현재 다운방한 용도에 사용되는 직물 트랜드는 경량화 및 박지화 추세에 있으며, 국내외 유명 브랜드에서 사용되는 스포츠웨어 직물소재의 대부분이 이러한 제품으로 판매가 이루어지고 있다. 현재, 국내외 다운방한용에 사용되는 원단은 겉감이외에 다운 세기방지용 안감직물을 사용하여 다운이 빠져나오지 않도록 하고 있음. 그러나, 최근 겉감으로 사용하여 다운이 세지 않고 매우 가벼우면서 Packable 원단개발이 요구되고 있을 뿐만 아니라, 다운방한직물에 요구되는 성능에 만족하거나 성능이 향상된 고기능 원단개발이 요구되고 있다. 이러한 다운방한용 직물은 다운의 내구성 및 지속성 측면에서 매우 많은 기능이 요구되고 있으며 현재 국내에서 사용하고 있는 다운방한용 직물은 다운커버직물을 사용하거나 코팅에 의해 다운세기 방지기능을 강제로 발현시키고 있다. 그러나 그 직물은 경량화 되어가고 있기 때문에 다운커버 직물을 사용하지 않으면서부터 다운이 세는 문제점, 그리고 공기투과 및 투습이 제대로 되지 못하는 기능성의 문제점, 경량화와 더불어 인열강력이 약하여 잘 찢어지는 문제점, 인열강력의 물리적 특성을 높이고자 코팅을 하게되면 기능성 및 감성이 더욱 나빠지는 문제점이 나타나게 되어 다운 방한용 직물은 큰 문제점이 되고 있다. 이에 겉감만으로도 다운방한용도에 적합한 고감성 및 기능성을 가진 경량직물 개발을 위해 고밀도 제직 및 설계 기술, 최종 염색가공 및 후가공 공정까지의 공정내(內) 간(間)연계기술을 연구하였다.

Ice accretions on the ship equipment and areas are the most common issues for vessels operating in cold climate and ice-covered waters and it has effect on the vessel safety and operability of equipment and systems, thus ship machineries and structures exposed to low temperature environments should satisfy the winterization requirements specified in ice class rules. The main objective of this study is to review the state-of-the-art of winterization trend for vessels navigating in ice-covered waters. The hazard of icing and how ice accretions affect operations and safety are investigated firstly, and then winterized notations for each classification are summarized. In addition, winterization methods currently used in vessels operating in ice-covered waters are investigated for a better understanding of effective approach and its application. This information will provide a framework for future winterization issues to mitigate the ice accretion phenomena.

Unlike previous studies, which mainly analyzed factors affecting tourism motivation and tourism satisfaction, this study analyzes the political, economic and cultural factors affecting the number of Chinese tourists visiting Korea. Empirical results show that political factors such as the Chinese regime, the number of meetings and talks between Korea and China, the number of phone calls between the two countries, and the Korea-China FTA (also as a economic factor) have a significant impact on the number of Chinese tourists visiting Korea. In particular, political friendly variables related to economy (ex. Korea-China FTA) has been analyzed to have a more significant positive effect on the number of Chinese tourists to Korea than the factors that create friendly atmosphere only in the political field. In addition to political factors, economic factors such as the Korea-China FTA, and cultural factors such as Korean Wave represented by Korean cosmetics also have a significant impact on the number of Chinese tourists visiting Korea.

As part of the research on cultural factors that determine international tourism demand, this study was conducted based on regional interest and the need for understanding religion. The purpose of this study is to empirically test how religious factors affect tourism demand in Korea to find out that religious factors are important considerations in establishing tourism policies and strategies. To achieve the purpose of this study, the research target areas were selected as Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines, which have relatively many tourists visiting Korea among Southeast Asian countries and are well known for their religious characteristics. GDP and nominal exchange rate, which are economic factors, were selected as explanatory variables. And religious diversity was selected as a characteristic factor variable of the tourism demand model based on the characteristic theory. An empirical analysis was conducted through a gravity model. As a result of the estimation, it was found that GDP has a positive effect on tourism demand in Korea. Nominal exchange rate variables and religious diversity variables were found to have a negative effect on tourism demand in Korea. We have confirmed that religion is an important factor in choosing tourist destinations for Filipino, Thai, and Malaysian tourists visiting Korea, and they choose religiously similar destinations.

독일의 첨단 광학산업의 현재와 한국의 광전자 기술동향을 교류하는 자리인 한 독 광학기술 심포지엄이 지난해 11월 9일 독일 튀링엔주 주최, 한독상공회의소 주관, 한국광학기기협회 후원으로 서울 밀레니엄 힐튼 호텔 그랜드 볼룸에서 열렸다. 이에 한국과 독일의 광학기술, 레이저 기술, LED 조명기술, 나노계측 기술 등의 주제 발표가 펼쳐졌다. 아울러 방한한 독일기업들과 한국기업들 간의 기업 상담회도 진행되었다.

극해 지역은 채굴가능 매장량의 30% 정도의 각종 천연자원이 매장되어 있으며 기후변화로 인해 북극해 항로를 이용한 운항 및 자원의 수송과 저장을 위해 빙해 선박과 극지용 해양구조물의 수요가 증가하고 있다. 이 연구에서는 아이스 클라스 등 방한기술에 근거하여 빙해 선박에 탑재되는 루버의 기술개발 동향에 대해 고찰 하였다.
