This study is to investigate whether or not the aroma treatment has a positive impact on the reduction of anxiety of the school children when presenting a speech. Participants were 70 school children(20 males and 15 females for the control group, and 21 male and 14 females in the experimental group). They were exposed to 4 different scents i.e., lavender barreme, lemon, orange sweet, chamomile roman that were vaporized through humidifiers. Pre and post self-report type of SAS done by the children and SBES done by teachers were done before and one and two weeks after the treatment. The result indicated that children with aroma treatment than children who had no treatment showed a significant decrease in speech anxiety and improvement in behavior during speech.

This study analysed the published papers dealing with traffic behaviors since 2004 in south Korea. The following information was coded for each papers; year of publication, source, authors, main topic, and subtopic. The annual numbers of publication in 2004 and 2005 showed 6 articles and 7 articles. Since 2006, The annual numbers were increasing more than 10 papers. It means that the researches on traffic behavior were rich. The driver was main topic of 73.2% of articles. Cognition & Perception, Fatigue and Stress, and Alcohol were the main interest sub-topics dealing with main topic driver. Elderly driver was 10.4%, the interest in elderly drivers grew with population aging. And the dominant publications were Journal of traffic safety research, Journal of Korean Psychology Association, and Journal of the Koean Data Analysis Society with 60% of all articles for last 10 years.

Personality & Attitude, Cognition & Perception and Alcohol were the main interest subtopics dealing with main topic driver. And the dominant publications were Journal of traffic safety research, Journal of Korean society of transportation and Korean journal of psychological and social issues with 60% of all articles.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to test the effect of lavender fragrance on speech anxiety and public speech behavior of nursing students. Method: The subjects were 89 students in the nursing department of "K" college. We administered vaporizers containing lavender to the experimental group to measure the degree of speech anxiety and public speech behavior at pre-treatment and post-treatment. Results: The difference of variance in speech anxiety between the experimental and control groups was not significant (p=.477). However, the speech anxiety of the experimental group from pretest to post-test was significantly increased (p=.061). In addition, public speech behavior in the experimental group showed greater improvement than that in the control group (p=.000). Conclusion: This study has provided preliminary evidence that lavender fragrance may improve public speech behavior.

해기사의 행동오류는 해양사고를 야기하는 최종 결과물이다. 해기사의 행동오류는 SRK(Skill, Rule, Knowledge) 행동이론을 통해서 규명할 수 있고, 이러한 행동오류는 해양사고 기록을 통해서 식별할 수 있다. 본 발표의 목적은 과거 해양사고 기록을 토대로 해기사들의 다양한 행동오류와 이들 행동오류로 인하여 발생한 해양사고를 연계하여 해기사들의 행도오류를 평가하기 위한 방법과 현재까지의 결과를 소개하는데 있다. 라스무센이 제한한 행동이론에 해양사고 기록을 적용하여 해양사고 발생 당시의 해기사들의 행동오류를 식별할 수 있었다. 식별한 변수를 이용하여 해기사들의 행동오류를 추정한 결과, 사고원인과 결과 및 행동오류 사이에 강한 상관관계를 나타냈다. 추후, HMM(Hidden Markov Model)을 이용한 예측 기법을 적용하여 행동오류에 따른 해양사고 예방 방안을 제안할 예정이다.

4차산업 혁명 이후, 빅 데이터는 사이버 공간을 통한 사회적 파장이 큰 사건들에 대한 대중의 정보 수집 패턴을 이해하는 데에 있어서 전에 경험하지 못한 급속한 발전을 이루어 왔다. 사이버 공간에서 이루어지는 대중들의 정보수집 활동을 모니터링하므로서 대중들사이에서 떠오르는 주제나 사건을 파악하기에 좋은 인덱스로 여러 사회 경제분야에 활용되어 왔다. 하지만, 수자원 관리 및 방재관점에서는 이런 빅데이터을 활용한 연구 사례는 찾아 보기 힘들다. 하지만, 이런 빅데이터를 가뭄기에 대중들이 어떻게 반응하였는지를 연구하는 데에 활용될 수 있다. 이 발표에서 발표자는 미국 2011-17년 캘리포니아 가뭄의 선례연구들을 통해 주 또는 국가 범위에서 구글 이용자들의 정보수집 활동을 기록한 구글트렌즈 데이터를 가뭄기동안 대중의 정보 수집량을 바탕으로 가뭄 위험 인지도를 정의하고 대중의 행동 양식을 이해하는 데에 어떻게 활용할 수 있는 지를 소개한다. 첫번째로, 최근 캘리포니아에서 발생한 다년간의 가뭄동안 그 주안의 주민들의 행동양식 분석 결과를 소개한다. 두번째로는 미국 49개의 주에서 지난 2004년부터 2018년동안의 지역적 가뭄에 대한 대중의 가뭄 위험인지도를 시공간적인 양식을 주성분분석기술을 통해 분석한 결과을 소개한다. 끝으로, 발표자는 지난 미국 선례 연구들에서 발표자가 제안한 기술이 어떻게 대한민국에서 홍수나 가뭄 방재에 적용할 수 있으며 앞으로 대한민국을 수재해에 준비된 나라로 만드는 데에 있어서 빅데이터의 역할을 제시하고자 한다.

지난 1월 16일 전북 고창에서 최초 조류인플루엔자는 2월 21일 현재 28건의 AI 의심축 신고 및 22건의 양성 확진이 발표되었으며, 닭, 오리 가금류 250여 농가의 살처분 마리수가 500만수를 넘어서 2014년 들어 시작부터 축산업계의 난항이 거듭되고 있다. 이에 본지에서는 조류인플루엔자 발생동향 및 긴급행동지침, 사료 공급요령 등에 대해 개괄적으로 살펴보고자 한다.

하나의 개체가 수행하기 어려운 일을 다수의 개체가 군집을 이루어 수행하는 예는 다양한 생물들의 행동에서 발견된다. 이러한 생물학적 사회 행동을 로봇이나 자동화 기기에 응용하기 위한 기술에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있으며, 이와 관련하여 최근 발표된 사례들을 소개한다.
