  • In this study, the 3D computational fluid dynamics (CFD) was performed in relation to the internal fluid characteristics, flow distribution, air mean ages, and residence time for the development of the most optimal model in the complex post-disposal device. As it is expected that a channeling (drift) would be made by the semi-dry reactor due to the large difference in the flow distribution by the compartment in the bag filter, a structural improvement should be urgently made for more uniformed flow distribution in the bag filter. In addition, it showed the possibility that the velocity field and distribution characteristics of the residence time could be improved through a modification to inlet structure of the spray dryer reactor. The complex post-disposal device, modified and supplemented with this analysis, integrated the semi-dry reactor and the bag filter in a single body, so it follows that the improvement can make the device compact, the installation area, the operation fee, and management more convenient.

Flow Characteristics with Inflow-Duct Types in the Reactor of an Integrated Adsorption/Catalysis Process with Bag Filters (연소 배출가스의 유입방식에 따른 백필터를 활용한 흡착/촉매 통합공정 시스템 반응기 내 유동특성)

  • An integrated adsorption/catalytic process has been considered to treat dioxin and $NO_x$ simultaneously. The process consists of a cyclone and a reactor with nine bag filters. In this study, numerical analysis has been performed to understand flow characteristics with inflow-duct types in the reactor. To consider flue gas and activated carbon particles simultaneously, Euler-Lagrangian model was employed. Fundamental flow patterns of flue gas and activated carbon particles, pressure distribution and distribution of activated carbon have been obtained from the numerical analysis. Also trace length and residence time of flue gas, residence time of activated carbon particles have been calculated directly. Flow patterns of flue gas and activated carbon particles in the reactor were very complicated and they moved along very various paths. Therefore, their residence time in the reactor was also various. The flow characteristics in the reactor were strongly influenced by inflow-duct types. The results obtained would be effectively used to estimate the removal efficiency in the reactor once the residence time is combined with the reaction equation.

Characteristics of Large-area PTFE Filter Coated with PTFE Nanofiber Fabricated by Roll-to-roll Equipment (Roll-to-roll 공정으로 제조한 나노섬유가 코팅된 대면적 PTFE 필터 특성)

  • The equipment for fabricating the large-area PTFE nanofiber coated-PTFE foam filter for use as filtration parts of the baghouse that removes particulate matter (PM) in industrial sites was designed and manufactured in this study. The PTFE nanofiber was coated on a commercial PTFE foam filter to increase its PM collection efficiency. The equipment and fabrication processes using a roll-to-roll system were proposed to continuously coat PTFE nanofibers on the surface of the PTFE foam filter. The electrospinning and annealing parts were designed and made by optimizing the equipment for the roll-to-roll system. The surface morphology, composition, and filtration characteristics of the large-area filter fabricated by this equipment were confirmed. PTFE nanofibers were uniformly coated on the large-area filter, and the PTFE nanofiber coated-PTFE foam filter showed PM2.5 collection efficiency of 91.79% and an appropriate pressure drop of 62 Pa with a face velocity of 1 m/min at 280 ℃.

  • 플라이백 컨버터에서 발생하는 EMI 공통모드 잡음은, 스위치 turn-off에서 1차 측 누설 인덕턴스로 인한 기생 진동과 turn-on에서 발생하는 2차 측 출력회로의 기생 진동으로 구성된다. 차동모드 잡음은 직류전원의 스위칭 전류로 인한 전압 강하 성분으로 나타나며 직류전원 임피이던스에 비례하여 증가한다. 1차 측 기생진동은 느린 속도의 일반 다이오드와 직렬저항 삽입으로, 2차 측기생진동은 정류 다이오드의 RC 스너버로 감소 시킨다. 누설 인덕턴스가 큰 UU코어 EMI 필터가 잡음 감소에 유효함을 보인다.

  • 육상수조식 양식장 수처리를 위한 순환여과 시스템으로서의 유연성 섬유사 필터 모듈의 적용성을 평가하기 위하여, 여과기의 운전주기에 따른 처리성능의 변화 추이 및 넙치사육조의 급이주기에 따른 여과성능의 변화를 검토한 결과, 유기물 농도의 경우 20~70%의 제거육을 보였으며, 탁도는 평균 50% 이상의 제거율을 보여주었다.

  • 차량 또는 실내에서 사용되는 대부분의 공기청정기는 미세먼지(PM 또는 PM)를 필터만 이용해서 정화하기 때문에 일정 시간 사용하게 되면 필터를 교체해야 하고, 필터를 청소한다고 해도 점점 성능이 저하되어 교체만 한다. 이러한 점이 개선된 플라즈마 공기청정기의 경우 필터 공기청정기에 비해 소비전력이 크다는 문제가 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존 플라이백 컨버터를 이용한 플라즈마 구동이 아닌 단일 스위치 무손실 인버터(국민대 보유기슬)와 펄스 전원(맥동 전압) 인가를 통한 플라즈마 구동 방식을 제안하고, 기존 DBD 플라즈마 방식이 아닌 자력을 이용한 DBD 플라즈마 리액터의 사용을 제안한다. 그리고 실제 실험 및 측정을 통해 제안 방식의 실효성을 검증하였다.

  • This paper presents the feasibility of incorporating ultrafine particles collected in the separator bag filter (separator bag filter cement, SBFC) during the cement manufacturing process as an substitution material for cement. SBFC does not require additional processes needed in the existing processes to manufacture high early strength cement such as modifying mineral components and adjusting the firing temperature. Moreover, it can also solve the issue of efficiency decrease resulted from the increase of the grinding time applied in the existing process of manufacturing microcement. Therefore, this research has examined the characteristics of SBFC and fresh properties and mechanical properties after making paste and mortar using SBFC in order to use SBFC as a material to gain early strength of concrete. For results, analyzing the chemical composition and physical properties of SBFC, its blaine value was $6,953cm^3/g$, about double than that of OPC, but its chemical composition showed no significant difference. According to the result of the paste and mortar examination, the paste and mortar mixed with SBFC showed a lower flowability, earlier setting time, and higher compressive strength than that with OPC. The result of microstructure analysis of paste, the paste mixed with SBFC indicated about 9% lower internal porosity at an early age than that of OPC. The compressive strength and flexural strength of mortar were higher in the order of SBFC ratio of 100, 50 and 0% SBFC.
