  • It is needed for one to design the better models estimating emission and then with the real time data, make the monitoring system simulating emission rate because of having built the basement of accepting real-time traffic information in ITS projects. The objective of the study is to develop the monitoring system visualizing air pollution to a certain place. It is based on the estimated emission from the patterns of individual vehicles and the changes of traffic flow. For constructing simulator, we loaded referring algorithm in actuality program and simulates the traffic flow movement in a microscopic viewpoint. The simulator is able to express not only the movement of each car but also to visualize processing the emission and diffusion of the air pollutant by computer program. Not only expresses the simulation process the angle of vision but it also cutting down environment expenses and improving the traffic impact assessment and the traffic impact assessment.

A Study on Effect of Recirculated Exhaust Gas upon Performance and Exhaust Emissions in a Power Plant Boiler with FGR System (FGR 시스템 동력 플랜트 보일러의 성능 및 배기 배출물에 미치는 재순환 배기의 영향에 관한 연구)

  • The effect of recirculated exhaust gas on performance and exhaust emissions with FGR rate are investigated by using a natural circulation, pressurized draft and water tube boiler with FGR system operating at several boiler loads and over fire air damper openings. The purpose of this study is to apply the FGR system to a power plant boiler for reducing $NO_x$ emissions. To activate the combustion, the OFA with 0 to 20% is supplied into the flame. When the suction damper of two stage combustion system installed in the upper side of wind box is opened by handling the lever between $0^{\circ}$ and $90^{\circ}$, also, the combustion air supplied to burner is changed. It is found that the fuel consumption rate per evaporation rate did not show an obvious tendency to increase or decrease with rising the FGR rate, and $NO_x$ emissions at the same OFA damper opening are decreased, as FGR rates are elevated and boiler loads are dropped. While a trace amount of soot is emitted without regard to the operation conditions of boiler load, OFA damper opening and FGR rate, because soot emissions are eliminated by the electrostatic precipitator with a collecting efficiency of 86.7%.

크라이오펌프 성능평가 장치 운전특성

  • 국내에서 크라이오펌프 개발이 한창 진행되고 있다. 냉동기는 GM 타입이 아니고, 맥동관 형식을 채택하여 기존 상용제품과 차별화 하고 있다. 목표성능은 질소기준 배기속도가 3,600 L/s이고 다른 성능들은 기존의 상용 펌프와 유사하며 내부 구조에 상관없이 외형적으로 비슷한 제원을 가지도록 개발되고 있다. 시제품의 성능을 국제규격에 맞추어서 평가하기 위해 성능평가 장치를 구성하고 시운전 중에 있다. 평가장치는 double dome과 single dome을 모두 갖추었으며 주 배기펌프는 측정 대상 크라이오펌프가 맡고, 보조 배기펌프는 양 시스템 모두 소형 TMP를 사용하고 있다. 크라이오 펌프를 10-10 mbar 대에서부터 성능을 측정하기 위해 평가장치는 10-11 mbar 대에서 운전하도록 목표가 살정되었다. 거의 크라이오 펌프만으로 이런 목표를 달성하기 위해 어던 과정을 거쳤는지 소개하고 이 장치를 사용하여 1,500 L/s 급, 8인치 상용 크라이오 펌프를 달아 배기속도를 측정한 결과와 제시된 값을 비교했다.

Preliminary Experimental Study for Water Recovery and Particulate Matter Reduction through a Hybrid System that Combines Exhaust Cooling and Absorption from Ships (선박배출 배기냉각과 흡수식이 결합된 하이브리드 시스템을 통한 물 회수 및 미세먼지 저감을 위한 기초실험연구)

  • The exhaust gas from the marine engines include a quantity of water vapor and particulate matter. The total particulate matter includes filterable particulate matter (FPM) and condensable particulate matter (CPM) that condense after releasing into the atmosphere. The portion of CPM is higher than that of FPM that is removable through the filter before discharging. An experimental setup for waste heat and water recovery and removal of CPM in the exhaust gas was tested using an industrial gas boiler in the laboratory. The water and CPM in the exhaust gas were removed through the first stage of cooling method and further removed through the second stage of absorption method. The efficiencies of water recovery were 73% after the first stage of cooling method and 90% after the second stage of absorption method. At the same time, the CPM was removed by 80-90% through the processes. The waste heat recovered could be used to process heat, and the water recovered could be used to process water in the ship. Furthermore, the CPM, which is a major source of the particulate matter but not subject to administrative regulation, could be removed effectively.

  • 구연산 전처리 후 진공 중 산화처리를 한 스테인레스강 진공용기에 비증발성 게터(NEG)와 스퍼터 이온펌프의 조합을 사용하여 낮은 10의 -12 mbar의 극고진공에 도달하였다. 실험에 사용된 진공용기의 기체방출률은 기존의 일반 스테인레스강 진공용기에 비해 15배 이상 낮은 것으로 측정되었다. 극고진공에 도달하기 위해 수소에 대한 배기속도가 높은 NEG 펌프를 주 펌프로 사용하였으며 스퍼터 이온펌프는 NEG가 배기하지 못하는 무극성 또는 불활성 기체를 배기하는 보조펌프로 작용하도록 하였다.

