드를 평가하기 위해 Newton-Raphson method, modified Riks method를 적용한 단계별 하중재하 해석을 실시하였다. 본 연구를 통해 휨연성을 평가하는데 활용 될 것으로 판단된다.

  • 패키지 기술의 개발은 저비용, 고성능, 높은 패키징 효율의 추세로 가고 있다. 이러한 추세에 따라 기판재료의 개발 및 구조의 변형이 요구된다. 패키지의 한 형태인 MCM(Multi-Chip Module)에 연성기판을 사용할 경우 fine pattern이 가능하고 부피가 작기 때문에 패키지의 효율이 좋고 또한 reel to reel process에 적용이 가능하기 때문에 대량생산의 이점을 가지고 있다. 연성기판은 좋은 전기적 특성을 가진 polyimide와 구리 층으로 구성된다. 그러나 polyimide와 구리 계층 사이에 약한 접착력과 구리로의 polyamic acid의 diffusion, 다층 기판의 제조의 어려움 등의 문제점을 남겨두고 있다. 본 연구는 일반적인 polyimide/copper가 구조가 가지고 있는 문제점을 해결하고 구리 패턴을 제작하기 위해 에칭을 쓰는 것을 배제함으로 fine pattern을 이루어 내었으며 전기도금으로 완전하게 채워진 pluged via을 사용함으로 각층간의 연결에 신뢰성을 부여하였다. 또한, 연성기판의 구조적인 문제점인 해결하여 다층 연성기판을 제조하려고 한다.

Evaluation of Ductility in Reinforced Concrete Members Using Material Models in Eurocode2 (유로코드 2 재료모형을 사용한 철근콘크리트 부재의 연성도 평가)

  • In concrete structural design provisons, there is a minimum allowable strain of steel to ensure a ductility of RC members and a c/d is limited for the same purpose in EC2. In general, a ductility capacity of RC members is evaluated by a displacement ductility which is a ratio of ultimate displacement to yield displacement, and it is necessary to calculate accurately a yield displacement and an ultimate displacement to evaluate a displacement ductility. But a displacement in members is affected by various member characteristics, so it is hard to calculate a displacement exactly. In this study, a displacement ductility is calculated by calculating a yield displacement and an ultimate displacement through a moment-curvature relationship. The main variables examined are concrete strength, yield strength, steel ratio, spacing of confinement, axial force ratio and concrete ultimate strain. As results, as a concrete strength is increased, a ductility displacement is increased. But as yield strength, steel ratio, spacing of confinement and axial force ratio are increased, a displacement ductility is decreased. And a displacement ductility is necessary to calculate a response modification factor (R) of columns for seismic design, so it is appeared that it is important to calculate a displacement ductility more accurately.

Engineering Properties of Mylonite in the Youngju Area (영주지역 압쇄암의 공학적 특성 연구)

  • The area to be studied is the place where the main line rail way will be constructed in accordance with the scheduled construction project of Yeongju dam, and is a fold and mylonite zone over several km that is formed by ductile-shearing effect. The ductile shear zone, which has been transformed by faulting for long geological time, shows a complicated geological structure. Due to the recrystallization of mineral caused by transformation in deep underground (>8km), a mylonite zone with lamellar structure has properties distinguished from other fault zones formed by transformation near earth surface <2km). To see the properties of mylonite, this study analyzed the transformation rate of sample rocks and the shape of constriction structure accompanied with transformation. While the transformation of fault zone shows a round oblate, the mylonite zone shows a prolate form. Transformation rate in fault zone was measured to be less than 1.2 compared to the state before transformation while the measured rate in mylonite zone was 2.5 at most. Setting the surface of discontinuity as the base, the unconfined compressive strength of slickenside can be categorized in sedimentary rocks, and a change of strength was observed after water soaking over certain time. Taking into account that the weathering resistance of the rock based on mineral and chemical organization is relatively higher, its engineering properties seems to result from the shattered crack structure by crushing effect. When undertaking tunnel construction in mylonite zone, there should be a special care for the expansion of shattered cracks or the fall of strength by influx of ground water.

