충남대학교 인터넷침해대응기술연구센터 - 보보호 전문가들이 머리를 맞대다

  • 정보보호 벤더를 비롯해 정보보호에 대한 학문적 연구와 제품 개발이 수도권에 집중되 있다는 착각을 하게 된다. 이는 정보보호 벤더나 정보보호 제품 수요가 수도권에 집중돼 있기 때문이다. 하지만 각 지역별로 정보보호 연구는 지금 이 순간에도 지속되고 있고, 또 의미있는 연구결과들이 제시되고 있다. 이를 반영하듯 정보보호 분야에서 ITRC 지원대상인 5개 대학기관 중 3곳은 지방 대학 연구소가 차지하고 있다. 그중 충남대학교는 지난 2003년 인터넷침해대응기술연구센터를 설림, 각종 침해사고에 대비한 연구개발을 통해 최상의 연구 성과를 내놓고 있는 곳이다.

A Problem Based Teaching and Learning Model for Scratch Programming Education (문제 중심 학습을 적용한 스크래치 프로그래밍 교수 학습 모형)

  • Scratch, one of the educational programming languages, provides a media-rich programming environment and easy interface to users. It supports Korean language and is utilized usefully in programming classes in elementary and middle schools. However, programming causes cognitive loads to young students. Because the programming process is a complex problem solving procedure that requires logical and abstract thinking abilities. Therefore, we developed a problem based scratch programming teaching and learning model to enhance intrinsic motivation of learners and to maximize the effects of using the scratch, educational programming language. The developed problem based teaching and learning model considered elementary students' characteristics. It was implemented in fifth grade elementary school classes and the educational effects of the model was analysed. The developed model was helpful in enhancing students' problem solving potential and logical thinking abilities.

저출력/정지시 인적오류 정가 체계, SEPLOT의 개발

  • 저출력/정지시의 사고가 노심손상에 미치는 영향이 작지 않은데 비하여, 그 영향에 대한 평가 체계는 확립되어 있지 않다. 특히 인적오류가 차지하는 비중이 크며 이에 따라 인적오류를 평가할 수 있는 절차를 마련하여야 한다. 본 논문에서는 전출력시의 체계를 기반으로 저출력/정지시의 특성을 고려하여 인적오류를 평가할 수 있는 체계인 SEPLOT (Systematic Evaluation Procedure for LP&S Operation Tasks)을 개발하였다. SEPLOT에서는 영향도(Influence Diagrams)를 이용하여 인적오류에 영향을 주는 수행특성인자들을 동시에 고려함으로써 수행특성인자들 사이의 의존성 평가를 가능하게 하였고, 저출력/정지시의 특성을 반영할 수 있도록 절차서의 질, 인간-기계 연계, 다중 인간행위 사이의 의존성 등의 수행특성인자들이 중요하게 고려되도록 하였다. 이를 이용하여 참조 원전의 저출력/정지시 대표적인 작업인 소외전원상실사고 대응 작업 중 하나인 일차 충전 및 유출 운전(Primary Feed and Bleed)에 대하여 평가함으로써, 저출력/정지시 다른 여러 가지 수행작업들에 대한 인적오류에도 개발된 체계가 적용 가능함을 보여 주었다.

  • 조선기술의 발달과 해운업체의 요구로 선박이 점차 고속화 대형화됨에 따라 선박의 통항량은 매년 증가하고 있으며, 해양사고의 위험도 함께 높아지고 있다. 또한 최근 들어 어선이나 예선 등 소형선도 AIS(선박자동식별장치)를 설치하면서 관제대상 선박은 날이 갈수록 증가하는 추세이다. 따라서 선박이 항만으로 진입하기 이전 단계에 해양사고의 위험을 예방하기 위하여 항만관제의 범위가 확대되어야 한다는 필요성이 제기되고 있으며, 이로 인한 관제사의 업무량 및 스트레스도 증가하는 실정이다. 그러나 현재 사용중인 관제시스템은 모두 외국 제품으로 관제사의 다양한 요구사항을 반영하기에는 어려움이 있으며, 여러 기종이 혼재해 있어 VTS 간 연계도 불가능한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 관제장비를 통합 연동하여 관제사의 업무량을 효과적으로 감소시키고 전국 VTS 및 관련 기관 업체와 상호 유기적으로 연계할 수 있는 맞춤형 관제지원시스템의 개발에 대한 필요성 및 개념, 주요기능, 활용방안 등을 모색하여 보았다.

레저선박의 안전항해를 위한 빅데이터 플랫폼 개발 기초연구

  • 국민의 해양활동 증가로 전체 선박사고의 약 86%가 연안에서 발생하고, 레저선박 등 중소형선박이 89%를 차지하고 있다. 선박 이용자는 복잡다양하게 증가하고 있으나, 해양안전의식이 부족하고 이에 맞는 안전관리대책이 필요하다. 레저선박 이용자의 안전항행 지원과 연안 및 마리나에서의 해양사고를 줄이기 위해 이용자가 이용하고 있는 각종 자료(기상정보, 항로정보, 마리나 정보, 주제도 등)와 해역이용자, 관제자의 의견을 반영한 해양기상, 항로정보, 안전정보, 레저 정보 등 종합적인 빅데이터를 가공하여 레저선박 이용자에게 꼭 필요한 전용항해안전 시스템 개발을 위한 기초 연구를 수행하고 있다.

