최근 주요 기업들을 대상으로 전력 사용을 100% 재생에너지로 전환하자는 RE100 캠페인이 국내외에서 뜨거운 관심을 받고 있다. 2019년 12월 기준으로는 Apple, BMW Group 등 전 세계 211개 기업이 RE100 캠페인에 참여한 것으로 알려져 있다. RE100이 확산됨에 따라 해외 RE100 기업이 국내 협력기업에게도 재생에너지 사용을 요청하는 사례가 발생하고 있는데, 국내는 RE100 도입을 위한 전력거래제도가 마련되지 않았고, 재생에너지 발전원가가 높아 당장의 RE100 이행은 어려운 상황이다. 이에 따라, 장차 RE100이 국내 기업에 무역장벽으로 작용할 가능성이 제기되고 있어 본고에서는 RE100의 현황과 RE100 도입 비용을 낮추는 방안으로써 RE100과 탄소배출권의 연계에 대해 논의하고자 한다. 이를 통해 탄소배출권과 연계한 RE100 이행이 가능해지는 경우, 국내 재생에너지 보급 확대 및 국가 탄소배출 감축 계획 이행에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 예상된다.

우리나라 경제발전 역사에서 제철, 조선, 기계제조업 등의 중공업은 따로 떼어 놓고 생각할 수 없을 정도로 막대한 영향을 미쳤다. 중공업이 발전하면서 다른 여타 산업의 기반이 조성된 것은 물론이고, 중공업 제품들이 수출의 일등 공신 역할을 하면서 경제성장에 크게 이바지한 것이다. 이처럼 남다른 위치에 있는 중공업 기업 가운데 특히 눈에 띄는 회사가 있다. 바로 46회에 이어 47회 무역의 날에서 '2천만 불 수출탑'을 달성한 HSG 중공업(주)이 그곳이다. 지난 1989년 금광기업사로 출범한 이곳은 LNG 운반선의 펌프타워를 비롯한 대형 조선기자재와 해양플랜트, 하역운반설비 등을 전문적으로 제작하는 기업이다. 그 명성에 걸맞게 HSG 중공업(주)에서는 자재 구매에서부터 설계, 제작까지 모든 공정이 이뤄지고 있다. 단순하게 제품만을 생산하고 있다고 판단하면 큰 오산이다. 이곳은 삼성중공업, 현대중공업, 대우조선해양 등 국내 유수의 기업은 물론 샌드빅, 지멘스 등 외국기업으로부터 많은 물량을 수주받고 있을 정도로 기술력과 품질 모두를 인정받고 있다. 그렇다면 무엇이 이처럼 회사를 성장 발전시켜나갔을까. 이곳 관계자들은 이 같은 물음의 답으로 하나같이 '안전'을 꼽고 있다. 근로자들의 안전을 위해 매진한 것이 곧 고품질의 제품을 생산해 낼 수 있는 밑거름이 됐다는 것이다. 무재해 일터를 구축하기 위해 빈틈없는 안전관리를 전개해 나가고 있는 HSG 중공업(주)을 찾아가봤다.

China has transformed her strategies for economic development from exogenous development founded on foreign capitals to endogenous development based on enhancing technology innovation capabilities since 2000. More specifically, Chinese business activities have coupled with new institutional settings which enable them to facilitate advanced technology and management methods. As a result, the characteristics of the spatial economy in China are likely to transfer from export-led developmental space to technology-oriented developmental space. In this context, this paper aims to identify the characteristics of technology-oriented space by investigating intra-, inter- and extra-firms relations of Korean FDI firms in Shanghai, China. In terms of intra-firm relations, Korean FDI firms adopted strategies for maximizing business efficiency and effectiveness by transforming their personal networks into formal networks. In terms of inter-firm relations, the distinction of Korean FDI firms' networks has been found in accordance with firm size, industrial sectors, ways of investment etc. Finally, Korean FDI firms has formal networks resulted from institutional involvement, as well as informal (personal) networks based on guanxi (inter-personal relations) in extra-firm relations. Therefore, two types of processes affecting the networks and institutional legacies of the Soviet system can be identified. First is the interaction of institutions and restructuring of pre-existing networks. Second is the insulated institutions and endurance of preexisting networks. And these two governance types have created regional economies which are embedded and over-embedded.

