국내 인터넷 쇼핑몰에서의 price behavior에 관한 연구

  • 본 연구의 목적은 기존의 실물 시장과 새롭게 나타난 인터넷 시장에서의 시장 작동 원리에 어떠한 차이점이 존재하는가를 연구하는 것이다. 특히 인터넷에 대한 기존의 낙관적 연구들에서 제시되고 있는 것처럼 과연 인터넷에서 효율적인 가격 설정이 이루어지고 있는지를 국내 쇼핑몰에서의 Price Behavior 를 기존 실물 마켓의 경우와 비교, 고찰함으로써 밝혀보았다. 즉, 분석하고자 하는 대상을 물리적 상거래 업체와 인터넷 상거래 소매업체로 분류하였고 연구 초점이 되는 상품으로 현재 물리적 시장과 인터넷 시장 양쪽에서 거래가 진행되고 있는 음반과 노트북을 선정하여 물리적 업체와 인터넷 업체간의 가격 수준과 price dispersion 정도를 비교하였다. 또한 인터넷에서 소비자들이 쇼핑몰을 선택할 때 가격을 주요 변수로 고려하는 지를 알아보기 위해 쇼핑몰 방문자수와 가격간의 상관관계를 분석하였다. 연구결과, 국내 인터넷시장에서는 아직까지 효율적 가격설정하에 운영되고 있지 않았으며 가격 요소 이외의 동인에 의해 시장이 움직임을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 현재 국내 전자상거래 시장에 잘못된 가정과 거품이 존재함을 밝혀내었다.

Evaluation of University Library Efficiency Using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA를 적용한 대학도서관의 효율성 평가)

  • DEA(Data Envelopment Analysis) is useful to measure the relative efficiency of organizational units where the presence of multiple inputs and outputs. This study applied DEA-CCR and DEA-BCC to evaluate the technical, pure technical, and scale efficiency of 29 university libraries. The input variables were number of books, print edition expenses, building space, staff, number of seats. As output variables we estimated: reader visits, number of borrowed items, number of visitors. It was found out that number of libraries with 100% relative efficiency among 29 libraries were 13. Also the results shows that main reason of inefficiency was from scale rather than from pure technical. Many inefficient libraries were operations of increasing return to scale.

  • 인공지능 기계학습에 의한 한문고전 자동번역기는 승정원일기 뿐만 아니라, 한국 고문헌 중 천문 기록에 특화되어 한자로 된 천문 고전을 한글로 번역해 서비스하고 있다. 한국천문연구원은 한국지능정보사회진흥원이 주관하는 2019년도 Information and Communication Technology 기반 공공서비스 촉진사업에 한국고전번역원과 공동 참여하여 이 자동 번역기 개발을 완료한 것이다. 이 번역기의 개발 목적은 초벌 번역 수준일지라도 문장 형태의 한문을 한글로 자동 번역하는 것이며, 이 연구는 현재 번역기 운용 현황을 서비스 별로 분석하고자 한다. 자동 번역관련 서비스는 크게 3가지이다. 첫째, 누구나 웹 접속을 통해 사용 가능한 한문고전 자동번역 대국민 서비스이다. 1년간 자체 시험을 거쳐 2021년 1월 12일 시험판을 오픈하여 운용 중에 있다. 둘째, 기관별로 구축된 코퍼스와 도메인 특화된 번역 모델 등을 관리할 수 있는 한문고전 자동번역 확산 플랫폼 서비스이다. 대국민 서비스와 함께 클라우드 기반으로 서비스되며, 한국고전번역원이 관리를 담당한다. 셋째, 자동번역 Applied Programmable Interface를 활용한 한국천문연구원 내 자체 활용이 가능한 천문고전 자동번역 서비스이다. 서비스 현황 분석은 기관별 관리 서비스에 해당되는 한문고전 자동번역 확산 플랫폼에서 집계하여 제공하는 대시보드의 통계 기능을 활용한다. 각 서비스별 문장과 파일 번역 이용 건수, 번역 속도, 평균 자수 뿐만 아니라, 번역 모델 프로필에 따른 이용률 분석이 가능하다. 이에 따른 주요 분석 중 하나인 올해 전체 번역 이용 건수는 한 해 각 기관의 평균 방문자수 대비 87% 성과 목표에 해당되는 약 38만 건에 근접할 것으로 예측된다. 이 자동 번역기는 원문 해독 시간을 단축시키는 효과와 함께 미번역 천문 고문헌의 활용성을 높여 다양한 연구에 기여할 것이다.

  • One of celebrities using Social media caught public's eye and interest in Korea. Thereby the number of the user has grown rapidly and by last year it had reached to about 770 million. But at the same time, it has brought us social issues such as invasion of privacy, spreading of malicious code, and stealing of ID. To solve these problems, first the government need to establish adequate law and policy. Second, Service provider should remove vulnerability in the security system and filter illegal information. Third, individual user should put more effort to protect their own privacy. This paper will suggest a solution of using the Social media more sound and secure.

An Empirical Study on the Marketing Performance of e-Trade using Search Engine Optimization (검색엔진 최적화(SEO) 기법을 활용한 전자무역 마케팅 성과에 관한 실증연구)

  • Recently marketing methods of small and medium exporting firms have changed from internet marketing using homepage, or e-catalogs, to search engine marketing. However, there is no specific proof of search engine marketing effectiveness. Therefore the purpose of this research is to explore marketing performance of search engine marketing(SEM) based on search engine optimization. In order to build an optimal SEM strategy, quantitative data are collected from the Google-analytics such as homepage visits, page views, and traffic source for three years. At the same time, this study has carried out a survey to measure the qualitative effectiveness. The result of this quantitative study suggests that the existing carryover effects and lag effects would be maintained through search engine optimization. Meanwhile, the qualitative survey shows that satisfaction and awareness of homepage have been improved after search engine optimization. This can support logically increase of homepage visiting ratio of quantitative analysis. Also exporting companies know very well, that traffic and page views have increased after search engine optimization.