A Study on the Introduction of IMO Casualty Investigation Code and Marine Safety Investigation System in Korea (IMO 해양사고조사코드의 도입과 해양사고조사제도에 관한 고찰)

  • The marine safety investigation inquires and concludes the facts and causes of the marine casualties and incidents with the objective of preventing similar roses in the future. Thus, IMO and most states adopt and revise marine safety related conventions and national laws based on the results of marine safety investigation. In particular, IMO recently adopts mandatory IMO Casualty Investigation Code to identify the precise cause of rose with states' cooperation, to report the result of investigation, and to establish new international safety standard helping prevention of similar cases based on the report. The Judgement of the Korean Maritime Safety Tribunal system based on the 'Act on the investigation of and inquiry into marine accidents' is used for the purpose of marine safety investigation in Korea to prove cause of marine accident and to improve marine safety. Therefore, this study examines the Code and compares the Code with the Act to reflect the contents of provisions in the Code into the Act. The study would also be the basic references in relation to revising of marine safety investigation system in Korea Specially, the contents in relation to the independence of investigation authority and mandatory counselling system, and guarantee of seafarers human rights to ensure fairness of investigation would be included.

Design and Implementation of an HNS Accident Tracking System for Rapid Decision Making (신속한 의사결정을 위한 HNS 사고이력관리시스템 설계 및 구현)

  • HNS accidents involve large-scale fires and explosions, causing numerous human casualties and extreme environmental pollution in the surrounding area. The widespread diffusion of effects should be prevented through rapid decision making. In this study, a high-quality, standardized, and digitized HNS accident databases has been generated based on the HNS standard code proposed. Furthermore, the HNS Accident Tracking System (HATS) was applied and implemented to allow for systematic integration management and sharing. In addition, statistical analysis was performed on 76 cases of domestic HNS accident data collected over 23 years using HATS. In Korea, an average of 3.3 HNS accidents occurred each year and major HNS accident factors were Springs (41 %), Aprons (51 %), Chemical Carriers (49 %), Crew's Fault (45 %) and Xylenes (12 %). A Study on the Improvement of System to Prevent Accidents during Welding and Melting Operations (용접·용단 작업 중 사고 예방을 위한 제도 개선 연구)

  • Recently, fire and explosion accidents caused by sparks scattered during welding and melting work in the work place where flammables are present. The causes of such fire accidents are mostly non-compliance with basic safety rules such as the removal of hazardous goods and the prevention of sparks scattering. It is strongly recommended to revise Industrial Safety and Health Act. This study analyzes the fire and explosion accidents in the work of firearms, such as welding and melting work, and analyzes the causes from a system perspective, and proposes an improvement plan for the system such as expanding the number of fire monitors, pre-approval of fire risk work, and intensifying fire prevention safety education.

  • As the 4th industrial revolution has recently become a hot topic, the importance of autonomous vehicles has increased and interest has been increasing worldwide, and accidents involving autonomous vehicles have also occurred. With the development of autonomous vehicles, the possibility of a cyber-hacking threat to the car network is increasing. Various countries, including the US, UK and Germany, have developed guidelines to counter cyber-hacking of autonomous vehicles, In the case of Korea, limited temporary operation of autonomous vehicles is being carried out, but the legal system to be applied in case of accidents caused by vehicle network hacking is insufficient. In this paper, based on the existing legal system, we examine the civil liability caused by the cyber hacking of the autonomous driving car, while we propose a law amendment suited to the characteristics of autonomous driving car and a legal system improvement plan that can give sustainable trust to autonomous driving car.

The Effects of Authentic Open Inquiry on Cognitive Reasoning through an Analysis of Types of Student-generated Questions (학생들이 제시한 질문의 유형 분석을 통한 개방적 참탐구 활동의 인지적 추론 측면의 효과)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate if students may actually experience scientific reasoning based on an epistemology of authentic science during authentic open inquiry. The samples were 86 10th graders in a science-high school in Seoul. The experimental group practiced authentic open inquiry and the control group practiced traditional school science inquiry in five weeks. Then, the questions students asked while performing inquiry tasks were analyzed. The frequency of the questions asked by students was almost same between two groups, however, the types of questions were different. The frequency of thinking questions in experimental group was higher than the control, and the difference was statistically significant (P<.01). Particularly, the frequency of expansive thinking questions and anomaly detection questions was much higher in experimental than the control group. Judging from the result, with the students from the experimental group asking questions reflecting on the epistemology of authentic science such as scientific methods, anomalous data, and uncertainty about reasoning, students may understand authentic science features during the activities of open authentic inquiry. The result from comparing questions according to the inquiry subject showed that more openness caused the higher frequency of anomaly detection questions and strategy questions, but that inductive thinking questions and analogical thinking questions were connected to inquiry subject rather than the openness of the inquiry.
