This paper dealt with how realization of pauses in utterance is affected by speech style, gender, and generation. For this purpose, we analyzed the frequency and duration of pauses. Pauses were categorized into four types: pause with breath, pause with no breath, utterance medial pause, and utterance final pause. Forty-eight subjects living in Seoul were chosen from the Korean Standard Speech Database. All subjects engaged in reading and spontaneous speech, through which we could also compare the realization between the two speech styles. The results showed that utterance final pauses had longer durations than utterance medial pauses. It means that utterance final pause has a function that signals the end of an utterance to the audience. For difference between tasks, spontaneous speech had longer and more frequent pauses because of cognitive reasons. With regard to gender variables, women produced shorter and less frequent pauses. For male speakers, the duration of pauses with breath was significantly longer. Finally, for generation variable, older speakers produced more frequent pauses. In addition, the results showed several interaction effects. Male speakers produced longer pauses, but this gender effect was more prominent at the utterance final position.

음성은 컴퓨터로 대변되는 기계와 사람 그리고 기계를 매개로 한 사람과 사람의 상호작용에서 가장 쉽고 직관적인 인터페이스로 널리 활용되고 있다. 인간에게 음성정보를 제공하는 음성합성 분야에서는 합성결과의 자연스러움과 인식성이 시스템의 주요 평가요소로 활용되고 있는데 이러한 자연스러움과 인식성은 합성결과의 정확성뿐만 아니라 발화환경이나 발화자의 발화특징 혹은 감정상태 등에 의해 많은 영향을 받게 된다. 담화표지는 문장의 명제 내용에는 직접 관여하지 않으면서 화자의 발화 의도나 심리적 태도를 전달하는 구성 요소를 말하는데 본 논문에서는 담화표지가 포함된 대화 음성 데이터를 수집하여 담화표지의 음성언어적인 특징을 분석하고 분석된 결과를 음성합성 시스템에 활용하는 표현방식에 대해 논의한다.

발화점 감지 튜브 자동소화장치는 화재발생시 일정한 온도가 되면 튜브가 녹아 가스가 방출되면서 소화용기내의 소화약제가 방출되어 화재를 진압하는 장치로써 전력의 공급 없이도 화재의 감지 및 소화가 가능한 자동소화장치이다. 본 논문에서는 감지온도 $100^{\circ}C{\sim}110^{\circ}C$에서 열에 반응하여 가스방출이 가능한 첨단 폴리머 튜크 재질의 발화점감지 튜브를 개발하고자 기존 발화점 감지 튜브의 특성을 분석하였다.

This study aims to design a framework for analyzing group argumentation in terms of participants' interaction. Regarding the current group argumentation setting as argumentation on socio-scientific issues within participants who have had limited experience on group argumentation, the analytical framework was designed to explain (1) what was each participant's role on group argumentation, (2) how these roles were changed within each time of argumentation, and (3) how the patterns of interaction were changed through seven times of a series of argumentation on socio-scientific issues. Based on the literature review on analytical framework of argumentation in science education including the works on the structure of argumentation, the discourse formation through interaction, and the linguistic approach on participants' interaction, the current research framework was built. Showing the results of applying the designed framework on group argumentation as an example, strength of using the current designed framework was discussed.

The purpose of this study was to compare the vocal characteristics of 40 adults with and without cerebral palsy (CP), upon presentation of three speech tasks (i.e., reading, chanting, and singing). The Praat program was utilized to generate data on fundamental frequency, voice intensity, jitter, and shimmer. The results of the analysis revealed no significant differences on fundamental frequency and intensity. However, both groups showed significant decreases in jitter and shimmer when engaged in singing tasks. The analysis of group differences indicated that adults with CP showed significantly higher variation scores on jitter and shimmer than the group without CP, and the difference on jitter and shimmer became greater during rhythmic chanting. In terms of jitter variation, the interaction effects according to the groups and types of speech tasks were greater, demonstrating the differences between the two groups. This study can be utilized as a basic research, regarding changes in vocal characteristics of adults with CP according to different musical speech tasks.

