디지털 방송의 시작과 함께, 지상파, 위성, 케이블과 같은 다양한 매체를 통한 다채널 방송 시청 환경의 도래는 사용자에게 많은 방송 프로그램 시청 정보를 전달하게 되었다. 이와 더불어, 방송 단말에 전송된 다양한 방송 프로그램 정보를 탐색하고 선호 방송 프로그램을 선별하기 위해서는 사용자에게 많은 노력이 요구된다. 이러한 요구에 따라, 똔 논문에서는 다채널 방송 시청 환경 하에서 사용자의 방송 프로그램 시청 히스토리를 분석하고, 특정 시간에 따른 사용자의 방송 프로그램 시청 패턴을 추출하여 방송 프로그램 장르에 대한 사용자 선호도를 자동으로 계산하는 알고리즘을 제안하고, MPEG-7 MDS 구조에 따른 사용자 선호도 서술과 사용자의 선호도에 따라 방송 프로그램을 자동적으로 추천하는 TV 프로그램 추천 어플리케이션을 소개한다 본 실험을 위해 실제 연령대별, 성별, 시간대별로 사용자의 TV 시청 자료를 사용하였으며, 실험결과를 통해 본 논문에 제안된 베이시안 네트워크 기반 사용자 자동 학습 알고리즘이 효과적으로 사용자 선호도를 학습할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

지상파 UHD 방송은 2017년 세계 최초로 본방송이 시작되었고 2018년 평창 올림픽과 러시아 월드컵을 지상파 UHD 방송으로 중계하면서 성장해 왔다. 그런데 최근 급변하는 미디어 기술과 코로나 19 팬데믹 이후 미디어 시장이 요동치며 미디어 이용 플랫폼과 콘텐츠 그리고 미디어 이용 기기별 사용 시간에도 많은 변화가 생기고 있다. 이에 따라 지난 2017년 본 방송 이후 지상파 UHD 방송에 대한 시청자들의 이용 실태 및 인식 변화에 대한 조사의 필요성이 대두하게 됐다. UHD KOREA와 KBS 공영미디어 연구소는 UHD 방송에 대한 인지도와 시청의향, TV 크기의 변화, TV와 인터넷 연결 여부 등 미디어 환경변화에 따른 시청자의 미디어 이용 형태를 공동으로 조사했다. 그리고 지상파 UHD 방송의 추가 서비스의 선호도와 선호 콘텐츠, OTT 이용 여부 등에 대하여도 분석했다. 지상파 UHD 방송은 고화질, 다채널, 모바일, 재난방송, 양방향 서비스 등 ATSC 3.0 기술을 기반으로 다양한 최신 서비스를 제공하는 것이 가능하다. 이러한 조사 결과는 향후 지상파 UHD 방송 및 미디어 정책의 수립과 추진의 기초 자료로 활용될 것이다.

차종 별 교통량 자료는 도로의 유지관리나 분석 등의 행정 처리 업무에 필요한 기본 자료임과 동시에 각종 연구에 활용된다. 본 시스템은 그 일환으로서 화물차나 일반차량을 구분하여 특정 도로의 화물차 비율이나 교통량을 파악하는데 활용할 수 있다. 머신 러닝 알고리즘 중에서 높은 성능을 보이는 Support Vector Machine (SVM) 알고리즘을 이용하여 도로 위의 일반차량과 화물차를 구분하였다. 우선, 화물차와 일반차량의 차이를 구분하고자 각각의 영상에 대해 Histogram of Oriented Gradients (HOG) 기반 특징점을 추출하고 이에 따라 1 차원 벡터로 표현된 데이터를 SVM 으로 분류하여 구분한다.

최근 에너지 절감 방안이 크게 대두하면서 절전형 광원으로 평가받는 LED 조명에 대한 관심이 급증하고 있다. 특히 광원의 높은 효율성과 긴 수명, 소형 박형화로 조명기구의 슬림화를 실현할 수 있는 장점이 있어 방송제작 현장에서도 미래의 광원으로 기대되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 CIE의 기준에 따른 측광 방법으로 방송용 LED 조명의 기본적인 광원특성을 용도별, 조명 기구별로 측정하였다. 이를 바탕으로 기존 방송조명과의 분광분포 특성 및 연색성 등에 대한 비교 분석으로 LED 조명의 활용을 위한 기초자료를 확보하는 한편 그림자 투영 실험과 색 재현성 실험을 하였다. 이로써 LED의 새로운 광원에 의한 TV 조명이 방송영상에 미치는 영향과 그에 대한 개선점을 찾아보고자 한다.

