Improvement of Radiosynthesis Yield of [11C]acetate ([11C]아세트산의 방사화학적 수율 증가를 위한 연구)

  • Purpose $[^{11}C]$acetate has been proved useful in detecting the myocardial oxygen metabolism and various malignancies including prostate cancer, hepatocellular carcinoma, renal cell carcinoma and brain tumors. The purpose of study was to improve the radiosynthesis yield of $[^{11}C]$acetate on a automated radiosynthesis module. Materials and Methods $[^{11}C]$acetate was prepared by carboxylation of grignard reagent, methylmagnesium chloride, with $[^{11}C]$$CO_2$ gas, followed by hydrolysis with 1 mM acetic acid and purification using solid phase extraction cartridges. The effect of the reaction temperature ($0^{\circ}C$, $10^{\circ}C$, $-55^{\circ}C$) and cyclotron beam time (10 min, 15 min, 20 min, 25 min) on the radiosynthesis yield were investigated in the $[^{11}C]$acetate labeling reaction. Results The maximum radiosynthesis yield was obtained at $-10^{\circ}C$ of reaction temperature. The radioactivities of $[^{11}C]$acetate acquired at $-10^{\circ}C$ reaction temperature was 2.4 times higher than those of $[^{11}C]$acetate acquired at $-55^{\circ}C$. Radiosynthesis yield of $[^{11}C]$acetate increased with increasing cyclotron beam time. Conclusion This study shows that radiosynthesis yield of $[^{11}C]$acetate highly dependent on reaction temperature. The best radiosynthesis yield was obtained in reaction of grignard reagent with $[^{11}C]$$CO_2$ at $-10^{\circ}C$. This radiolabeling conditions will be ideal for routine clinical application.

  • Air-staged combustion is known to be one of the techniques of NOx reduction. The objective of this study is to determine the optimal ratio of air flow distributed for CCOFA and SOFA; at this optimal ratio, the combustion and exhaust emission characteristics of a pulverized coal-fired boiler are maintained at a satisfactory level. A numerical investigation was performed at various airflow ratios of 16.7/83.3%, 25/75%, 50/50%, 75/25%, and 83.3/16.7%. An inert gas was considered as a substitute for air to isolate the effects of the cooling process and chemical reaction on NOx reduction; during NOx reduction in air-staged combustion, both the effects typically occur simultaneously. The results of our study show that the optimum condition, under which the maximum NOx reduction and highest boiler efficiency can be obtained, corresponds to the equal splitting of the over-fire air between CCOFA and SOFA.

Optimization of Preparation Condition on Oriental Melon Jam by Response Surface Methodology (반응표면 분석에 의한 참외잼의 제조조건 최적화)

  • This study was carried out to establish the preparation condition of muskmelon jam. A central composite design was applied to investigate effects of muskmelon paste content(40, 45, 50, 55, 60 g), fructose ratio of sugar(20, 35, 50, 65, $80\%$) and pectin addition(l, 2, 3, 4, 5 g). The maximum sugar content was 61.48 $^{\circ}$Brix in 41.04 g of muskmelon paste content, $48.10\%$ of fructose ratio of sugar and 2.12 g of pectin content. The maximum value of softness was 2.71 g in 45.06 g of muskmelon paste content, $79.46\%$ of fructose ratio of sugar and 2.71 g of pectin addition. The minimum value of jelly strength was $0.04\;g{\cdot}cm$ in 47.80 g of muskmelon paste content, $63.0\%$ of fructose ratio of sugar and 1.99 g of pectin addition. The maximum value of organoleptic overall palatability was 5.89 in 55.65 g of muskmelon paste content, $73.19\%$ of fructose ratio of sugar and 2.42 g of pectin addition. The optimum conditions predicted for each corresponding physicochemical and organoleptic properties of muskmelon jam were 55.2 g(muskmelon paste content), $76.3\%$(fructose ratio of sugar) and 2.5 g(pectin addition).

