Recently, crime prediction and prevention are the most important social issues, and global and local governments have tried to prevent crime using various methodologies. One of the methodologies, data mining can be applied at various crime fields such as crime pattern analysis, crime prediction, etc. However, there is few researches to find the relationships between the results of data mining and crime components in terms of criminology. In this study, we introduced environmental criminology, and identified relationships between environment factors related with crime and variables using at data mining. Then, using real burglary data occurred in South Korea, we applied clustering to show relations of results of data mining and crime environment factors. As a result, there were differences in the crime environment caused by each cluster. Finally, we showed the meaning of data mining use at crime prediction and prevention area in terms of criminology.

The purpose of this study is to examine the possibility of crime prevention in consideration of urban physical environment by analyzing the spatial distribution characteristics and pattern using actual crime occurrence data of the case city. The crime data was rebuilt by transforming them into geographic information system to analyze the spatial aspect of crime occurrence. The findings are as follows: a change from 2008 to 2011 is indicated with similar trend. But the local movements of crime hot spots are found. Moreover crimes were happening along the roads in linear pattern rather than inside of blocks in commercial area. This indicates the importance of environmental improvement of roads and open spaces. In addition it was found that the crime occurrence in a dangerous district can be reduced and prevented through the physical environment design and urban planning. The findings will contribute to promoting fundamental crime prevention as the physical environmental improvement in a city and to building a safe community as its result.

Humans are influenced by economic factors, physical environment factors, social and environmental factors, influenced by the media. In particular, the occurrence of the crime for fear of crime due to the human activities of the area has reduced. Fear of crime inflienced by direct victim of a crime, disorder of the surrounding environment, and indirect victims of crime. Therefore, in order to reduce their fears about crime in the private security through crime prevention and. About the factors affecting their fears about crime in the actual selection of the private security and private security activities in order to solve these problems through crime prevention, through this study will be described. In this study, we randomly select the survey was in August 2011, as detached house in Seoul and Daegu. As a result, the fear of crime fears about crime were influenced directly or indirectly by factors of private security selection.

최근 학교폭력 및 묻지마 범죄가 꾸준히 증가추세에 있다. 2011년 12월 학교폭력에 의한 대구중학생 자살사건, 2010년 2월 김길태 사건과 6월 김수철 사건, 2016년 5월 강남역 노래방 살인사건과 6월 섬마을 여교사 사건 등 사회적 약자인 소년, 여성 대상범죄 및 묻지마 범죄가 사회문제로 대두되고 있다. 이에 따라 범죄예방 도구이자 전략으로써 CPTED가 하나의 대안으로 부각되고 있다. 국토교통부는 건축물, 건축설비 및 대지에 관한 범죄예방 기준인 '범죄예방 건축기준 고시'를 2015년부터 시행하고 있는데 적용대상 건물 등은 이 기준에 따라 설계하고 건축해야 한다. 현대 위험사회에서 강력범죄 및 경범죄의 사전예방을 위해서는 사회 안전시스템 구축이 요구되며 그 대안으로 환경설계를 통해 범행기회를 심리적, 물리적으로 차단하는 정책을 모색함으로써 환경범죄학 입장에서 범죄예방에 접근할 필요가 있다.

본 연구는 대한민국의 나날이 증가하는 범죄에 대한 문제의식을 바탕으로 주요 강력범죄 중 여성을 대상으로 삼는 범죄의 심각성에 대하여 초점을 두고 있다. 특히 4대 강력범죄 중 살인, 강간의 경우 여성이 피해자가 되는 경우가 매우 높게 나타나고 있으며, 최근 데이트 폭력 및 몰카범죄 등이 심각한 사회문제가 되고 있는 실정이다. 이에 여성을 대상으로 하는 범죄의 경우 다양한 기술이 결합된 CPTED를 활용하여 사회적 안전 확보 및 효과적인 환경설계를 통한 범죄예방 방안에 대하여 연구하였다.

