This research investigated the facts about the place and date of praying for the engraving of the first edition of Tripitaka Koreana. Major findings are as follows: 1) The very first idea of engraving the first edition of Tripitaka Koreana was evidenced in the record of 'The beginning of Tripitaka Koreana' from 'Daejanggakpan Gunsin Gigomun' written by YiGyuBo. 2) After comparing the contents of 'Daejanggakpan Gunsin Gigomun' with the record of the third volume of 'Goryeosa Jeolyo' dated February 13, 1011, this researcher confirmed that 'Daejanggakpan Gunsin Gigomun' also recorded this historical fact. 3) In the third volume of 'Goryeosa Jeolyo' dated February 13th, 1011, it is documented that a ritual was held to pray to the gods of heaven and earth for expelling the Kitan from the country. Further, the document states that this particular ritual consisted of a ceremony of lanterns held at the temporary palace in Cheongju on February 15th, to report to the gods on 'the engraving of the first edition of Tripitaka Koreana' 4) Therefore, it is verified that the date of praying for the engraving of the first edition of Tripitaka Koreana was February 15th of the lunar calendar, 1011(the second year of King Hyunjong's reign), and the place was the temporary palace in Cheongju.

한국보건복지인력개발원은 지난 9월 5일 개발원 서래당에서 유시민 장관 초청 사회복지직 공무원 간담회를 개최하였다. 이날 간담회는 유시민 장관, 한국보건복지인력개발원 이태수 원장, 사회복지직 공무원 과정 수강생 40명 등이 참석한 가운데 사회복지직 공무원들이 가지고 있는 현안에 대해 대화를 나누는 시간으로 80여분가량 진행되었다.

From April 29 to 30, 2011, under the influence of Asian dust originated from Mongolia, a high concentration of Asian dust was observed nationwide for 4 days in Korea. This study investigated the causes and characteristics of and weather conditions associated with Asian dust at high concentrations at its source in Mongolia. For analysis, Asian dust weather data, Asian dust monitoring tower data, satellite data, backward trajectory data, observation data (PM₁₀ and OPC data), and ECMWF reanalysis data were used. In the synoptic analysis, it was observed that the intervals of isobars were densely distributed in the central region of Mongolia and the pressure gradient force was strong. It could be inferenced that Asian dust occurred due to strong winds. The temperature was relatively high, above 10℃, just before the occurrence of Asian dust, and it decreased sharply at the onset of the dust. The relative humidity had a low value of less than approximately 40%. After the occurrence of Asian dust, it increased sharply to over 50% and then showed a tendency to decrease. In the aerosol index shown by the COMS satellite, a high concentration value of over 25 was detected in Inner Mongolia, and it was consistent with the observations made with naked eyes. In the 72-hour backward trajectory, the northwest airflow streamed into Korea, and on May 2, Heuksando showed the highest PM₁₀ concentration of 1,025 ㎍ m^-3(times the average). Especially, in kinematic vertical analysis, it was observed that low pressure on the ground was strengthened by cyclonic relative vorticity developed in the upper layer. Also, the vertical velocity development is considered to have played a major role in the occurrence of high concentration Asian dust.

사회복지 교육은 현장교육과 대학교육 두 가지를 말할 수 있다. 현재 대학교육에 비해 현장교육은 거의 방치상태에 있는 것이 사실인데, 이러한 상황에서 현장교육에 있어서의 새로운 틀을 만들고자 발 벗고 나선 꽃동네현도사회복지대학교 이태수 교수. 지난 11월 1일 개원한 한국보건복지인력개발원의 원장이기도 한 이교수는 또 한번의 새로운 시도를 하고 있다. 현장교육의 장(국립사회복지연수원)에서 대학교육의 장(꽃동네현도사회복지대학교)으로, 그리고 그 양쪽의 경험을 가지고 다시 현장교육의 산실(한국보건복지인력개발원)로 돌아와 사회복지 현장에서 가장 절실한 현장교육의 새로운 틀을 만드는데 능력을 최대한 발휘해 보게다는 이태수 원장을 만나보았다.