  • This paper is to analyze and study the fire examples in respect of intake and exhaust, alternator tuning and inflow of inflammables on exhaust part in a car. In the first example, the driver diverted the intake and exhaust system for tuning of a car. Stopping a car to rest for moment, the flammable styrofoam scrap go into exhaust pipe that installed with exhaust manifold newly. It certified the fact that catched fire gradually, furthermore enlarged the fire by leaking fuel. In the second example, the driver enlarged the generator performance to divert the audio system in side room., it knew the fact that the electric wiring connected with generator gave the cause of outbreak a fire by overheating. In the third example, the serviceman replaced the engine oil using funnel-shaped, he put the a bottle of plastic pat onto engine cover carelessly. Consequentially, it found the fire occurrence in the engine room. Therefore, the driver never divert the intake and exhaust and generator construction of a car abnormally. Also, repairing and inspecting a car, the serviceman have a care to not occur the fire by inflammables.

The Variation of Air Temperature and Humidity of Rock Bed Storage for Solar-Heated Greenhouse in Summer Season (여름철 자갈축열 태양열 온실의 축열층 온.습도 변화)

  • 자갈축열 태양열 온실에 있어 여름철 냉방에너지의 효과적인 절감 방안을 모색하고자 축열 및 배기시스템의 작동방식을 다르게 하여 주ㆍ야간 축열과 방열시 자갈축열층의 온습도환경을 분석한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 주간에 외기온이 28.5$^{\circ}C$-35.3$^{\circ}C$범위에서 변화할 때 자갈축열층내로 유입되는 공기의 온도는 30.5$^{\circ}C$-36.2$^{\circ}C$, 자갈축열층에서 온실내부로 유출되는 공기의 온도는 28.2$^{\circ}C$-30.1$^{\circ}C$, 축열층 내부온도는 27.4$^{\circ}C$-35.9$^{\circ}C$ 범위였다. 또한, 10시간 축열시 자갈축열층 내부온도는 측점에 따라 1.7$^{\circ}C$-7.$0^{\circ}C$의 온도상승이 있었으며 유입구에서 멀어질수록 축열층 온도는 낮게 나타났으며 온도상승 속도 또한 감소하는 경향으로 나타났다. 그리고, 야간에 축열시스템을 작동하지 않고 배기팬만을 작동하였을 경우, 외기온이 27.4$^{\circ}C$-34.4$^{\circ}C$범위일 때 자갈축열층 내부온도는 29.7$^{\circ}C$-34.9$^{\circ}C$(평균 31.4$^{\circ}C$)범위였으며 온실외부에 설치되어 있는 배기구와 배기팬의 영향으로 축열층 내부온도는 시간이 경과함에 따라 감소하는 경향으로 나타났으며 측점에 따라 2.2$^{\circ}C$-5.1$^{\circ}C$(평균 2.8$^{\circ}C$)의 온도하강 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 2. 여름철 주간에 10시간 축열시 자갈축열층 내부습도는 측점에 따라 8.1%-26.3%의 감소현상이 있었다. 또한, 유입구에서 멀어질수록 축열층 습도는 높게 나타났으며 습도하강속도 또한 감소하는 경향으로 나타나 유입구에서 멀어질수록 외부습도의 영향을 적게 받는 것으로 분석되었다. 하지만, 야간에는 배기시스템의 영향으로 자갈축열층의 습도는 외기의 영향을 많이 받는 것으로 나타났다.

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the applicability of hybrid ventilation system in apartment housings and present a design method to improve the performance of hybrid ventilation system using the CFD simulation. As the object of CFD simulation, a small apartment houses with area of $51m^2$ and $81m^2$ were selected and evaluated. The test hybrid ventilation system are window frame natural air supply & duct exhaust hybrid system(Hybrid 1) and window frame natural air supply & bathroom and livingroom exhaust hybrid ventilation system(Hybrid 2). To evaluate the ventilation efficiency, we used the locations of diffuser installed for each system as the variables through the CFD simulation. In the case of Hybrid 1, the ventilation efficiency of the exhaust duct diffuser located on the inside room was higher rather than the exhaust duct diffuser located on the entrance. In the case of Hybrid 2, the most efficient system was the system that the diffuser connecting the bathroom static pressure fan is installed on the center of the living room. The ventilation efficiency of the Hybrid 2 in the case of $51m^2$ type was more than 20% of the Hybrid 1. But, The ventilation efficiency of the Hybrid 2 in the case of $84m^2$ type was more than 14% of the Hybrid 1. Therefore, to apply the Hybrid ventilation, a study that considers various variable should be conducted.

  • 가솔린 엔진용 전자 제어 에뮬레이션 시스템은 엔진의 운전 상태를 알려 주는 각종 센서로 감지한 정보를 A/D변환기를 통해 마이크로프로세서에 입력시키고, 이 정보를 이용하여 운전 상태를 분석한 후 엔진이 푤요로 하는 연료량, 점화시기, 배기가스의 재순환량, 공회전수 등을 전자적으로 제어하여 엔진의 최적제어를 실현시킴으로서 연료소비율 및 배기가스 중 공해물질 함량을 감소시키기 위한 장치이다.

  • In this paper, a simplified vibration analysis model for bellows was presented to avoid excessive effort required for shell model. To reduce degree of freedom, bellows was modelled using one dimensional beam element. The equivalent mass and stiffness matrices were obtained based upon Guyan reduction process. The results were compared with the confirmed results, which were in good agreement.