  • 지필의 수축 현상은 섬유의 특성, Forming 공정에서 섬유배향Drying, 온도조건, Size P Press Y- Coating 공정 에서 Rewetting, 공정 중의 Tension, Draw등에 의 해 영 향을 받게 된다. 특히 Drying 공정에서는 지필 수분이 증발하면서 섬유의 자체 수축 및 섬유결합 부의 Micro compression이 발생하게 된다. 그리고 Draw, Canvas Tension, Cylinder 온도둥과 같은 공정 조건의 변동에 따라 지필 수축률의 차이가 발생하며 제품의 M MD/CD의 강도적 특성 및 칫수안정성 컬등의 품질과 상관성을 갖는다. 일반적으로 제 품의 신축률을 측정하는 일반적인 방법은 Reel 샘플을 일정시간 침수하여 종이 내부의 응력을 제거한 후 전후의 치수 차이를 비교하는 것이다. 그러나 이 방법을 통해서는 실 질적으로 Dryer 내부의 어느 단계에서 어느 정도의 수축이 발생하는지를 판단할 수는 없다. 본 연구는 Dryer에서 Reel 까지의 종이 수축 변화를 On - Line상에서 직접 측정한 적 용 사례와 공정 조건에 따른 지필 수축의 변화를 측정한 결과에 대한 것이다. 여기서 사용된 On-Line 지필 수축기는 직진성의 레이저를 이동식 지지대에 설치하여 전/후측 의 지필과 Cy linder 양끝의 거리 차이를 측정하여 지필의 폭을 계산할 수 있도록 자체 개발하였다. 이 설비를 이용하여 Dryer 내부에서 지필 수축이 급격이 일어나는 C Cylinder 군을 찾아 스팀압력과 Bel Run의 진공도, Canvas Tension, Draw 공정조건을 조정하였고 결과적으로 제품의 신축률 개선 효과를 가져올 수 있었다. 본 연구에서 개발한 On-Line 지필 수축 측정 기법은 종이 칫수 안정성과 관련하여 향후 공정 최적화 작업의 진단 도구로서 적극적으로 활용할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.었다. 특히 지분의 경우, 참여한 회사의 지분관련 complain이 약 80% 정도 감소하는 결과를 나타 내었다. 또한 백상지의 경우 ink jet 프린터에 많이 사용됨으로 ink jet 프린터의 인쇄 적성을 image analyzer로 측정한 결과 산화전분 보다 향상된 결과를 나타내었다. 있다 고 사료되었다.칼비터에 의한 고해나 큰 물성적으로 큰 차이를 보이지는 않고 있 었다. 단지 섬유의 차이가 고해방식의 차이보다 월등히 크다는 사실을 보이고 있다 이러한 점은 섬유장의 길이에서도 볼 수 있다. 칼비터가 섬유를 절단하기만 하고 닥방망이 고해가 섬유장의 변화를 일으키지 않는다면 틀림없이 평균 섬유장의 차이가 생길것이다.의 여수도가 7 70% 이상 개선되는 것으로 나타났다.측정하였다. 또한 카르복실기 정량과 종이의 pH 측정 및 X -ray Diffractometer를 이용하여 결정화도를 측정하였다. 본 연구의 결과, 시간의 경과에 따라서 탄소의 결합에너지는 분포가 C-H에서 COO-, 또는 C=O로 달라짐으로써 종 이가 산화되고 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 또한 이 결합에너지 분포의 변화가 펄프의 종류 에 따라서 다르게 이동함으로써 제조된 시트의 표면 산화반응이 서로 다르게 일어나고 있음 을 알 수 있었으며, 이는 사용한 펄프의 화학 조성분의 차이에 기인한 것이라 사료된다.>NW 단열군이 연구지역 내에서 지하수 유동성이 가장 높은 단열군으로 추정된다. 이러한 사실은 3개 시추공을 대상으로 실시한 시추공 내 물리검층과 정압주입시험에서도 확인된다.. It was resulted from increase of weight of single cocoon. "Manta"2.5ppm produced 22.2kg of cocoon. It is equal to 9% increase in index, as compared to that of control.

