Time-distance Accessibility Computation of Seoul Bus System based on the T-card Transaction Big Databases (교통카드 빅데이터 기반의 서울 버스 교통망 시간거리 접근성 산출)

  • This study proposes the methodology for measuring the time-distance accessibility on the Seoul bus system based on the T-card transaction databases and analyzes the results. T-card transaction databases contain the time/space information of each passenger's locations and times of the departure, transfers, and destination. We introduce the bus network graph and develop the algorithms for time-distance accessibility measurement. We account the average speed based on each passenger's get-in and getoff information in the T-card data as well as the average transfer time from the trip chain transactions. Employing the modified Floyd APSP algorithm, the shortest time distance between each pair of bus stops has been accounted. The graph-theoretic nodal accessibility has been given by the sum of the inverse time distance to all other nodes on the network. The results and spatial patterns are analyzed. This study is the first attempt to measure the time-distance accessibility for such a large transport network as the Seoul bus system consists of 34,934 bus stops on the 600 bus routes, and each bus route can have different properties in terms of speed limit, number of lanes, and traffic signal systems, and thus has great significance in the accessibility measurement studies.

Efficient Exploration of On-chip Bus Architectures and Memory Allocation (온 칩 버스 구조와 메모리 할당에 대한 효율적인 설계 공간 탐색)

  • Separation between computation and communication in system design allows the system designer to explore the communication architecture independently of component selection and mapping. In this paper we present an iterative two-step exploration methodology for bus-based on-chip communication architecture and memory allocation, assuming that memory traces from the processing elements are given from the mapping stage. The proposed method uses a static performance estimation technique to reduce the large design space drastically and quickly, and applies a trace-driven simulation technique to the reduced set of design candidates for accurate Performance estimation. Since local memory traffics as well as shared memory traffics are involved in bus contention, memory allocation is considered as an important axis of the design space in our technique. The viability and efficiency of the proposed methodology arc validated by two real -life examples, 4-channel digital video recorder (DVR) and an equalizer for OFDM DVB-T receiver.

  • 디지털 트윈, 메타버스 등의 시대적 흐름에 대응하기 위해, 1)실사와 같은 실감성을 갖추고, 2)데이터 취득이 용이하며, 3)가벼운 데이터 저장 및 활용이 가능한 실내 공간 모델링의 필요성이 증대되고 있다. 본 기고에서는 상기 세 가지 조건을 만족하는 TeeVR이라는 기술에 대해 소개하고, 기술의 혁신을 가능하게 한 "구조 기반 접근법"에 대해 소개한다. 마지막으로 아파트에서 전시홀에 이르는 scalable한 적용 예시와 웹(web)이나 스마트 폰과 같은 제한된 환경에서도 사용자 만족도가 높은 다양한 응용 예시를 설명한다.

A Study on the Influence Factors of Land Value by Urban Spatial Constitution (역세권 공간구조특성이 지가에 미치는 영향요인분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to draw the development direction of subway adjacent area by distance through an analysis on influence factors of land value by urban spatial constitution. The method of this study is analyzing influence factors of land value by the distance of subway adjacent area by using regression analysis method with urban spatial constitution variables from advanced research and drew the difference and extent of land value influence factors by distance of subway adjacent area. The result of analyzed the influence factors of land value by distance to draw the purpose of this study, which is the direction of development by distance of subway adjacent area, the connected area has shown the development direction as high density development centrally on commercial and improvement of accessibility and decrepit status, the directly influence area shows as complexity with high density centrally on commercial and business and lastly, the in directly influence area has shown the development direction as complexity of residential and commercial, improvement of accessibility and decrepit status. This study has used land value as a dependent variable to verify the speculation of this study based on the contents, the results of the analyze and the critical points of precedent studies to draw the development direction of subway adjacent influence area by using autonomous variables from advanced research. Upon this, drew a conclusion of this study as analyze of influence factors of land value could be a reference material for development of subway adjacent area.

A Study on Impact of Topographic Characteristics and Land use and Transport Characteristics of Residential Area On the Average Trip Distance of the Senior Citizens: for Busan Metropolitan City (행정동별 주거지의 지형적 특성과 토지이용·교통특성이 고령자의 평균통행거리에 미치는 영향 분석 - 부산광역시를 대상으로 -)

  • This study aims to empirically analyze the impacts of the topographic characteristics of residential areas and the characteristics of land use and transportation on average trip distance of the senior citizens in Busan Metropolitan city. Multiple regression is conducted to accomplish the purpose of this study, and the conclusions and policy implications of the analysis are as follows. First, the average and standard deviation of the residential areas are significantly related to average trip distance of the senior citizens. Thus, urban transportation policies need to take account of the topographic characteristics of the residential areas. Second, average distance from the nearest subway station and density of bus stops have positive and negative association respectively. Mobility improvement polices for senior citizens should consider urban spatial structure and different approach processes to transportation facilities by modes. Third, mobility and residential environment improvement policies for senior citizens should take into account different sociodemographic characteristics by locations. This shows that the mobility convenience policy for senior citizens is more necessary than any other policy for administrative dong, where traffic access is relatively low and the single senior citizen population is concentrated.