Relationship with the Phenology of Cherry Blossoms and Associated Festival : Case of Changwon Jinhae Gunhangje (벚나무의 계절현상과 이를 이용한 지역축제와의 관계 - 창원시 진해 군항제 사례 -)

  • Festivals using plant phenology is one of the examples can represent the ecosystem services. Changwon Jinhae Gunhangje is typical spring festival using cherry blossoms phenology. This research was done to define relationship between flowering of cherry blossoms and Gunhangje. Phenological data (Julian day) of cherry blossoms and visitor number of Gunhangje from 1987 to 2013 were collected. Differences of Phenological phase of cherry blossoms and duration of Gunhangje was analyzed. Trend analysis was performed to know changes of flowering and budding day of cherry blossoms. Correlations between visitor number of Gunhangje and environmental factors was defined by factor analysis and regression analysis. Results are showed that during the 26 years, periodicity of flowering and budding day was not identified or even identified it was not significant. Environmental factors effect on visitor numbers of Gunhangje were defined as temperature factor, day factor, and precipitation factor. Temperature factor was significantly correlated with visitor numbers of Gunhangje. Though Flowering day of cherry blossoms and festival duration was not matched, however, difference of visitor numbers was not showed. These results suggest that fixed duration of Gunhangje would be more effective to visitors than changing the festival duration following the phenological day changes of cherry blossoms.

  • This study was to investigate the elasticity in tourism demand of Chinese tourists visiting Malaysia through ARDL models by using Chinese tourists arrivals, GDP, CPI, transportation costs and others. When China was implementing an open-door policy with foreign countries in the early 15th century, the movement of Chinese was very limited, and then communication between China and other countries was very weak. However, the Chinese government persistently and entirely implemented an open-door policy by participating in the World Trade Organization(WTO) in 2001. The Chinese government has opened the economy through foreign direct investment by providing various incentives for foreign investment. As a result, inbound and outbound Chinese movements increased in the early 21st century. China was one of the top five most visited tourist destinations in the world by 2016, and also Chinese tourists traveling abroad increased, so they made Malaysia a popular tourists destination because of increase sharply to around 1.41 million. This study examined the significance of major economic factors affecting the increase in Chinese tourists arriving in Malaysia. Other factors that induced their arrival included income, tourism prices, transportation costs and promotional activities. Short-run shocks from the Asian economic crisis and the outbreak of SARS were included to understand how tourism demand in Malaysia was affected. Finally this study found that the combination of the ARDL and the Error Correction Model were useful to statistically estimate the elasticities of tourism demand.

Geographic information system (GIS) analysis on the distribution of patients visiting at a dental college hospital: a pilot study (Geographic information system (GIS) 이용한 대학치과병원에 내원하는 환자들의 공간적 분포의 분석)

  • Purpose: The aims of this study are to analyze and to visualize distribution of patients visiting at a dental college hospital, using geographic information system (GIS). The visualized data can be utilized in patient care and treatment planning, ultimately leading to the assessment of risk evaluation and prevention of dental diseases. Materials and Methods: Patient information data was obtained from Dankook University Dental Hospital including the unit number, gender, date of birth, and address from 2007 to 2014. Patient distribution was visualized using GIS. Statistical analyses were performed using SAS 9.3 and ArcGIS 10.1. Five factors including proximity, accessibility, age, gender, and socioeconomic status were investigated as the explanatory variables of the patient distribution. Results: The visualized patient data showed a nationwide scale of the patient distribution. There was a little difference in characteristics for each department. As closer at Dankook University Dental Hospital, visitors increased. And it strongly showed that elderly patients in rural areas tend to visit more. Conclusion: The distribution of patients has been shown to be significantly affected by the proximity, accessibility, age, gender and socioeconomic status. The underlying reason remains to be further studied.

A Study on the Relationship between Library budget and Library Usage (도서관 예산과 도서관 이용과의 관계에 관한 연구 - 부산지역 공공도서관을 중심으로 -)

  • The purpose of this paper is to explain the necessity of secure budget in public libraries with regard to promoting library usage. It is namely to attempt to find out if there really is a connection between library funding and library usage. For this purpose, the relevant data of all the 31 public libraries in Busan were collected from the 2013 National library Statistics of Korea. To determine the connection between library funding and usage, two variables were selected, 'TFI (Total Funding Indicator) = $\sqrt{personnelcosts{\times}materialcosts}$' for independent variable and 'LU (Library Usage) = (visits per year) + (loans per year)/number of inhabitants' for dependent variable. The results showed that there is a clear relationship between TFI and LU and If more cost is spent on personal resources and material resources, the total usage of the public library also increase. The findings are limited due to the fact that the observation was focusing on public libraries in one community and the period of observation was one year in 2013.

Location Factors Determining Hair-style Service Sales (미용서비스업체의 입지요인과 경영성과에 관한 실증연구)

  • This paper aims to examine the location factors affecting small service business performance, especially hair-style service business sales which are assumed to be dependent on outskirts' residents. In contrast to the prior research, this study measures sales amount as business success factors rather than business man's satisfaction level or customers' royalty. The empirical results show that hair-style service business can be determined by visibility and access level of its shop. In addition, its sales can be influenced by hairstyling chair, but its sales per a designer can impacted by hairstyling chair. This study also presents additional examinations about several independent factors which can have influence on hair-style business performance and several location traits that can have an significant influence on its sales volume.
