본 연구는 대한민국의 나날이 증가하는 범죄에 대한 문제의식을 바탕으로 주요 강력범죄 중 여성을 대상으로 삼는 범죄의 심각성에 대하여 초점을 두고 있다. 특히 4대 강력범죄 중 살인, 강간의 경우 여성이 피해자가 되는 경우가 매우 높게 나타나고 있으며, 최근 데이트 폭력 및 몰카범죄 등이 심각한 사회문제가 되고 있는 실정이다. 이에 여성을 대상으로 하는 범죄의 경우 다양한 기술이 결합된 CPTED를 활용하여 사회적 안전 확보 및 효과적인 환경설계를 통한 범죄예방 방안에 대하여 연구하였다.

This paper discusses how the strategies for crime prevention are interrelated to sustainable urban development. The sustainable urban development for healthy and safe cities implies regulations or legal, lawful control to reduce fear of crime and prevent substantial threats to health and safety of individual persons as well as of the community. City planners attempt to apply to the strategies for crime prevention their perception of what the sustainable urban development should be with respect to urban environment. Many planners have studied on the possibility of reduction in fear of crime and actual crimes through environmental improvement. The results of their preliminary studies provide specific suggestions to reduce crimes and fear of crime by application of CPTED. This study proposes alternatives in policy necessary for CPTED, which is one of the strategies for crime prevention, to take its place as a useful strategy for making the urban societies safe and sustainable.

주민의 안전한 생활은 삶의 가장 기본적인 요건으로 범죄는 불안감이 가중되어 삶의 질을 저하시키는 주요 요인이라 할 수 있어 범죄예방을 위한 다양한 정책 중 환경설계를 통한 범죄예방(CPTED)의 필요성이 대두되고 있는 실정이다. 따라서, 지역사회 커뮤니티 형성, 범죄예방 정책 수행 및 각종 인프라 구축 등을 위한 범죄예방 도시디자인 가인드라인 수립이 필요한 것으로 판단된다.

This study is to find out empirically how the fear of crime is affected by the level of recognition of people. CPTED elements including natural surveillance, access control, utilization enhancement, territoriality securement, etc. Safety of residents could be considered and then increased when we plan, design, and operate a city. In Korea, CPTED is currently being applied to every town. However, it is not systemized and neither efficient, for there are no constraint provisions, and the foreign cases are not specifically customized to the current situation of the country. This study, therefore, aims to find the limits from analyzing related laws and regimes, administrative regulations, and applied cases, and to deduct improvement plans based on examined foreign cases.

For improving social safety, It is important to build Web DB of criminal prevention and open to the public. It could be help to mitigate social damage of crimes and accidents. In this study, the main goal is to analyze and apply the applicable contents from user demands studies and case studies for a domestic life safety Web DB. For this study 31 cases of international life safety Web DB were collected and analyzed. Customer participation style of Web service was reviewed. And demand survey for crime weakness group like students, and young women was examined. As a results people needed to know the un-safety area in their usual life and their ways; school to home, work to home. While creating the Web DB for domestic life safety, user content according to different economic status and publicity for Web DB proved to be important factors.

본 연구는 불특정 다수를 대상으로 한 범죄가 증가하면서 높아지고 있는 사회 불안을 해소하기 위해 서울시 10개 구를 선정하여 해당 구의 치안 강화를 위한 유용한 정보를 추출했다. 그리고 이를 데이터베이스화하여 다각적인 방면에서 분석하고 추가 대응 방안을 제시하였다. 서울지방경찰청의 2022년 치안 통계와 통계청의 2020년 사회조사 결과에 따르면 전체적으로 사회가 범죄에 대한 불안에 떨고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 안전서비스 설치와 범죄 발생 사이의 상관관계를 파악하고 범죄 발생에 미치는 요인들을 발견하여 추가적인 대응 방안을 설계한다면 우리 사회의 범죄 발생에 대한 불안을 해소할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

여성과 아동은 도보로 이동 시 성범죄, 아동대상 범죄 등에 쉽게 노출된다. 따라서 오늘날 여성, 아동 범죄를 예방하고 생활하는 지역의 범죄 안전도, 위험도를 알 수 있는 웹 서비스의 필요성이 요구된다. 이에 본 논문에서는 안전 길 찾기 경로 알고리즘과 안전지도 웹 서비스를 구축하여 사람들이 안전하게 이동하며 생활주변 위험에 스스로 관심을 가지고 대처할 수 있기를 바란다.

Rapid social and economic growth has brought positive results. At the same time, due to the increase in crime, crime prevention is important. There are many papers that analyze crime trends and crime type. Based on this, there are studies to ensure the safety of people. The study calculated the risk for the crime. it is necessary to exert a great effect on crime prevention alternatives. This paper uses crime data provided from San Francisco and victims data provided from FBI. And, it proposes the crime risk calculation. By analyzing the type of user, risk degree is given different weights according to the user, and assess the risk of crime.

Along with unification world market, marine transportation has become important for international community. At the same tome, piracy, armed robbery and maritime terrorism which threaten marine transport have been issued in international society. International organization like a IMO has continued to regulate maritime crimes by international law and regulation. Bearing in mind the in importance of the issue, this article analyze maritime crimes covering piracy, armed robbery and maritime terrorism about definition and legal character and pointed out problems. Finally it suggest methods to enhance international regulation on them.

This study aimed to explore the factors explaining the safety of disabled women in the convergence society and was surveyed 374 disabled women nationwide. This study examined the factors that explain the safety of disabled women from the accidents and crimes in terms of individual, familial, and community characteristics. Main findings are as follows: 1) the safety from accident was largely explained by the community type and social capital condition in characteristics of community domain. The material hardship in characteristics of familial domain and disability level in characteristics of individual domain explained the safety from accident also. 2) the safety from crime was largely explained by the material hardship in characteristics of familial domain. And the community type and social support condition in characteristics of community domain and the educational level in characteristics of individual domain explained the safety from crime. Based on the findings, we suggested practical and institutional implications to ensure the disabled women's safety.