So far, the rationality of management decisions has been limited to the economic rationality of maximizing self-interest. However, management rationality in the ESG era, which pursues the interests of the environment, society, and the company from the perspective of harmony and balance, requires new judgment standards. The goal of ESG management is sustainable development. Sustainable development goes beyond the accumulation of wealth, which was the goal of the past economy, and aims for the happiness of the entire society, including coexistence and fair development that develops together with the entire society. From Aristotle's perspective, the happiness of the entire society promoted by sustainable development is no different from the highest good of citizens, members of the community. Accordingly, this paper attempted to explore the new management rationality required for managers in the ESG era by comparing Aristotle's concept of citizenship with the concept of 'corporate citizenship', one of the main concepts of ESG management. Through this, we sought to show that companies are essentially communal entities and that the company's pursuit of profit requires rationality of balance and harmony with environmental and social interests.

본 논문에서는 현재 강원도 중소기업들이 기업경쟁력을 높이기 위해 실시하고 있는 품질경영 방안에 대해 연구하였다. 특히 본 연구에서는 공동기술개발 컨소시엄을 실시하고 있는 중소기업을 대상으로 21세기 일류기업으로 발전해 나가기 위해 기업에서 중점적으로 추진하고 있는 품질경영 추진방안에 대해 조사하였다. 연구수행에 있어서 지방 중소기업들이 공통적으로 겪고 있는 인력부족 및 자금부족으로 인해 기업에서 중점적으로 관심을 갖고 추진하여야 하는 품질경영 전반에 걸쳐 어려움을 겪고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 21세기 지방소재 중소기업이 일류기업으로 발전하기 위한 방안은 기업 내 인력을 지역 대학과 연계하여 주기적인 교육프로그램을 추진할 필요성이 있으며, 기업과 관련된 교수외부전문가(연구원) 등을 적극적으로 활용하여 기업경쟁력 확보를 위한 경영전략을 모색하고, 지속적으로 산$\cdot$학$\cdot$관의 유기적인 시스템을 구축할 필요성이 있다. 본 연구의 한계는 조사 대상기업이 강원도에 위치한 제조기업 중에서 컨소시엄 참여기업이기 때문에 현황과 추진활동 차이에 따른 결과의 해석을 일반화하기에는 약간 무리가 있으며, 향후의 연구에서는 컨소시엄 참여기업 만이 아닌 강원도 소재 제조기업 중에서 표본을 추출하거나, 전수조사를 실시하여 보다 세밀한 분석이 실시되어질 필요가 있을 것이다.

The leaders such as The Robert Foundation of the U.S., Social Firms U.K., EMES European Research Network worldwide are groping for the survival strategies of social enterprises and of their developmental methods with the utilization of social capital. Along with the way the world economy goes on, this study is first of all to empirically analyze how the diversity and strength of network as independent variables work with the studies of the survival of enterprises of Granovetter Mark, Burt Ronald, Coleman James, Peter Witt, Andreas Schroeter, Christin Merz, Helen Haugh, mainly concerned with the increase in employment, the increment in sales, delegation of authorization as dependent variables and secondly it is to present a theoretical possibility of optimizing the development of social enterprises. The object of this study consists of 25 companies recommended by experts out of the current national 295 social enterprises in 2009 through the analysis of sources of SPSS 12.0, appropriateness, reliability, interrelation, etc; besides, hypotheses are proved by multiple regression analysis. A result of the investigation indicates that there is the necessity of network in all the processes of the survival of enterprises, the growth in employment, the increase in sales, delegation of authorization; especially, it suggests that it is necessary to manage, maintain and develop primary factors relating to a variety of networks to improve sales, and relating to the intensity of network for the survival of corporations. At last, I think that this study could be a help to the strategies of utilizing social capital in order for many companies or nonprofit social organizations in Korea to develop into constant enterprises.

경제발전의 원동력이 되고 있는 중소∙벤처기업이 경기부진과 생산비 상승으로 이중고를 겪고 있다. 이에 정부의 적극적인 지원과 중소∙벤처기업정책의 재점검이 필요하다. 최근 전세계적으로 중소기업에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있는 가운데 미국, 독일, 싱가포르, 핀란드. 일본 등은 성공적으로 중소기업 지원정책 펼치고 있다. 이들 5개국을 통해 우리나라 중소∙벤처기업 지원정책의 나아갈 방향에 대해 살펴보자.

중소기업의 중흥을 도모하는 움직임이 활발해지고 있다. 지난 5월 25일 삼성경제연구소가 발표한 보고서‘일류 중견기업의 성공 요인’에서는 이런 청사진을 구체적으로 밝히고 있다. 15개 일류 중견기업을 대상으로 발전 양상과 성공 요인을 심층적으로 분석하고, 이에 일류 중견기업이 우리 경제의 허리를 탄탄히 받쳐 주어야 한다고 역설하고 있다. 이는 벤처기업인들에게 성취동기를 부여하는 좋은 계기가 될 것으로 기대한다.