본 논문에서는 화행처리를 기반으로 한 중고자동차 매매 영역 대화시스템 구축 과정에서 활용한 자연언어 대화체 발화의 언표적 행위와 언표내적 행위 간의 관계를 살펴보고자 한다. 하나의 언표적 행위는 여러 상이한 언표내적 행위를 수행할 수 있으며 또 역으로 여러 언표적 행위가 동일한 언표내적 행위를 구성하기도 한다. 이처럼 언표적 행위와 언표내적 행위 간에는 획일적이고 일률적인 상관관계를 설정하기가 어렵다. 그럼에도 불구하고 대화에 나타나는 발화들은 어떤 행위를 구성하는 경향이 강하고 이 행위들은 각 발화의 언표내적 행위로 결정되며 단일 발화들이 모여서 이루는 대화에는 화행의 흐름이 있기 마련이다. 따라서 우리는 본 논문에서 대화시스템의 효율적인 대화관리를 위해서 실제 자연언어 발화와 그에 따른 언표적 행위, 언표내적 행위를 올바로 분석하고 그 관계를 규명하여 대화를 자연스럽게 유도하도록 한다.

본 연구는 심층학습 기법을 활용하여 양극 데이터에 대해 학습된 모델로부터 예측된 결과를 바탕으로 언어 장애 여부를 판단하고, 이를 바탕으로 효율적인 언어 치료를 수행할 수 있는 방법론을 제시한다. 발화자의 개별 발화에 대해 데이터화를 하여 합성곱 신경망 모델(CNN)을 학습한다. 이를 이용하여 발화자의 연령 집단을 예측하고 결과를 분석하여 발화자의 언어 연령 및 장애 여부를 판단을 할 수 있다.

시간 페트리 네트는 실시간 값을 갖는 이산사건 시스템을 모델링하고 해석하기 위한 방법중 하나이다. 시간 페트리 네트는 각 트랜지션에 대하여 두 개의 시간 값, 최초 발화 시간 $\alpha$$_{i}$와 최종 발화 시간 $\beta$$_{i}$를 갖는다. 본 논문에서는 최적 발화 시간을 결정하기 위하여 퍼지 이론을 적용한 퍼지 트랜지션 시간 페트리 네트를 제안하였다. 퍼지 트랜지션 시간 페트리 네트의 트랜지션 점화 시간 ${\gamma}$$_{i}$는 고정 최초 발화 시간 $\alpha$$_{i}$와 고정 최종 발화 시간 $\beta$$_{i}$ 사이에서 어떠한 복잡한 계산 절차나 임의의 조건 없이 입력정보를 이용한 퍼지 이론으로부터 결정된다. 교차로에서 교통 신호제어기는 퍼지 트랜지션 시간 페트리 네트에 의하여 모델링되고 해석되었다. 퍼지 트랜지션 시간 페트리 네트의 중요한 특성은 교통 신호기의 모델링과 시뮬레이션에 의해서 보여진다. 의해서 보여진다.

본 연구는 직업적 음성 사용자인 연극 배우의 음성 관리, 극중 인물 특징을 표현하기 위한 요소 중 음성이 차지하는 비중과 적합한 발성 및 발화 방법에 대하여 살펴보았다. 본 연구에는 대구광역시 소재 K극예술연구회의 연극 배우 9명이 참여하였다. 연극 배우의 음성 관리 및 극중 인물의 특성을 표현하기 위한 발성 및 발화 방법에 대한 설문지를 작성하여 조사하였다. 여러 가지 인물에 적합한 발성법으로 '산책' 문단을 발화하도록 한 뒤, 대상자들에게 각 인물에 대한 발성 방법을 설문지에 기록하도록 하였다. 대상자들이 발화한 음성 샘플을 음향학적, 지각적 측면에서 평가하여 대상자들이 기술한 발성 및 발화 방범과의 상관을 살펴보았다. 음성 샘플은 Windows용 Praat(4.1.7)으로 수집 및 분석하였다. 대화시스템이 적절한 응답을 제시해 주기 위해서는 사용자의 의도를 분석하는 것은 중요한 일이다. 사용자의 의도는 도메인에 독립적인 화행과 도메인에 종속적인 서술자의 쌍으로 나타낼 수 있다. 사용자 의도를 정확하게 분석하기 위해서는 화행과 서술자를 동시에 분석하고 대화의 문맥을 고려해야 한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 모델은 합성곱 신경망에서 공유 계층을 이용하여 화행과 서술자간 상호작용이 반영된 발화 임베딩 모델을 학습한다. 그리고 순환 신경망을 통해 대화의 문맥을 반영하여 발화를 분석한다. 실험 결과 제안 모델이 이전 모델들 보다 높은 성능 (F1-measure로 화행에 대해 0.973, 서술자 0.919)을 보였다.