본 논문에서는 M/W 방송중계용 주파수 공유방안에 관한 기초연구로써 디지털 방송중계용 STL/TTL 링크 무선전송 시스템을 모델링하고 다중경로 페이딩 채널 환경에서 시스템 특성 및 성능 분석이 가능한 M/W대 디지털 방송중계용 STL/TTL 링크 무선전송 시스템 시뮬레이터를 GUI 환경으로 구현하였다. 국내 방송 중계용의 경우 디지털화 진행이 추진되고 있는바, 본 연구에서 구현한 디지털 STL/TTL 링크 무선전송 시스템 시뮬레이터를 이용하여 향후 M/W 대역 방송중계용 주파수 재배치를 위한 채널 성능 및 간섭평가를 수행함으로써 국내 방송중계용 표준화에 기초 자료로 활용하고자 한다.

디지털 방송 환경의 발전은 방송 서비스 제공자가 방송 프로그램을 사용자에게 단방향으로 서비스를 제공하는 것뿐만 아니라 방송 서비스 제공자와 사용자 사이에 양방향의 액션을 통한 서비스 제공으로 형태가 변화하고 있다. 이러한 방송 서비스를 위한 규격을 만드는 국제표준화단체인 TV-Anytime 포럼에서는 차세대 디지털 방송용 메타데이터 국제 표준을 만드는 작업을 진행하고 있다. TV-Anytime 메타데이터를 실제의 응용에 적용하기 위해서는 대용량의 메타데이터를 저장하고 관리하는 것이 필수적인 요구 사항이다. 이에 TV-Anytime 메타데이터를 실제 디지털 방송 환경에서 효율적으로 관리할 수 있도록 메타데이터 저장 엔진을 설계 및 구연한다 또한 다른 시스템과의 시험을 통해 TV-Anytime 메타데이터 이외에도 XML 문서를 저장하고 관리하기 위한 다른 응용에서도 저장방법의 기준으로 상을 수 있는 자료가 될 것으로 기대된다.

Visual industry can contribute to this national industry is a high-value industry. Nevertheless, video resources expansion strategy at national level is lacking. There have been several institutions and organization conducting film archiving and related activities in Korea. Korean Film Archive(KOFA) is the only institution whose status is protected by the law. The purpose of this study was to suggest the strategic plan which is able to support the video industry and academic research. For methods to strengthen video resources, role adjustment of KOFA conducting film archiving and unification or integration of collection system for archiving broadcast materials were proposed.

This study was performed by targeting nurses majoring in nursing science of Korea National Open University in order to examine the level of their class satisfaction, academic self-efficacy and self-directed learning ability and to identify their effects on self-directed learning ability. Data was collected by targeting 231 nurses majoring in nursing science of Korea National Open University and for data analysis, technical statistics, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis were performed through statistical analysis program. This study revealed that there was significant correlation among the levels of participants' class satisfaction, self-directed learning ability and academic self-efficacy and it was identified that class satisfaction and self-directed learning ability affected academic self-efficacy. The findings of this study could be utilized as base data when developing a program to enhance nursing student's self-directed learning ability and it is suggested that an interventional research of analyzing validity and effectiveness of developed education program would be also required.

In recent years, many users preferred video records, and as the broadcasting video data becomes necessary, the demand for video records' use has increased. However, most broadcasters' archive agencies currently provide archive services only for internal employees, and for the general public. In this study, the web-based online information services provided to the general public in the archive sites of domestic and foreign public broadcasting companies were examined and analyzed. The evaluation criteria for the web-based records information services were identified in three service areas: online accessibility, search and online browsing, and outreach or expansion services. The overseas public broadcasters' web-based services and the public broadcasting companies' current status were examined for each area. Based on the examination, direction improvements, such as providing online search and records, developing various outreach services, and expanding user levels were proposed for the information services on broadcasting video data in public broadcasting companies for the general public.
