  • dynamic modelling method is applied to the driving simulation which has the calculable model of engine, transmission, vehicle. And driving pattern is used for database by actual tests and analyzed in neural network system. The simulation is compared to real test results and structures to the tracked vehicle powertrain.

습식클러치 패드의 Groove 패턴에 의한 변속기유의 동적 거동 (Analysis of Dynamic Behaviors of Transmission Fluid Film in Wet Clutch Pad according to Patterned Grooves)

  • Transmission fluid film behaviors in the gap between the wet clutch pad and separator plate are analyzed using the CFD software ADINA. Three pattern groove designs are selected and are used to validate the fluid film behaviors based on the outlet flow in the gap when the wet clutch pad and separator plate are engaged. The main design goal for pattern grooves is faster engagement. In most cases, much of the outlet flow of transmission fluid in the gap occurs on the outer radius boundary due to the centrifugal force generated by the clutch pad circular motion. Groove patterns are created to ensure faster transmission fluid outlet flow in the direction of the inner radius boundary. Computational results of the selected groove patterns are compared.

  • 와전류를 이용한 비파괴검사장비가 자동차 변속기 부품의 결함유무를 판단하기 위해 개발되었다. 본 탐상기에서는 부품에서 발생하는 결함을 패턴별로 검사하기 위한 결함 마스터 샘플을 만들고, 결함의 형태별로 탐상 가능한 와전류 탐상기를 제작하여 시험을 하였다. 또한 실제 결함이 있는 불량품을 대상으로 결함발생 원인 및 결함발생 형태를 조사하며, 탐상시험을 통해 결과를 비교 분석하였다. 본 연구에서 개발된 와전류 탐상기는 비전문가도 모니터에 나타난 탐상기 결과로부터 부품의 결함여부를 쉽게 판단할 수 있도록 시스템 소프트웨어를 개발하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 엘리베이터 속도 패턴을 결정하는데 중요한 2개의 요소인 편안한 승차감과 빠른 운송속도를 가지며 교통량 변화에 따른 다양한 속도 패턴을 제공 할 수 있는 새로운 속도 패턴 발생 방법을 제안한다. 기동과 정지 시에 변속 충격을 줄이기 위해서 가속과 감속 시간을 적절히 조정하고, 운송능력을 향상시키기 위해서 교통량 변화에 맞춰서 저크를 조정한다. 2입력 1출력의 퍼지 추론 시스템을 사용하여, 제안한 속도패턴을 가진 엘리베이터 시스템을 정밀 제어한다.

  • This paper proposes the compensation algorithm of conventional shift pattern using fuzzy reasoning in automatic transmission vehicles. Recently, automatic transimssion vehicles are continually increasing because of theire ease to drive. Also users require the high performance which includes the smooth shift quality and shift scheduling that matches driver;s intentions. So the shift scheduling has been inproved significantly through the application of electronic control. But, in spite of this development, vehicles using conventional shift pattern are sometimes in discord with driver's intention on roads. In this paper, the paper, the proposed compensation algorithm makes a automatic transmission vehicle be able to select an optimal gear shifting time and position using fuzzy reasoning and make a vehicle driver feel confortable even when the vehicle runs on roads which is extremely changed. Therefore, a vehicle driver can expect to reduce the nimber of unnecessary gear shifting and expect the fuel efficiency high. To show usefulness of the proposed method, some simulation are made to compared with conventional gear shifting. Paper prosposes the compensation mehtod of conventional shift pattern using fuzzy reasoning for the purpose that a vehicle can select an optimal gerar shifting time and position in automatic vehicle. Though the conventional shift pattern has no pliability, vehicle driver can feel comfortable and can reduce the number of unnecessary gear shifting using the proposed method on variable road condition. Therefore, it can be expected the fuel efficiency.

습식클러치 마찰재의 체결 거동에 의한 마찰열 해석 (Frictional Heat Generation in Wet Clutch Engagement according to Groove Pattern on Clutch Pad)

  • Frictional heat greatly influences the friction behaviors during clutch engagement. Therefore, the engagement of a wet or dry clutch is frequently not under control by the frictional heat. In a wet clutch, the frictional temperature also specially needs to be controlled, and in many cases, the clutch material is selected to prevent a temperature rise from the friction between friction pad and separator. However, only the selection of the clutch material cannot ensure sufficient control of the temperature rise by the friction. The groove pattern on a friction pad is designed for more flow rates of transmission fluid between the contact gap of clutch pad and separator for the cooling effect. In this work, grove patterns are designed for more flow rates out of the contact gap between friction pad and separator plate. Selected groove design shows the improvement flow rates of transmission fluid through both inner and outer radius, where most of the transmission fluid flows through the outer radius when the clutch is engaged due to the centrifugal force in conventional wet clutch groove. Several comparisons of the amounts of frictional heat generated on clutch pads are made in order to verify the decrease of the temperature rise according to the flow rates along the groove patterns.