Optimizing Cooking Condition of Short Grain Rice Containing Sea-tangle Patch (다시마밥 제조조건의 최적화)

  • Response surface methodology on sensory evaluation was used to optimize cooking condition of cooked short grain rice (CSR) and cooked short grain rice containing grainy sea-tangle patch (CSTR). Texture profile analysis and nutritional evaluation were also performed. For maximizing overall acceptability, it can be predicted sea-tangle patch 14%, added water 1.67 times of rice and sea-tangle amount and steeping time 47 min as optimum cooking conditions from sensory evaluation conducted by the forties panelist. Hardness of pressure cooked short grain rice containing grainy sea-tangle patch (CSTR) were lower than cooked short grain rice (CSR), but it showed similar as CSR in adhesiveness, chewiness and higher in springiness and cohesiveness. In addition CSTR was delayed retrogradation compared with CSR. The nutritional Quality of CSTR showed higher level in total dietary fiber, protein, ash than CSR, but lower in protein digestibility, C-PER, gelatinization degree compared with CSR.

Optimization of microwave-assisted extraction process of Hordeum vulgare L. by response surface methodology (반응표면분석법을 이용한 새싹보리 마이크로웨이브 추출공정의 최적화)

  • This study attempted to find optimum extract range of active ingredient for barley sprouts (Hordeum vulgare L.). Extracts from Hordeum vulgare L. were made by microwave extraction method and total polyphenol content (TPC), total flavonoid content (TFC), DPPH radical scavenging activity (DPPH) were measured with extract of Hordeum vulgare L.. Response surface methodology (RSM) was applied to a extraction process, and central composite design (CCD) was also used for this process to examine the optimum condition. Independent variables ($X_n$) are concentration of ethanol ($X_1$: 0, 25, 50, 75, 100%), microwave power ($X_2$: 60, 120, 180, 240, 300 W), extraction time ($X_3$: 4, 8, 12, 16, 20 min). Dependent variables ($Y_n$) are TPC ($Y_1$), TFC ($Y_2$), DPPH radical scavenging ($Y_3$). It is formed by sixteen conditions to extract. The $R^2$ value of dependent variables is ranged from 0.90 to 0.97 (p<0.05). Experiments values within the optimal range (40% of ethanol concentration, 120 W of microwave power, 18 min of extraction time) were 3.74 mg GAE/g (TPC), 3.00 mg RE/g (TFC), 35.43% (DPPH), respectively. Under the optimized conditions, predicted value showed no significant difference comparing with the experimental values.

Optimization of the Cold-air-drying Condition for a Steamed Pumpkin-Sweet Potato Slab (증절간 호박고구마의 냉풍건조조건 최적화)

  • Cold-air drying was conducted for a steamed pumpkin-sweet potato slab to improve its quality, convenience, and preference as a snack. A steamed pumpkin-sweet potato slab was dried from 10 to $25^{\circ}C$ for 48 h, and its moisture content, color, texture, and taste at different drying temperatures and drying times were evaluated. The lowest moisture content was 4.98%, at $25^{\circ}C$. The lightness decreased, but the other color values (a, b, and ${\Delta}E$) increased with the increasing drying temperature and drying time. The reducing sugar and soluble solid ranged from 98.7 to 194.75 mg/g and 19-70 $^{\circ}Brix$, respectively. The highest hardness of the steamed pumpkin-sweet potato slab was 23.88 $kg_f/cm^2$, and the springiness and cohesiveness were 91.15 and 98.36% when it was dried at $25^{\circ}C$ for 48 h. The sensory evaluation score was high at $10^{\circ}C$, 40 h and at $25^{\circ}C$, 24 h. The optimum drying condition was predicted at $19^{\circ}C$, 32 h via response surface methodology (RSM).