The interest in the prevention of sex crimes and social secure is growing as the number of cases by sexual offences becomes higher. Although various punishable ways have been introduced so far, increasing sex crime is still going on. Thus, effectiveness of legal systems for preventing crimes is questionable. More recently, the approach for environmental criminology has been paid attention for reducing criminal opportunities through environmental design and management of crimes. This study attempts to look over the spatial distribution of sexual crimes in the context of environmental criminology, and examine the correlation between regional environmental factors and the occurrence of sexual crimes empirically. To do this, we visualized the map for sex crimes at the macro-scale and explored the spatial distribution of sexual crimes and spatial clusters based on various spatial statistics using sex crime data published online by the ministry of gender equality and family. Also, we derived the environmental characteristics of sexual crimes by multivariate regression analysis on a large number of explanatory variables of regional environment. Our results will help to understand the current situation and spatial aspects of sex crimes in the nation more realistically. Further, it is respected that our results might be useful basic information for establishing regional policies and plans for the prevention of the sexual crime and enhanced public policing.

This study is to find out empirically how the fear of crime is affected by the level of recognition of people. CPTED elements including natural surveillance, access control, utilization enhancement, territoriality securement, etc. Safety of residents could be considered and then increased when we plan, design, and operate a city. In Korea, CPTED is currently being applied to every town. However, it is not systemized and neither efficient, for there are no constraint provisions, and the foreign cases are not specifically customized to the current situation of the country. This study, therefore, aims to find the limits from analyzing related laws and regimes, administrative regulations, and applied cases, and to deduct improvement plans based on examined foreign cases.

In modern society, citizens' quality of life aspects of safety and crime prevention activities are actively considering the incidence of crime prevention in advance. It also can be quite important elicit the interest of who community members through effective crime prevention strategies. For crime prevention policies and techniques over time as more scientific and advanced methods are made. Today, A typical crime prevention strategies is private security zones and Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) is a corresponding to the new strategy. CPTED is a diversification can be called a crime prevention approach that emphasizes the principle of natural surveillance, access control, territoriality, activity support, maintenance and management. The defensible space of the space area related to crime prevention setting the activities of private security and CPTED determine. Also, the reality of crime prevention and protection should be considered space. The emphasis on proactive prevention of crime in modern society for the prevention of crime how to approach differing perspectives and disparate aspects of private security and CPTED. Technical and professional areas that overlap to some extent in a homogeneous aspect. Ultimately, CPTED is a crime prevention through space and environmental approach for crime. In addition, Ultimate goal of convergence, crime prevention, with the same or higher is required to study for the area after looking for the characteristics and limitations of private security and CPTED.

AThis research is rather on the crime occurrence of target area's space scope than on the approach to the cause of specific area's crime occurrence from the perspective of the environmental criminology emphasizing the crime prevention. By observing the composition of crime distribution, it is intended to search the strategies of crime prevention actually corresponded to the crime problems. For this, after segmenting the city into six sectors, targeting city crimes in Gwangju metropolitan city, in 2004, the basic materials about the crime frequency are analyzed through dividing the types on the base of the present state of crime occurrence, the types of crime, the locations of crime occurrence, the purposes of buildings, the types of intruders, the forms of intrusions. As a result of research. it is suggested that the activation method of community police activities is necessary for the prevention of community crime prevention.

본 논문에서는 딥웹 환경에서 사이버 범죄 활동에 대한 정보를 중심으로 분석한다. 분석된 정보는 사이버 수사기관에 범죄 분석을 위한 보조정보로 활용될 수 있도록 지원하는 것과 청소년들의 사이버 범죄에 대한 위중성 및 범법성을 인지시키기 위한 교육을 목적으로 활용될 수 있도록 연구되었다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 크롤링, 파싱, 시각화 3가지 과정을 기반으로 딥웹 환경에서 활동하고 있는 정보를 키워드를 중심으로 수집하고 분석하는 솔루션 환경을 구현하였다. 분석된 정보는 사이버에서 일어나는 많은 범죄활동 가운데 가장 일어나기 쉬운 범죄 유형과 주의 깊게 수사가 이루어져야 할 범죄들을 정리하며, 수사의 방향성을 캐치 할 수 있도록 지원하는 기능을 포함한다.