Shear Strain Big-Bang of RC Membrane Panel Subjected to Shear (순수전단이 작용하는 RC막판넬의 전단변형률 증폭)

  • Recently, nine $1397{\times}1397{\times}178mm$ RC panels were tested under in-plane pure-shear monotonic loading condition using the Panel Element Tester by Hsu (1997, ACI). By combining the equilibrium, compatibility, and the softened stress-strain relationship of concrete in biaxial state, Modern Truss Model (MCFT, RA-STM) are capable of producing the nonlinear analysis of RC membrane panel through the complicated trial-and-error method with double loop. In this paper, an efficient algorithm with one loop is proposed for the refined Mohr compatibility Method based on the strut-tie failure criteria. This algorithm can be speedy calculated to analyze the shear history of RC membrane element using the results of Hsu test. The results indicate that the response of shear deformation energy at Big Bang of shear strain significantly influenced by the principal compressive stress-strain (crushing failure).

Study on the Burr Formation and Fracture at the Exit Stage in Orthogonal Cutting (2차원절삭에서 공구이탈시 발생하는 버(Burr)와 파단에 관한 연구)

  • In orthogonal machining a quantitative model for burr formation process and fracture when tool exits workpiece is proposed. When no fracture during burr formation burr formation process is divided by three parts; Initiation, Development and Final burr formation. According to the properties of workpiece fracture will happen or not after initiation of burr formation. Considering the fact that fracture depends on the ductility of workpiece, the fracture strain obtained from ductile fracture criterion is used for prediction. It is verified that the fracture strain from tension test can be used as fracture criterion in burr formation without large error. For detailed observation of burr formation an experimental stage for micro orthogonal cutting inside SEM (Scanning Electron Microscope) is built. Through the comparison between model prediction and experimental result from orthogonal machining in milling machine the model is verified.

Constitutive Model of Laterally Confined High Strength Concrete (횡구속된 고강도 콘크리트의 구성모델)

  • Since existing constitutive models developed for confined normal strength concrete overestimate ductility when they are applied to confined high strength concrete, these models cannot be directly applied to confined high strength concrete. In an effort to solve this problem, an accurate stress-strain relationship of the hihg strength concrete needs to be formulated by examining the confinement effects due to increase of the concrete strength. In this study, a constitutive model is developed to express the stress-strain relationship of confined high strength concrete by carrying out regression analysis of the main parameters affection strength and ductile behavior of reinforced high strength concrete columns. Twenty-five test specimens were chosen from the reported experimental studies in the literature. The experimental results of stress-strain relationships of show a good agreement with results of the stress-strain relationships of suggested high strength concrete, covering a strength range between 60 and 124 MPa.

Development of Finite Element Ductile Tearing Simulation Model Considering Strain Rate Effect (변형률 속도를 고려한 유한요소 기반 연성 찢김 해석 기법 개발)

  • This paper proposes ductile failure simulation under high strain rate conditions using finite element (FE) analyses. In order to simulate a cracked component under a high strain rate condition, this paper applies the stress-modified fracture strain model combined with the Johnson/Cook model. The stress-modified fracture strain model determines the incremental damage in terms of stress triaxiality (${\sigma}_m/{\sigma}_e$) and fracture strain (${\varepsilon}_f$) for a dimple fracture using the tensile test results. To validate the stress-modified fracture strain model under dynamic loading conditions, the parameters are calibrated using the tensile test results under various strain rates and the fracture toughness test results under quasi-static conditions. The calibrated damage model predicts the CT test results under a high strain rate. The simulated results were then compared with the experimental data.

Anaysis of Elasto-plastic Deforming of Sturcture by Hydrodynamic Force Using Fluid Structure Interaction Method (유체-고체 연성 해석 기법을 통해 유체에 의한 고체의 탄소성 거동 해석 연구)

  • This paper presents numerical investigation on behaviors of the rear cover in the vertical launcher under rocket plume loading by using fluid-structure interaction analysis. The rocket plume loading is modeled by the fully Eulerian method and elasto-plastic behavior of the rear cover is predicted by the total Lagrangian method based on a 9-node planar element. The interface motion and boundary conditions are described by a hybrid particle level-set method within the ghost fluid framework. The present results will be compared with the experimental data in the future.