Optimization for Removal of Nitrogen Using Non-consumable Anode Electrodes (비소모성 Anode(산화전극)을 이용한 질소 제거 최적화)

  • Research was conducted to derive the optimal operation conditions and the optimal cathode for using a DSA electrode as an anode to minimize electrode consumption during the removal of nitrogen from wastewater by the electro-chemical method. Of the various electrodes tested as cathodes, brass was determined to be the optimal electrode. It had the highest NO3-N removal rate and the lowest concentration of residual NH3-N, a by-product when Cl is present in the solution. Investigating the effect of current density found that when the initial concentration of NO3-N was 50 mg L-1, the optimal current density was 15 mA cm-2. In addition, current densities above 15 mA cm-2 did not significantly affect the NO3-N removal rate. The effect of electrolytes on removing NO3-N and minimizing NH3-N was investigated by using Na2SO4 and NaCl as electrolytes and varying the reaction times. When Na2SO4 and NaCl are mixed at a ratio of 1.0 g L-1 to 0.5 g L-1 and reacted for 90 min at a current density of 15 mA cm-2 and an initial NO3-N concentration of 50 mg L-1, the removal rate of NO3-N was about 48% and there was no residual NH3-N. On the other hand, when using only 1.5 g L-1 of NaCl as an electrolyte, the removal rate of NO3-N was the highest at about 55% and there was no residual NH3-N.

A Study on the Optimization of the Mix Proportions of High Strength Concrete Fire-Resistant Reinforcement Using Orthogonal Array Table (직교배열표를 이용한 고강도콘크리트 내화성능 보강재의 배합 최적화 연구)

  • The peculiarity pointed out for high strength concrete is the occurrence of spalling during a fire. Recently, there are many efforts such as development of all types of spalling reducing materials and other innovative materials in various fields. Need is now to examine the adequate mixing proportions of these materials. This study intended to derive experimentally and statistically mix proportions that can represent the basic quality requirements as well as the optimal effects on the fire-resistance for 4 types of functional materials that are metakaolin, waste tire chip, polypropylene fiber and steel fiber. Here, the tests were planned through an optimal test method using an orthogonal array table with 4 parameters and 3 levels. The statistical analysis adopted the response surface analysis method. Results verified mutual complementary contribution between the materials when using a combination of the functional materials selected as parameters for the strengthening of the fire-resistance of 80 MPa-class high strength concrete. Besides, the optimal conditions of the fire-resistance strengthening materials derived through response surface analysis were a volumetric replacement of silica fume by 80% of metakaolin, a volumetric replacement of fine aggregates by 3% of tire waste chip, and an addition of 0.2% of the whole volume by polypropylene fiber without mixing of steel fiber. In such cases, the basic characteristics as well as the fire-resistant characteristics of high strength concrete were also satisfied.

Optimization of Cookies Prepared with Hizikia fusiformis Powder Using Response Surface Methodology (톳 분말 첨가 쿠키의 최적화)

  • This study was performed to determine the optimal manufacturing conditions of cookies prepared with Hizikia fusiformis. The variables in Hizikia fusiformis cookies production were the amounts of Hizikia fusiformis powder, butter, and sugar. Six sensory characteristics were used for sensory evaluations, including color, appearance, taste, brittleness, hardness, and overall acceptability. The optimal amounts of the three variables were found to be 6.00 g for Hizikia fusiformis powder, 100.00 g for butter, and 70.00 g for sugar against flour powder 200 g, which satisfies a target sensory score (7.0/9.0) according to the response surface method. Cookies with these optimal amounts of Hizikia fusiformis powder, butter, and sugar were tasted by 114 consumers and showed a high acceptability score (7.21). Females preferred the flavor of Hizikia fusiformis significantly more than males did (p<0.05). Older consumers (${\geq}30$ years old) scored significantly higher than younger consumers (${\leq}29$ years old) in texture (p<0.05). Spread ratio and hardness scores of Hizikia fusiformis cookies were lower than those of control cookies. Color analysis results of Hizikia fusiformis cookies were significantly lower in brightness and redness, and higher in yellowness than control cookies (p<0.01).
